Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to an arrangement for a vehicle opening. The invention also relates to an opening comprising such an arrangement. The invention further relates to a vehicle comprising such an arrangement or such an opening. The invention finally relates to a method of operating such a vehicle or such an opening or such an arrangement.
[0002] A vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, of the state of the art is generally provided, in particular on each side door, with an external opening control for the side door, for example of the handle type. The external opening control is generally arranged on an external panel of the door concerned. An action on this external opening control generally results, by means of a pivoting actuating lever winding a cable, in the activation of a lock causing the door to open.
[0003] Only in the event of an impact, particularly a side impact on the door, does the outer panel of the door deform towards the inside of the vehicle due to the compression generated by the impact. The exterior opening control is then brought closer to the lock to the point of coming into contact with the lock. During this compression, due to inertia, the actuating lever pivots around its pivot axis. This pivoting winds the lock activation cable, which generates the equivalent of manual action on the exterior opening control and produces an involuntary opening of the door.
[0004] Thus, although the exterior opening control was not activated, the door was opened inadvertently, which was dangerous and contrary to regulatory requirements. The vehicle cannot be marketed in this manner. Indeed, a door deformed by an impact must remain closed in order to ensure its function of protecting the vehicle's occupants.
[0005] Documents FR 2 869 340 A1, DE 102 60 900 A1 and DE 20 2013 002811 U1 disclose different arrangements for vehicle openings with locking means for keeping an opening closed in the event of an impact.
[0006] The aim of the invention is to provide an arrangement which overcomes the above drawbacks. In particular, the invention proposes a simple, reliable and economical arrangement which helps to keep an opening closed in the event of an impact.
[0007] To achieve this objective, the invention relates to an arrangement for a vehicle opening, in particular a motor vehicle, in particular a side door type opening, the arrangement comprising: a lock controlling the opening of such an opening, an actuating lever of the lock pivoting in a first direction towards a rest position of the actuating lever in which the lock blocks such an opening, and in a second direction towards an opening position of the actuating lever in which the lock releases such an opening, an opening control of such an opening comprising a fixed part, in particular an external opening control, a means of transmitting movement between the actuating lever and the lock, in particular a cable-type means of transmitting movement, an external panel of such an opening, a means of blocking the pivoting of the actuating lever in the second direction so that in the event of an impact on the external panel, the actuating lever is held towards or at the rest position, the locking means comprising a first part and a second part, the first part being intended to slide relative to the second part during such an impact, in particular the first part being intended to slide within the second part.
[0008] According to the invention, the second part of the locking means is integrated into the fixed part of the opening control, in particular the second part is made in one piece with the fixed part of the opening control.
[0009] According to the invention, the first part and the second part of the locking means are made in one piece and form a single part and the first part and the second part are fixed relative to each other by a second fixing means intended to break during such an impact.
[0010] The second attachment means may comprise at least one breakable fin extending between the first part and the second part.
[0011] The second part can be fixed, in particular by clipping and / or screwing, on the fixed part of the opening control, in particular on a base of the opening control.
[0012] The first part may comprise a bearing face arranged at a distance, in the transverse or substantially transverse direction, of between 3 mm and 9 mm, in particular 6 mm, relative to an element, in particular the lock, against which the bearing face of the first part may come into contact in the event of an impact.
[0013] The bearing face may be planar or substantially planar and / or may extend in a vertical and longitudinal plane or substantially in a vertical and longitudinal plane.
[0014] The first part may include a locking portion, including a beveled locking portion including a locking face.
[0015] The actuating lever may comprise a stop face intended to come into contact with the locking portion of the first part during an impact so as to block any pivoting of the actuating lever in the second direction.
[0016] The invention also relates to an opening, in particular a motor vehicle opening, in particular a side door type opening, comprising an arrangement as defined previously.
[0017] The invention also relates to a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, comprising an opening as defined previously and / or an arrangement as defined previously.
[0018] The invention also relates to a method of operating a vehicle as defined previously or an opening as defined previously or an arrangement as defined previously, the method comprising in the event of a side impact on the opening: a step of pressing on the outer panel and deforming the outer panel under the effect of the pressing, a step of moving the opening control, in particular moving the fixed part of the opening control and / or a base of the opening control, in the transverse or substantially transverse direction in the same direction as the direction of the impact as a result of the deformation of the outer panel, a step of contact of the locking means against an element, in particular a bearing face of the first part against the lock, a step of translation of the first part relative to the second part in the transverse or substantially transverse direction in a direction opposite to the direction of the impact, in particular due to the separation of the first part relative to the second part by the breakage of a second fixing means between the first part and the second part,a step of blocking the pivoting of the actuating lever in the second direction, in particular by contact between a stop face of the actuating lever and a blocking face of a blocking portion of the first part.
