Description

Technical field of the invention

[0001] The invention belongs to the field of sports equipment. The invention relates to a ski or walking pole comprising a shaft and a basket removably attached to the shaft. State of the prior art

[0002] For various sports such as downhill skiing, Nordic skiing, Nordic walking, and mountain running, ski or walking poles are used to support the athlete on the ground. Ski or walking poles are used for balance and also to provide a push that allows for more efficient movement.

[0003] When a ski or walking pole is used on soft terrain, such as snowy surfaces, the lower end is fitted with a basket, also called a "roundel", to prevent the ski or walking pole from sinking too deeply into the ground or snow. The shape of these baskets is generally adapted to the type of practice and the type of terrain on which one is moving. Thus, when the terrain is very soft, for example when progressing on a field of powder snow, it is preferable to use a basket with a large support portion. Conversely, when the terrain is harder, for example when progressing on a field of hard snow, a basket with a small support portion is sufficient.

[0004] In order to allow users to adapt the size and / or shape of the basket, ski or walking poles are known which are provided with a removably attached basket. The user can thus select and attach a basket adapted to their practice and / or adapted to the type of terrain encountered. Publication EP3318309A1 discloses, for example, such a ski pole.

[0005] However, known ski or walking poles have drawbacks. In particular, the baskets are generally quite complex to install or remove. In particular, since the basket of a ski or walking pole is highly exposed to shocks, friction, scratches, and projections of various particles, it often happens that it becomes seized on its attachment interface and is ultimately very difficult, if not impossible, to remove. Thus, users generally give up changing the basket of their ski or walking pole, and their sporting practice is not completely satisfactory. Alternatively, the various mechanical stresses exerted against the basket can also lead to damage, or even breakage, of the attachment interface between the basket and the ski or walking pole. It thus happens that baskets are lost in nature, which makes the ski or walking pole unusable on soft terrain. Presentation of the invention

[0006] The aim of the invention is to provide a ski or walking pole which overcomes the above drawbacks and improves the ski or walking poles known from the prior art.

[0007] More specifically, a first object of the invention is a ski or walking pole comprising a basket which is both reliably held and easy to install and uninstall. Summary of the invention

[0009] The attachment interface may comprise at least one elastic tab comprising said elastic element and said first retaining surface.

[0010] The at least one elastic leg may extend from said body parallel to the first axis towards the lower end of the ski or walking pole.

[0011] The at least one resilient tab may comprise a resilient hinge and a retaining tooth, the retaining tooth comprising said first retaining surface, the retaining tooth being connected to the body via the resilient hinge.

[0012] The ski or walking pole may comprise a retaining tooth comprising said first retaining surface, the retaining tooth further comprising a bearing surface intended to be pressed by a user to dissociate the basket from the binding interface, the basket comprising at least one window through which the bearing surface is accessible.

[0013] The basket may comprise a bearing portion and a tubular portion arranged above the bearing portion, the tubular portion surrounding the attachment interface, said window being formed in the tubular portion.

[0014] The window can be positioned above the support portion.

[0015] The tubular portion may include a central keyhole-shaped opening.

[0016] The support surface can be configured to be pressed with the thumb of the hand.

[0017] The ski or walking pole may further comprise a means for locking the basket in rotation relative to the fixing interface around said first axis.

[0018] The fixing interface may comprise a collar forming a stop for the basket along said first axis, the elastic element extending from this collar.

[0019] The attachment interface may include a single elastic tab having a single elastic element and a single retaining surface.

[0020] The fixing interface can be a single-piece element manufactured by plastic injection. The basket can be a single-piece element manufactured by plastic injection. Presentation of figures

The figure 6 is a perspective view of a ski or walking pole according to a second embodiment of the invention, the ski or walking pole comprising a fixing interface and a basket fixed to the fixing interface. The figure 7is a perspective view of the ski or walking pole of the figure 6 , the basket being separated from the fixing interface. The figure 8 is a sectional view of the ski or walking pole of the figure 6 , the basket being fixed to the fixing interface. Detailed description

[0022] THE figures 1 And 2illustrate a ski or walking pole 1 according to a first embodiment of the invention. The ski or walking pole 1 is intended for skiing or walking. The term “ski pole” means a pole intended for any form of skiing, in particular downhill skiing, cross-country skiing or monoskiing. The term “walking pole” means a pole intended for any form of walking, in particular Nordic walking, mountain walking, and even running. In all cases, the ski or walking pole 1 is a sports accessory in a natural environment allowing its user to balance by pressing on the ground and / or to transmit an impulse to the ground to move forward. The ski or walking pole thus includes a resistance adapted to withstand significant forces, at least equal to the weight of its user. The ski or walking pole also includes resistance adapted to withstand the shocks, friction and temperatures inherent in skiing or walking.

