Abstract

The invention relates to a door (5) for a cooking appliance, with a modular attachment (7) arranged on a front side (8) of a first pane (6) of the door (5). The modular attachment (7) comprises a further pane (9) spaced apart from the first pane (6), which is held on a frame (10) of the modular attachment (7). In a closed installation position of the door (5), the first pane (6) is closer to the cooking chamber of the cooking appliance than the further pane (9). The frame (10) comprises a plurality of frame elements (13, 14) and has four corner regions. In the corner regions, the frame elements (13, 14) are coupled to one another by means of respective corner connectors (15) of the frame (10). The invention further relates to a cooking appliance with such a door (5).
