AI Technical Summary
Existing brake arrangements face challenges in achieving low noise emissions and high efficiency, particularly in suppressing rattling noises and ensuring stable engagement between moving parts.
The brake arrangement features a brake pad carrier with internal teeth and a ring-like driver with external teeth, where elastic clasps supported on the driver are prestressed to clamp the brake pad carrier, generating a restoring force and preventing rattling. The clasps are formed from bent round wire, providing a stable and safe elastic clinging mechanism, and are distributed around the circumference to ensure effective axial displacement and torque transfer.
This design effectively reduces noise emissions by suppressing play between the brake pad carrier and driver, while maintaining high efficiency through stable engagement and automatic braking activation, even in power failures, by utilizing a magnetic system and cost-effective connections.

Abstract
Description
[0001] Brake arrangement
[0002] Description:
[0003] The invention relates to a brake arrangement.
[0004] It is generally known that a brake assembly comprises a brake pad carrier.
[0005] From DE 10 2021 000 397 A1, the closest prior art is a brake arrangement with a spring part punched out of sheet metal.
[0006] A toothed coupling with suspension is known from DE 102006 019 453 A1.
[0007] An electromagnetic brake is known from DE 10 2014 001 474 A1.
[0008] The invention is therefore based on the object of developing a brake arrangement, whereby low noise emissions and high efficiency can be achieved.
[0009] According to the invention, the object is achieved in the brake arrangement according to the features specified in claim 1.
[0010] Important features of the invention in the brake arrangement are that the brake arrangement has a brake pad carrier having internal teeth and a ring-like driver having external teeth, in particular wherein the brake pad carrier is placed with its internal teeth onto the external teeth of the driver, wherein clips supported on the driver are clamped to the brake pad carrier in an elastically prestressed manner, in particular wherein at least two clips are spaced apart by less than 180° in the circumferential direction with respect to the axis of rotation of the driver. The advantage here is that not only can rattling of the teeth against one another be prevented, but an axial restoring effect can also be achieved. This is because upon axial displacement of the brake pad carrier relative to the driver, the clips are axially elastically tensioned and generate a restoring force.
[0011] Preferably, the respective clasp is made from a piece of round wire by simply bending it, in particular by forming five bending angles.
[0012] In an advantageous embodiment, each of the clips has two adjacent leg regions and a respective support region at the end of the respective leg region facing away from the other leg region, in particular wherein the leg regions of each clip together form a semicircular region of the clip. This is advantageous in that the support regions enable elastic clamping to the brake pad carrier. The elastic restoring force can be provided stably and reliably by means of the V-shaped arrangement of the leg regions of the respective clip.
[0013] In an advantageous embodiment, a respective recess, in particular a pocket-shaped recess, is formed on the brake pad carrier, in particular on each of the axial end faces of the brake pad carrier, into which a respective support region of the respective clasp engages. Each clasp has two leg regions whose vertical projections into a plane whose normal direction is aligned parallel to the axial direction form an acute angle, in particular an angle between 10° and 30°, to one another. This is advantageous in that a restoring force can be provided easily and reliably.
[0014] In an advantageous embodiment, the respective support area is oriented tangentially. This is advantageous in that clamping into the brake pad carrier is easy to carry out. In an advantageous embodiment, the two support areas of a respective clip are oriented in opposite directions, in particular with a first of the support areas oriented in the axial direction and the other opposite to the axial direction. It is advantageous in this case that the pocket-shaped recesses can be aligned as a pair. This is because each pocket-shaped recess is assigned another pocket-shaped recess at the same circumferential position on the respective opposite axial end face.
[0015] In an advantageous embodiment, more pocket-shaped recesses are formed on the circumference of the brake pad carrier than there are support areas of the clips.
[0016] The advantage here is that the pocket-shaped recesses can be arranged evenly distributed, but not all of the recesses have clips attached to them.
[0017] In an advantageous design, each of the clips presses into a tooth gap in the external toothing of the driver. The advantage here is that the brake pad carrier is displaced in such a way that the play between the driver and the brake pad carrier is suppressed.
[0018] In an advantageous embodiment, the pocket-shaped recesses are arranged radially outside the internal toothing of the brake pad carrier. This is advantageous because the clip is clamped radially outward and presses radially inward.
