Method, device and system for feeding and transferring small-piece products

Abstract

The present invention relates to a device and a method for feeding and transferring small products to a downstream device (PD), in particular a packaging device, as well as a system for feeding, transferring, and processing, in particular packaging, small products. To improve packaging quality with varying product dimensions (tolerances), the products are conveyed, according to the invention, on a conveyor belt (FB) to a transfer position where the products are transferred to the downstream device (PD). A dimension of each product perpendicular to the conveyor belt (FB) is detected by a sensing device (HS), and the transfer position of the product is adjusted by an adjustment device based on the detected dimension.