[0023] The ski or walking pole comprises a rod 2 extending along a first axis Z. It is assumed that the first axis Z is parallel to the vertical axis. In this document, the terms "above", "below", "lower" and "upper" refer to an arrangement along the vertical axis. On the figure 1 , the first Z axis is oriented from bottom to top.

[0024] Conventionally, the rod 2 comprises an upper end (not shown), advantageously provided with a handle, and a lower end intended to rest on the ground.

[0025] The rod 2 may be a tubular element, for example made of aluminum or carbon. The ski or walking pole 1 further comprises a fixing interface 3 fixedly attached to the lower end of the rod 2. The ski or walking pole 1 also comprises a basket 4 removably attached to the fixing interface 3.

[0026] The fixing interface 3 may in particular be glued to the lower end of the rod 2. The fixing interface 3 is not intended to be detached from the rod 2 during ordinary use of the ski or walking pole 1. Nevertheless, the fixing interface 3 may be detached from the rod during a repair operation. The fixing interface 3 may for example be glued to the rod 2 by means of an adhesive. This adhesive may be capable of dissolving or softening when brought to a sufficient temperature, thus allowing the removal of the fixing interface 3 from the lower end of the rod. Thus, it is understood that the fixing interface 3 is not intended to be detached from the rod during ordinary use of the ski or walking pole, in particular during sporting activity.

[0027] The fixing interface 3 may further support a tip (not shown), preferably rigid, and intended to come into direct contact with the ground. The tip may be, for example, a metal tip or a carbide tip. Advantageously, the fixing interface 3 comprises a means for fixing this tip. As can be seen in the Figure 5 , this fixing means may comprise a central housing or opening 12 in which this point is fitted.

[0028] The basket 4 is an element for supporting itself on soft ground. For this purpose, the basket 4 comprises a support portion 6 extending radially. The support portion 6 can extend at least roughly horizontally when the rod 2 extends vertically. By "roughly horizontally" it is understood that the support portion can also extend along a portion which is not perfectly flat but for example concave or convex. The support portion 6 can for example extend along a portion of a sphere, as can be seen in the figures 1 And 2, or even in any other curved shape. The support portion 6 may be solid, as shown in the figures, or alternatively be openwork. Generally speaking, the support portion comprises a projection in the plane perpendicular to the first axis Z of sufficient surface area to bear on soft ground. The surface area of the support portion 6 may be more or less large depending on the type of ground used.

[0029] There figure 3allows the shape of the support portion 6 to be clearly visualized in projection in a plane perpendicular to the first axis Z. In this case, the support portion 6 extends radially backward from the fixing interface 3, but not forward. The front and the rear are defined according to the direction of progression of a user of the ski or walking pole. The rear is therefore the opposite side towards which the user moves. The support portion 6 may in particular comprise a trapezoidal-shaped contour whose sides are rounded. Alternatively, any other shape of support surface could be envisaged. The support surface could, for example, have a circular shape and the rod 2 could be aligned with a center of this circular shape.

[0030] As we will see in more detail later, the basket 4 is removably attached to the attachment interface 3. By "removably", we understand that the basket 4 is reversibly attached to the attachment interface 3. The operations of assembling and disassembling the basket at the attachment interface can be carried out easily, quickly, without any particular tool, and without damaging the attachment interface 3 or the basket 4. These operations can thus be repeated many times during a practice session or between each practice session.

