Abstract

A mounting device (1) for fastening at least one plumbing appliance comprises two supports (2) which extend at a distance from each other along a central axis (M), and a transverse element (3) which is placed between the supports (2), connects the two supports (2) and includes at least one fastening element (4), the transverse element (3) having a lower connecting piece (34), a front connecting piece (35) and an upper connecting piece (36); the lower connecting piece (34) projects from a lower edge (37) of the front connecting piece (35) at an angle (α), the upper connecting piece (36) projects from an upper edge (38) of the front connecting piece (35) at an angle (β), the at least one fastening element (4) is accessible through at least one opening (39) in the front connecting piece (35), and the ends of at least one of the connecting pieces are connected to the supports (2) by means of a welded joint.
