Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a friction pad for use within a system for transporting elongated tubular items. The present disclosure also relates to a transport system for securely transporting and stacking elongated tubular items, the system comprising a lower profile and an upper profile, at least one friction pad according to the present disclosure arranged on the lower profile and / or the upper profile, and a fastening arrangement for fastening the lower profile to the upper profile and clamping the tubular item securely in place between the lower profile and the upper profile. Further, the present disclosure relates to the use of a friction pad within a system for transporting elongated tubular items, the friction pad configured according to the present disclosure and, optionally, the system configured according to the present disclosure.
