AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Current cleaning robots have limitations such as single-function designs, low structural rigidity, short service life, and susceptibility to damage when encountering obstacles, particularly due to poor stability and inadequate lifting mechanisms.

Method used

An automatic cleaning apparatus with a mobile platform and integrated dry and wet cleaning modules, featuring a four-link floating lifting and lowering structure that allows the dry cleaning module to passively move vertically, and a primary brush cover with pawls to manage obstacles and prevent entanglements.

Benefits of technology

Enhances cleaning functionality, stability, and service life by enabling simultaneous sweeping and mopping, improving obstacle passage and reducing the risk of damage from obstacles, while maintaining efficient operation.

Abstract

An automatic cleaning device, comprising: a moving platform (100) configured to automatically move on an operation surface; a cleaning module (150) which is provided on the moving platform (100) and comprises a wet-type cleaning module (400) configured to clean at least a part of the operation surface in a wet-type cleaning mode and a dry-type cleaning module (151) configured to clean at least a part of the operation surface in a dry-type cleaning mode; and a floating lifting / lowering structure (600) connected to the dry-type cleaning module (151) and configured to enable the dry-type cleaning module (151) to passively move up and down relative to the moving platform (100). When the cleaning device encounters an obstacle during operation, the cleaning device can easily cross the obstacle by means of the four-link floating lifting / lowering structure (600), and thus damage of the obstacle to the cleaning device is avoided.