[0019] These objects, characteristics and advantages of the present invention will be explained in detail in the following description of an embodiment given without limitation in relation to the attached figures among which: there figure 1 is a view of a vehicle according to one embodiment of the invention; the figure 2 is a top view of an arrangement according to one embodiment of the invention; figure 3 is a partial sectional view along a vertical and longitudinal plane of the arrangement according to the embodiment of the invention; figure 4 is a partial perspective view of the arrangement according to the embodiment of the invention; figure 5 is a perspective view of a locking means of the arrangement according to an embodiment of the invention; figure 6 is another perspective view of the locking means of the arrangement according to the embodiment of the invention; figure 7 is a partial schematic sectional view along a vertical and transverse plane of a vehicle opening according to an embodiment of the invention, the opening being closed, not subjected to an impact and the opening control not being requested; figure 8 is a partial schematic sectional view along a vertical and transverse plane of the opening according to the embodiment of the invention, the opening being closed, not subjected to an impact and the opening control being requested; the figure 9 is a partial schematic sectional view along a vertical and transverse plane of the vehicle opening according to the embodiment of the invention, the opening being closed and subjected to an impact; figure 10 is a partial schematic sectional view along a vertical and transverse plane of the vehicle opening according to the embodiment of the invention, the opening being closed and deformed by an impact.
[0020] The direction in which a motor vehicle moves in a straight line is defined as the longitudinal direction X. By convention, the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, located in a plane parallel to the ground, is called the transverse direction Y. The third direction, perpendicular to the other two, is called the vertical direction Z. Thus, a direct XYZ reference frame is used in which X is the longitudinal direction in the front-rear direction of the vehicle, therefore directed towards the rear, Y is the transverse direction directed towards the right and Z is the vertical direction directed upwards. The forward direction corresponds to the direction in which the motor vehicle usually moves in the longitudinal direction and is opposite to the rear direction.
[0021] There figure 1 illustrates an embodiment of a vehicle, for example a motor vehicle 1. The motor vehicle 1 comprises at least one opening according to one embodiment. Preferably, the opening is a side door 2. Although the side door 2 illustrated in the figure 1 either a front side door on the left side, the side door 2 can be a front side door on the right side. The opening can also be a rear side door on the left or right intended for rear passengers, i.e. placed behind or substantially behind the driver and possibly the front passenger(s). Obviously, several rear side doors can be arranged on the same side of the motor vehicle 1. The side doors can also be hinged or sliding. Alternatively, the opening can also be a rear hinged door or a trunk door of the vehicle.
[0022] In the following, door 2 illustrated and described is a left side door.
[0023] Door 2 includes an arrangement 10 shown on the figures 2 , 3 et 4 .
[0024] The arrangement 10 comprises a lock 11 whose operating states make it possible to move and immobilize the door 2 on the vehicle body.
[0025] The arrangement 10 comprises an opening control 14 for the door 2, preferably an external opening control. By “external opening control” is meant a control arranged at least partially outside the vehicle. Such an external opening control is intended to be activated from outside the vehicle, in other words used to open the door 2 in order to access or enter a passenger compartment of the vehicle. For example, the external opening control 14 comprises a movable part 14' of the handle type or other gripping means, intended to be pulled towards the outside of the vehicle, as illustrated by the arrow T on the figures 2 And 8 The opening control 14 comprises a fixed part 15. The opening control 14 also comprises an actuating lever 12.
[0026] The actuating lever 12 is able to pivot, around a pivot axis A, in a first direction S1 towards a rest position PR of the actuating lever 12 in which the opening control 14 does not cause the door 2 to open, as illustrated in the figure 7 The pivoting of the actuating lever 12 is also capable of pivoting in a second direction S2, opposite to the first direction S1, towards an opening position PO of the actuating lever 12 in which the COE 14 urges the lock 11 to release the opening of the door 2 ( figure 8 ).
[0027] The arrangement 10 also comprises a means 13 for transmitting movement between the actuating lever 12 of the opening control 14 and the lock 11. Advantageously, the transmission means 13 is a cable 17, for example equipped with a sheath and / or sheath stop(s) so as to enable the travel of the cable 17 to be controlled. According to an alternative embodiment not shown, said transmission means may be a rod made from a rigid metal wire.