[0019] In an advantageous embodiment, the radial distance range covered by the respective clasp, particularly with respect to the rotational axis of the driver, comprises the radial distance range covered by the internal toothing of the brake pad carrier, in particular, and the radial distance range covered by the external toothing of the driver. It is advantageous that the clasp radially bridges the toothings.
[0020] In an advantageous embodiment, the clips are arranged distributed over a circumferential angular range of less than 270°, in particular less than 120°. This is advantageous in that the resulting total force displaces the brake pad carrier toward the driver. In an advantageous embodiment, the number of clips in the brake arrangement is two or three. This is advantageous in that the resulting total force generated by the clips has a preferred direction and displaces the brake pad carrier toward the driver in this direction.
[0021] In an advantageous embodiment, the circumferential angular area covered by the respective pocket-shaped recess also has a further, in particular axially spaced, pocket-shaped recess. This is advantageous in that a pair of recesses can always be arranged at the same circumferential position, in particular on the axially front and axially rear end faces of the brake pad carrier.
[0022] In an advantageous embodiment, the driver is connected to a shaft, in particular to a rotor shaft, in a form-fitting manner, in particular by means of a keyway connection, in particular with the driver being mounted on the shaft. This advantageously allows the braking torque to be transmitted from the driver to the shaft via a cost-effective, high-performance connection.
[0023] In an advantageous embodiment, the brake arrangement has a magnetic body in which a winding is accommodated, in particular wherein the winding is a ring winding which is aligned coaxially with the driver and its axis of rotation, wherein a ferromagnetic armature disk is arranged axially between the magnetic body and the brake pad carrier, wherein the armature disk is arranged in a rotationally fixed and axially displaceable manner with respect to the magnetic body, in particular by means of bolts which protrude through the armature disk and are connected to the magnetic body, wherein a braking surface is arranged on the side of the brake pad carrier axially facing away from the armature disk, wherein spring elements supported on the magnetic body press on the armature disk, in particular so that when the winding is not energized, the armature disk is pressed onto the braking surface by the spring elements and when the winding is energized, the armature disk is drawn towards the magnetic body,In particular, the braking surface is formed on a bearing flange of an electric motor connected to the magnetic body. The advantage here is that the brake engages automatically in the event of a power failure.
[0024] In an advantageous embodiment, the driver is made of cast iron or steel, and / or the brake pad carrier comprises a material that is softer than the driver material, in particular, the brake pad carrier comprises a plastic or synthetic resin. This is advantageous in that rattling noise can be reduced.
[0025] In an advantageous embodiment, the respective clasp is formed from a round wire by bending, in particular wherein the respective clasp has two legs which are formed at an acute angle to one another, in particular wherein a first support region which projects in the axial direction is connected to a first of the two legs, and wherein a second support region is connected to the second leg which is attached to the second leg and projects counter to the axial direction, in particular wherein the legs extend in the radial direction and the two support regions are aligned tangentially. The advantage here is that the bending of the round wire is very simple and cost-effective.
[0026] In an advantageous embodiment, the bending area, which has the acute angle and is arranged between the two legs, adjacent to the two legs, and in particular connects the two legs, protrudes into and / or presses into a tooth gap in the external toothing of the driver. The advantage here is that the bending angle engages the external toothing, thus requiring only a suitable bending of the round wire.
[0027] In an advantageous embodiment, the two support regions are aligned antiparallel to each other. Thus, the first wire end of the round wire is arranged at the first support region, and the second wire end of the round wire is arranged at the end of the second support region facing away from the first wire end in the tangential direction.
[0028] Further advantages emerge from the dependent claims. The invention is not limited to the combination of features in the claims. Further possible combinations of claims and / or individual claim features and / or features of the description and / or the figures will become apparent to those skilled in the art, particularly from the problem and / or the problem posed by comparison with the prior art.
[0029] The invention will now be explained in more detail using schematic illustrations:
[0030] Figure 1 shows a side view of a brake pad carrier 3 with clips 1 of a first electromagnetically actuated brake according to the invention.
[0031] A corresponding cross-section is shown in Figure 2.
[0032] Figure 3 shows a corresponding oblique view.
[0033] Figure 4 shows a corresponding longitudinal section.
[0034] In Figure 5, the clasp 1 is shown in a first oblique view.
[0035] In Figure 6, the clasp 1 is shown in a different oblique view.
