Abstract

According to one aspect of the invention, a device for manipulating the sclera to facilitate the introduction of a drug into the suprachoroidal space of the eye may include a needle with a sharpened distal tip, a needle hub connected to a proximal end of the needle, a housing enclosing the needle hub and extending from the proximal end of the needle hub, and an adapter enclosing a portion of the needle.