[0028] So, as illustrated on the figure 8 , the traction T on the movable part 14' of the opening control 14 causes a winding E and / or a movement of one end 17' of the cable 17 attached to the actuating lever 12. The winding E and / or movement of the end 17' causes the lock 11 to be released by movement of the other end of the cable at the lock 11 (not shown). The winding E and / or movement of the end 17' is carried out, for example, downwards. The movement of the other end of the cable at the lock is then carried out, for example, upwards. In any case, the movement of the cable end at the lock releases the lock and opens the door 2, or allows the door 2 to be opened without resistance.
[0029] The arrangement 10 further comprises an outer panel 3 of the door 2. The outer panel 3 is for example made of sheet steel and / or aluminum. Thus, the outer panel 3 deforms preferably in the event of an impact F, particularly in the event of a side impact, in order to absorb maximum energy. Indeed, as illustrated in the figures 9 et 10 , during an impact F at the level of the opening control 14 or substantially in the area of the opening control 14, the outer panel 3 approaches an inner panel 4 of the door 2.
[0030] Advantageously, the opening control 14, in particular its fixed part 15, is fixed at least partially to the exterior panel 3.
[0031] The arrangement 10 further comprises a locking means 20 for locking the pivoting of the actuating lever 12 in the second direction S2. More precisely, this locking means 20 only acts in the event of an impact F on the outer panel 3. Thus, in the event of such an impact F, the actuating lever 12 is held towards, or at, the rest position PR as will be detailed later.
[0032] As illustrated on the figures 5 et 6 , the locking means 20 comprises a first part 21 and a second part 22. The first part 21 is intended to slide relative to the second part 22 during the impact in the Y direction. For example, the first part and the second part are provided with complementary shapes making it possible to ensure a sliding connection between them. Preferably, the first part 21 is intended to slide within the second part 22. Advantageously again, as illustrated in the figures 3 à 6 , the first part 21 may be at least partially openwork, for example by orifices 21' of all types of section, for example straight, square or rectangular or triangular extending in the direction of translation of the first part 21. According to another embodiment not shown not forming part of the invention, the first part and the second part are of complementary shapes making it possible to ensure a pivoting connection between them. Preferably, the first part 21 is intended to pivot around the second part 22.
[0033] As illustrated on the figures 7 et 8 , the first part 21 and the second part 22 are fixed relative to each other by a second fixing means 23 according to the invention, or by a first fixing means according to a variant not illustrated but not forming part of the invention.
[0034] According to an alternative embodiment not forming part of the invention, the first part 21 could also be separate from the second part 22 so that their assembly could be carried out during the fitting of the parts in the door by an operator who would come to fix for example by harpooning or gluing.
[0035] According to the invention, the first part 21 and the second part 22 of the locking means 20 are made in one piece and form a single part. In other words, the first part 21 and the second part 22 are a single part which comes out of a single tooling imprint, for example by a molding process. For example, the material of the locking means is polypropylene. According to the invention, the second fixing means 23 is intended to break during an impact F. Preferably, the second fixing means 23 then comprises at least one fin 27 extending between the first part 21 and the second part 22. For example, two fins 27 are arranged, one being at the top and the other being at the bottom, or one on one side and the other on the opposite side. Alternatively, more fins 27 are provided, for example two at the top and two at the bottom, or two on one side and two on the other side.Preferably, the fins have similar or even identical cross-sectional areas so as to promote their simultaneous breakage and / or under the same force or substantially the same compression force which will be described later.
[0036] The second part 22 is fixed to the fixed part 15 of the opening control 14. For example, the fixing of the second part 22 is ensured by clipping and / or screwing. At least one clipping zone is therefore preferably provided on the fixed part 15 of the opening control 14 to facilitate the fixing of the second part 22. For this, the second part 22 then comprises at least one lug 28 or rib, for example in the shape or substantially in the shape of a sphere, a half-sphere, intended to cooperate with at least one cavity of complementary shape provided in the fixed part 15. Preferably, as illustrated in the figures 5 et 6 , two lugs 28 are provided. The second part 22 may also comprise, for example, at least one hole 29 for the passage of at least one screw intended to be screwed into the fixed part 15 or to cooperate with threaded elements and / or elements added to the fixed part 15, for example nuts. Preferably, as illustrated in the figures 5 et 6 , two holes 29 are provided. Thus, the locking means 20, more precisely its second part 22, can be assembled on the opening control 14 by inserting the lugs 28 into cavities of the opening control. This insertion is advantageously followed by screwing in screws passing through the hole(s) 29.