[0036] Figure 7 shows a side view of another lining carrier 3.
[0037] Figure 8 shows an oblique view corresponding to Figure 7.
[0038] As shown in Figures 1 to 6, the brake pad carrier 3 has an internal toothing which engages with the external toothing of a ring-like driver 4 which is placed on a shaft and is positively connected to the shaft by means of a key connection.
[0039] The shaft is preferably a rotor shaft of an electric motor.
[0040] The brake pad carrier 3 is arranged to be axially movable relative to the driver 4, since the teeth can move relative to each other.
[0041] A winding is housed in a magnetic body (not shown in the figures). When energized, a ferromagnetic armature disk, which is non-rotatably connected to the magnetic body and arranged to be axially movable relative to the magnetic body, is attracted to the magnetic body, particularly counter to the force exerted by spring elements supported on the magnetic body, which press against the armature disk. When the winding is deenergized, the spring elements press the armature disk toward the brake pad carrier, so that the brake pad carrier is then pressed, on its side facing away from the armature disk, onto a braking surface, which is preferably formed on a bearing flange of the electric motor.
[0042] Pockets are provided on the axial end faces of the brake pad carrier 3, into which support areas (50, 51) of the clip 1 engage.
[0043] The clasp 1 is formed from a round wire by bending and has two legs (52, 53) which are formed at an acute angle to each other.
[0044] A first support region 51 is connected to the first leg 52 and projects in the axial direction.
[0045] A second support region 50 is connected to the second leg 53, which is attached to the second leg 53 and projects in the opposite direction to the axial direction.
[0046] The legs (52, 53) extend predominantly in a radial direction. The support areas 50 and 51 are essentially oriented tangentially.
[0047] The armature disc is arranged axially between the brake pad carrier and the magnet body.
[0048] Due to an elastic preload, the clip 1 clamps onto the brake pad carrier 3, in particular due to the support areas 50 and 51 engaging in the pockets 2 cut out on the axial end faces of the brake pad carrier 3. In addition, the area of the clip furthest away from the support areas 50 and 51 presses radially inwards onto the driver 4. In this way, on the one hand, a rattling noise, which would arise between the brake pad carrier 3 and the driver 4 in the event of speed fluctuations, is prevented, since the play between the brake pad carrier 3 and the driver 4 is suppressed by the clip 1. In addition, an axial restoring force is generated by means of the clip, since upon axial displacement of the brake pad carrier 3 relative to the driver 4, the clip 1 is tensioned in the axial direction. This is because the clip 1 presses radially on the driver 4 and does not lose contact with the driver 4 during displacement but is connected to the driver 4 by means of static friction.
[0049] The displacement is caused by the spring elements pushing the brake pad carrier toward the braking surface when the winding is de-energized. When energized, the armature disk is retracted, specifically away from the brake pad carrier 3, which can then freewheel from the braking surface. The clasp 1 supports the freewheeling process through the elastic restoring force it generates.
[0050] The magnetic body is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the braking surface or to the bearing flange on which the braking surface is formed.
[0051] When viewed axially toward the clasp, the two legs (52, 53) form an acute angle to each other, in particular an angle between 10° and 30°. In particular, the vertical projection of the two legs (52, 53) into a plane whose normal direction is aligned parallel to the axial direction thus forms this acute angle.
[0052] What is important in the invention, however, is that not just one, but two or more clips 1, which are identical to one another, are inserted on the circumference, in particular at the same radial distance.
[0053] The clamps 1 are arranged distributed over a circumferential angle of less than 270°, in particular less than 240°. In this way, the clamps 1 each exert radial pressure, so that the brake pad carrier 3 presses on the driver 4 in a position rotated 180° in the circumferential direction relative to the center of gravity of the clamps 1.
[0054] Preferably, two clips 1 are provided at an angular distance of 120° from each other on the circumference of the driver 4.
[0055] However, as shown in Figures 7 and 8, three clips can also be arranged over an angular range of 180°, so that the brake pad carrier 3 presses on the driver 4 at the position opposite the middle clip 1.
[0056] Increased stability can be achieved through the acute angle. In further embodiments of the invention, more than three clips are distributed around the circumference. For example, with N clips, the clips are distributed over a circumferential angular range of less than 270°, in particular less than 180°.
