Abstract

The present invention provides a display panel and a method for driving the same. The display panel comprises pixel circuits. In the pixel circuit, a first compensation module is configured to transmit a reference signal and a data signal to the first source-drain electrode of the excitation transistor during a first period of time and a second period of time, respectively, and a second compensation module is configured to control the formation of a current circuit between the second source-drain electrode of the excitation transistor and the gate of the excitation transistor during the first period of time and the second period of time. The excitation transistor switches from an open state at the beginning to a closed state at the end during the first period of time and the second period of time.