[0037] Preferably, the fixed part 15 of the opening control 14 is a base 16 extending for example in a lower part of the opening control 14 as illustrated in the figure 4 and illustrated schematically on the figure 7 .
[0038] According to the invention, the second part of the locking means is integrated into the fixed part of the opening control. For example, the second part is integral with the fixed part of the opening control. In an embodiment not forming part of the invention, the first part and the second part are fixed relative to each other by a first fixing means. The first fixing means is capable of releasing, i.e. separating, the first part from the second part upon impact F. The first fixing means comprises, for example, one or more clips, or tabs, provided on the fixed part of the opening control cooperating with one or more cavities or grooves or notches provided on the first part.Alternatively, the first fixing means comprises, for example, one or more clips, or tabs, provided on the first part cooperating with one or more cavities or grooves or notches provided on the fixed part of the opening control. Alternatively again, the first fixing means comprises, for example, several clips, or tabs, provided on the first part and on the fixed part of the opening control cooperating with one or more cavities or grooves or notches provided on the fixed part of the opening control and on the first part.
[0039] The first part 21 preferably comprises a bearing face 24. As illustrated in the figures 7 et 8 , except in an impact situation, the bearing face 24 is arranged at a distance D, in the transverse or substantially transverse direction, between 3 mm and 9 mm, in particular 6 mm, relative to an element 5. The element 5 is arranged between the bearing face 24 and the interior panel 4. Preferably, this element 5 is, or comprises, the lock 11. The bearing face 24 comes against, that is to say in contact with the element 5, in the event of an impact F. This is caused by the outer panel 3 moving towards the interior panel 4 during an impact, as illustrated in the figures 9 et 10 .
[0040] In an alternative embodiment not shown, the bearing face 24 of the first part 21 is arranged directly opposite the inner panel 4. For this purpose, to guarantee rigidity of the inner panel 4 against deformation, a spacer (not shown) can be added between the face 24 and the inner panel 4.
[0041] Preferably, the bearing face 24 is flat, or substantially flat. The bearing face 24 extends, for example, in a vertical and longitudinal plane or substantially in a vertical and longitudinal plane.
[0042] The first part 21 comprises a locking portion 25. For example, the locking portion 25 takes up the geometry of the stop face 18 of the lever 12 and could therefore be beveled. For example, the locking portion 25 comprises a locking face 26, as illustrated in the figures 5 And 7 especially.
[0043] The actuating lever 12 comprises a stop face 18. The stop face 18 is intended to come into contact, or substantially into contact, with the blocking portion 25 during the impact F. The blocking portion 25 then blocks any pivoting of the actuating lever 12 in the second direction S2 during an impact as will be explained below.
[0044] A method of executing a method of operating a vehicle or an opening or an arrangement in the event of a side impact F according to the invention is described below.
[0045] Thus, in the event of a lateral impact F on the door 2, the method comprises a step of pressing on the outer panel 3 and deforming the outer panel 3 under the effect of this pressure.
[0046] Simultaneously, or substantially simultaneously, with the pressing step, the method comprises a step of moving the opening control 14 in the transverse direction Y, or substantially transversely, in the same direction as that of the impact F. In other words, this movement is made towards the inner panel 4. This movement step is linked to the deformation of the outer panel 3 towards the inner panel 4. This movement step causes the movement of the fixed part 15 of the opening control 14 and / or its base 16 towards the inner panel 4.
[0047] Following the moving step, the method then comprises a step of contact of the blocking means 20 against the element 5. The distance D is therefore completely “made up” due to the movement of the outer panel causing the movement of the exterior opening control 14 fixed on the outer panel. As mentioned previously, the element 5 is preferably the lock 11. Thus, the contact of the contact step occurs between the bearing face 24 of the first part 21 and a surface 11' of the lock 11, as illustrated in the figure 9 .
[0048] Following the contact step, the method comprises a step of translating the first part 21 relative to the second part 22. This translation is carried out in the transverse, or substantially transverse, direction. The translation occurs in the direction opposite to the direction of the impact F, the first part 21 abutting against the lock 11 in the direction of the impact. This translation is preferably permitted due to the breakage of fins 27 extending between the first part 21 and the second part 22, as illustrated in the figure 9 In other words, the continuation of the compression of the outer panel separates the first part 21 from the second part 22. The first part 21 then slides into the second part 22.
