Description

Background of the invention

[0001] When mounting or arranging a passdoor in a garage door or a port door it is important that the passdoor does not lower the insulation of the door too much or create leaks in the door at which water and wind can pass the door.

[0002] A passdoor in a sectional door is often mounted on site after the sectional door has been mounted in the opening. U-profiles is used to enclose the edges of the passdoor opening and the edges of the pass door and to be the doorframe of the passdoor.

[0003] A known problem with passdoors of sectional door are that they reduce the insulation of the door and could be the source of water leaks as they are hard to make waterproof / weatherproof.

[0004] There is thus a need for a way to reduce the impact on insulation and weatherproofing of a door and especially a door that is mounted on site, such as a passdoor of a sectional door.

[0005] DE 20 2014 001122 U1 discloses a sectional door with a pass door. The pass door is provided with a profile wrapping around the edges of the pass door.

[0006] US 2 402 105 A discloses glass sash for multiple glass panes. The sash comprises two L-shaped elements which together forms a glazing groove.

[0007] DE2814511A1 discloses a heat-insulating profile body, in particular for use for door or window frames or the like, consisting of two profile rails which are connected to one another by two profiled connecting strips made of heat-insulating material to form a cavity, which are undercut with lateral projections engage on the profile rails, wherein a first of the two connecting strips can be brought into engagement with at least one of the two profile rails by latching on the side.

[0008] WO2006113348A2 discloses an architectural thermal barrier component and method of forming the same and includes an elongate section incorporating a thermal break, for example for use in the manufacture of window, door, skylight frame assemblies and other fenestration related assemblies. The method comprises forming multiple co-extensive elongate elements, one of which includes a channel portion, and aligning the elongate elements with one another by snap-fitting the elements together or sliding the elements together longitudinally.Summary of the invention

The back portion of the first L-shaped profile, in a connected state, constitute at least a part of the back of the u-shape.

[0013] By the U-shaped profile according to the above, the U-shaped profile could be connected / mounted to an edge with a movement that is parallel with the edge and not perpendicular to the edge.

[0014] A further advantage is that the U-shaped profile could be tightly fitted to enclose the edge without the risk of damage the entrance system when the connecting / mounting the U-shaped profile.

[0015] According to an aspect the second profile is a L-shaped profile. The second L-shaped profile comprise a back portion and a wing portion, the wing portion of the second L-shaped profile constitute a second wing of the u-shape of the u-shaped profile, the edge of the back portion of the first L-shaped profile is configured to be connected to an edge of the back portion of the second L-shaped profile, and the back portions of the first and second L-shaped profile, in a connected state, constitute at least a part of the back of the u-shape.

[0018] According to the invention the u-shaped profile comprise a locking device configured to connect the edge of the back portion of the first L-shaped profile to the edge of the back portion of the second L-shaped profile or to the second profile.

[0019] According to the invention the locking device comprise an insulation part insulating the back portion of the first L-shaped profile from the back portion of the second L-shaped profile. By having an insulation part insulating the first L-shaped profile from the second profile the transfer of energy by the U-shaped profile is reduced.

[0020] According to an aspect the insulation part is configured to prevent the back of the u-shape of being a coldbridge between the wing portions of the first and second L-shaped profile. By a coldbridge is meant that the u-shape transfer energy from its two sides.
