Abstract

The present invention relates to a shoe with a lacing system comprising at least one shoelace, and a quick-release device for tensioning and holding the shoelace, which includes a spool for winding and tensioning the shoelace and a drive spool for driving the spool. According to the invention, a drive mechanism with a freewheel in one direction of rotation is provided between the spool and the drive spool. This freewheel transmits rotation of the drive spool in one tensioning direction to the spool and, in the opposite direction of rotation, allows the drive spool to rotate freely relative to the spool.