[0049] According to the variant mentioned above not forming part of the invention, the step of translating the first part is enabled by “unclipping” preferably. Indeed, in the variant, the first part is linked to the fixed part of the opening control by a first detachable means, for example without breakage. Following the translation step, the method comprises a step of blocking the pivoting of the actuating lever 12. For example, as soon as a translation of the order of 1 mm is reached, the first part 21 begins to interfere with the actuating lever. More translation travel reinforces the blocking. The actuating lever 12 is prevented from pivoting in the second direction S2. This blocking is ensured by the contact, or substantially the contact, between the stop face 18 of the actuating lever 12 and the blocking face 26 of the blocking portion 25 of the first part 21, as illustrated in the figure 10 . Obviously, the translation stroke of the first part 21 within the base 16 of the opening control 14 is defined to prevent the lever 12 from reaching its opening position PO illustrated in the figure 8 . The forced return to the rest position PR of the actuating lever prevents any untimely maneuver within the lock, which helps to keep the lock closed. This forced return of pivoting in the first direction S1 of the actuating lever is facilitated by the shape of the blocking portion 25, beveled, cooperating with the stop face 18. As illustrated in the figure 8 , preferably, an edge 26' of the locking portion 25, for example at the bottom of the locking face 26, first comes into contact with the stop face 18 at an end 18' of the stop face 18 furthest from the pivot axis A of the lever. The first part 21 then exerts a significant force against the stop face 18 to block or counter the pivoting. Indeed, given the distance between the pivot axis A and the point of contact between the edge 26' and the end 18', the pivoting lever arm in the first direction S1 is particularly large. Furthermore, in the event of pivoting in the first direction S1 generated by translation of the first part 21, the beveled shape limits friction. Finally, the beveled shape is preferably defined so that the blocking face 26 and the stop face 18 are parallel or substantially parallel at the end of the impact as illustrated in the figure 10 .
[0050] Thus, despite the inertia during an impact which tends to cause the lever 12 to pivot around its axis A in the second direction S2, the arrangement 10 makes it possible to counter this effect and to avoid this pivoting which would cause the door 2 to open.
[0051] In summary, we are dealing with a blocker for an actuating lever 12, also called a balancer. The actuating lever 12 houses an inertial mass to limit the risks of opening by inertial phenomenon. The balancer or return function is integrated into the part 12 so that it ensures the connection between the external control forming said gripping means and the mobile lock interface. The blocker or blocking means 20 comprises a system that can be described as a “drawer” with regard to the first part 21 sliding in the second part 22. Thus, during a lateral impact on a door comprising the arrangement 10, the door does not open involuntarily.
[0052] Even if the rear door is not completely crushed during a regulatory test, the arrangement allows the rear door to be kept closed. In addition, the regulations require that the kinematic connection between the opening control and the lock be permanent during the test, which is the case for arrangement 10. The motor vehicle 1 equipped with doors each comprising arrangement 10 is therefore homologable and complies with the regulations.
[0053] Note that arrangement 10 is particularly suitable for a rear door opening control 14 which is generally connected by cable to its lock.
[0054] In other words, the arrangement 10 neutralizes the self-opening of the exterior opening control 14 during a side impact by taking advantage of the deformation of the exterior panel 3 of the door 2. Indeed, the deformation of the exterior panel 3 blocks the actuating lever 12 in its rest position PR. The actuating lever 12 being responsible for pulling the cable 17 which transmits the opening order to the lock, the cable is then not pulled. Having no opening order, the lock remains closed leaving the door closed. More precisely, the neutralization of the pivoting of the actuating lever is ensured by the crushing of the blocking means 20 “sandwiched” between the lock 11 and the opening control 14. Due to the reduction in the distance in the transverse direction Y between the exterior panel 3 and the interior panel 4 during an impact, the blocking means 20 is crushed. The first part 21 fits into the second part 22, like a drawer, when the outer panel 3 is compressed. The locking portion 25, preferably beveled, therefore uses the crushing of the door to fit against the actuating lever 12 and lock it from pivoting in the second direction S2.
