[0002] The present invention refers to a protective clothing gear assembly for motorcyclists, such as overalls, jackets and / or trousers, helmets, gloves, and boots. The invention is set out in the appended set of claims.

[0013] As the drawings reported show, each braking device (1) of the protective clothing gear assembly of the invention is comprised of a plurality of elongated rubber bands (2), which may be obtained from a rubber sheet. The central core of each elongated rubber band has a triangular section and is designed to define an adhesive element in order to slow down the sliding of the pilot. The elongated rubber bands (2) may be provided with an internal cushioning (3) comprising a damping means that allows the assembly to deform and prevent, as much as possible, any injuries to certain parts of the body of the user.

Claims

1. A protective clothing gear (5) assembly for motorcyclists comprising a protective clothing gear for motorcyclists such as overalls, jackets, trousers made of leather, cordura or any other material it may be manufactured with, gloves, boots and even helmets, with a plurality of braking devices (1) integrated into the protective clothing gear (5) characterised in that each braking device (1) comprising a plurality of elongated bands (2,2') of solid rubber in which a central core of each elongated rubber band (2, 2') has a triangular section, the elongated rubber bands (2,2') being arranged over a cushioned and / or rigid base (3,3') for securing the elongated rubber bands (2,2') into the protective clothing gear (5), the elongated rubber bands (2,2') being arranged in parallel, forming staggered sections, wherein the braking devices (1) are distributed on different parts of the protective clothing gear (5), mainly on the areas that statistically are in contact with the asphalt or any other surface the motorcyclist slides on, such as the arms, the lower back, hips, upper back, the front and sides of the legs, the head, hands, feet, such as the elongated rubber bands (2,2') reduce the distance that a motorcyclist slides after suffering an accident and falling off.

The assembly, according to claim 1, wherein each braking device (1) further comprises side pieces (4) made of cordura and leather that form part of a cut of the protective clothing gear (5) in which they are integrated, and wherein the side pieces (4) are fixed by means of adhesive to the sides of the elongated rubber bands (2') which define one side wings (4) used for securing the braking device (1) to the protective clothing gear (5).

3. The assembly, according to claim 2, wherein the side wings (4) attached to the elongated rubber bands (2,2') are independent of the material and the piece of clothing they are integrated into.

The assembly according to claim 1, wherein the cushioned and / or rigid base (3,3') is a laminate base (3') made of rigid plastic, which has a slightly oversized plant in relation to the elongated rubber bands (2') fixed to the laminate base (3'), and is attached to the relevant clothing gear (5).

5. The assembly, according to claim 4, wherein the laminate base (3') is slightly protruding in relation to the elongated rubber bands (2'), defining a perimeter edge (6) comprising a line of orifices (7) for fixing the braking device (1) to the protective clothing gear (5) by means of stitching.

6. The assembly, according to claim 4, wherein a layer of cushioned material (8) is placed between the clothing gear (5) and the laminate base (3') of each braking device (1).

7. The assembly, according to claim 4, wherein the elongated rubber bands (2') of each braking device (1) adopt a longitudinal or curved arrangement.
