Abstract
The present invention relates to an underwater vehicle with a lock system and a method for discharging a diver underwater. The invention further relates to an underwater vehicle with a lock system and a method for accommodating at least one diver underwater. A fluid can be fed into the lock (1) through a fluid connection (11, 12). A fluid pressure sensor (S2) measures a variable that correlates with the pressure of a fluid in the lock (1). A controller (3, 4) controls a flow rate adjustment unit depending on signals from the fluid pressure sensor (S2) with the control objective of increasing the measured fluid pressure in the upper region (L) until it equals a target value for the fluid pressure. The controlled flow rate adjustment unit (V2, V3) controls the flow rate of fluid through the fluid connection (11, 12) into the lock (1).Preferably, a state can be created in which a lower region (W) of a lock (1) of the lock system is filled with water and an upper region (L) is filled with air.