[0055] Preferably, the locking means 20 is positioned on a rear face of the external opening control, in other words opposite the lock 11. As mentioned previously, the locking means 20 according to the preferred embodiment is attached for example by clipping and / or screwing onto the base 16 of the opening control 14. The parts 21, 22 are for example joined by a recessed connection provided by the breakable fins 27. The two parts 21, 22 are therefore linked by weak zones which break during shock or impact. Note that there is no relative movement between the first part 21, the drawer, and the second part 22, the support, before the compression due to the shock.
[0056] Advantageously, the respective shapes of the parts 21, 22 ensure sufficiently long guidance so as to avoid arching phenomena. The non-functional peripheral clearances between the first and second parts 21, 22 are increased in order to avoid any risk of arching.
[0057] To optimize efficiency, the bearing face 24 of the first part 21 is arranged close to the element 5, in the transverse direction, against which it is intended to come to bear during an impact. As seen previously, it is preferable that the element 5 is the lock 11. However, to ensure the absence of untimely contact, the distance or clearance D is for example 6 mm between the bearing face 24 and the surface 11' of the lock 11. Similarly, the volume within the second part 22, in non-impact conditions and in the transverse direction, is such that the locking portion 25 comes into immediate proximity of the actuating lever 12 without interfering with its pivoting travel, as illustrated in the figure 8 . For example, the locking means 20 not subjected to an impact allows a cable travel 17 which always allows the opening travel of the lock to be exceeded without interfering with the actuating lever 12. For example, the locking portion 25 of the first part 21 is at a distance D1 of the order of 1 mm relative to the actuating lever 12 at the end of the opening travel, as illustrated in the figure 8 .
[0058] In the case where the blocking means 20 is attached to the opening control 14, the solution does not cause any or little modification to the opening control. The opening control can then remain a standard part usable on different doors, whether or not they include the arrangement 10. In addition, the solution is compatible with different doors regardless of the arrangement of the parts within the door as long as the face 24 to be struck of the first part 21 is correctly positioned to play its role.
[0059] According to the invention, it is intended to integrate the second part into the fixed part of the opening control or into its base directly. In this case, the first part or drawer is for example clipped into the opening control, in the shock-free position. For example, according to the variant, the second part integrated into the fixed part of the opening control is standard for several door configurations and only the first part is adapted. Note that once the first part is released, it must always be guided in translation by the second part towards the lever to immobilize it.
[0060] The solution is applicable to any front or rear side door, regardless of the vehicle range, including commercial vehicles, especially when the lock and opening control are connected by a cable. It is particularly reliable.
[0061] Note that in addition to saving the material needed to obtain the first part 21, without reducing the rigidity along the compression direction, the orifices 21' make it possible to reduce the mass while not degrading the incompressibility of the first part. The mounting of the blocking means in each door then results in a negligible addition of mass. This makes this solution compatible with the ecological objectives of reducing the mass of vehicles in connection with the reduction of pollutant emissions. The blocking means, in particular the second part, being fixed or integrated into the opening control, it is easy to respect precise geometric conditions in relation to the element on which the first part abuts during an impact.
[0062] This solution is applicable in many cases, even if the door box does not have a lock opposite or substantially opposite depending on the transverse direction of the first part. Indeed, there is always an element on which the first part can come into contact, for example the interior panel 4.
[0063] As a remark, the solution according to the invention therefore achieves the desired object of preventing the untimely opening of the door 2 when this door 2 undergoes a lateral impact F deforming the exterior panel 3 towards the interior of the vehicle and has the following advantages: it can adapt to any interior door shape by adapting the shape of the first part; it can be used on different types of motor vehicles, including trucks, vans, light or industrial, or even public transport vehicles; it improves the safety of the vehicle equipped with this solution, the passenger(s) being protected by keeping the door closed, even in the event of successive impacts on the door, for example during a pile-up and / or during a secondary accident.
[0064] The invention is particularly well suited to a motor vehicle having a side door comprising an external opening control connected to a lock by a cable-type drive system. It relates to an arrangement within such a door. It also relates to a door comprising such an arrangement. Finally, it relates to a vehicle comprising such a door and / or such an arrangement. It also relates to a method of operating such a door.
[0065] Finally, although the solution has been described for a side door subjected to a mainly lateral impact F, it could also be suitable for a rear facade door in the event of a rear impact. Indeed, a van and / or utility vehicle which has at least one rear door comprising an external opening control, for example an external opening control of the handle type connected to a lock by a cable type drive system, can benefit from the advantages of the solution in the event of a rear impact.
[0066] Optionally, the solution can be adapted to a transmission of movement between the opening control and the rod-type lock.