[0031] The fixing interface 3 comprises an elastic tab 7 provided with a first retaining surface 8. The basket 4 comprises a second retaining surface 9 cooperating with the first retaining surface 8 to retain the basket 4 on the fixing interface 3, itself linked to the rod 2 along the first axis Z. The retaining surfaces 8 and 9 are therefore intended to bear against each other to prevent the basket 4 and the fixing interface 3 from being unintentionally disassembled.

[0032] The elasticity of the elastic tab 7 allows the two retaining surfaces 8 and 9 to be released from each other, which allows the basket 4 to be disassembled from the fixing interface following a pressure on the elastic tab. By "elastic", it is understood that the elastic tab 7 is capable and intended to deform to secure or detach the basket 4 from the fixing interface 3. The elastic tab 7 can therefore be in a so-called "rest" configuration which corresponds to its natural position when no force is applied against it, and a so-called "stressed" or "flexed" configuration which corresponds to a deformed position of the elastic tab under the effect of a force applied against it. In the rest configuration, the first retaining surface 8 is positioned opposite the second retaining surface 9 to hold the basket 4. In the stressed configuration, the first retaining surface 8 is spaced from the second retaining surface 9.It is therefore understood that the first retaining surface 8 is movable between two distinct positions thanks to the elasticity of the elastic tab 7. Conversely, the second retaining surface 9 is not intended to be moved relative to the body of the basket 4.

[0033] The force required to move the elastic tab 7 from its rest configuration to its bent configuration is both large enough to avoid unwanted movement of the elastic tab, and small enough to be able to be exerted by any user, preferably with a single finger. This force may be, for example, of the order of a few Newtons.

[0034] The deformation of the elastic tab 7 between its rest configuration and its bent configuration is a non-permanent deformation. The elastic tab is able to automatically return to its rest configuration when the force applied against the elastic tab ceases. The elastic tab is also configured to undergo a large number of flexions between its rest configuration and its bent configuration without breaking. On the figure 4 , the elastic tab 7 in the rest configuration is illustrated with a solid line outline and the elastic tab in the bent configuration 7' is illustrated with a dotted outline.

[0035] Contrary to popular belief, it has been discovered that it is preferable to integrate an elastic tab into the attachment interface, which is secured to the rod 2, rather than onto the basket itself. Such an arrangement has several advantages. Firstly, it allows easier manipulation of the elastic tab 7 to perform the operation of detaching the basket by a simple push. In addition, since the basket 4 does not include any elastic paste, it is easier to manufacture. The materials envisaged for the manufacture of the basket can be chosen from a wider range of materials. For example, a material that is particularly resistant to abrasion, or rigid, can be chosen, without seeking to obtain a certain elasticity. Each basket is thus simpler and easier to produce. A ski or walking pole can thus be offered in the form of a kit comprising several interchangeable baskets 4, each of these baskets 4 being easy to manufacture.

[0036] In particular, according to the first embodiment, which is illustrated in the figures 1 to 5 , the fixing interface 3 comprises a single elastic tab 7. The fixing interface 3 is thus fairly simple to manufacture and nevertheless offers sufficiently effective retention of the basket 4.

[0037] In reference to the figures 4 And 5, the fixing interface 3 comprises a tubular body 10. The body 10 comprises a first central opening 11, blind, the entrance of which is turned upwards, and extending parallel to the first axis Z. The lower end of the rod 2 is fitted into the first central opening 11. The fixing of the fixing interface to the rod can optionally be secured by means of an adhesive, as explained previously. The body 10 also comprises a second central opening 12, blind, the entrance of which is turned downwards, and extending parallel to the first axis Z. The tip of the ski or walking pole is fitted into the second central opening 12. The fixing of the tip to the fixing interface 3 can also be secured by means of an adhesive.

[0038] According to an alternative embodiment (not shown), the body 10 could be provided with a single central opening, not blind. The rod could then pass through this single central opening, said tip being supported directly by the lower end of the rod.

[0039] The body 10 of the fixing interface 3 also comprises a collar 13. The collar 13 is arranged at the upper end of the fixing interface 3. The collar 13 forms a stop for the basket along the first axis Z. When the user pushes the rod into soft ground, an upward reaction force occurs on the basket 4. This reaction force is supported by the collar 13, which prevents the basket 4 from rising and forcing on the elastic tab 7.

[0040] The elastic tab 7 extends downwards from the collar 13. The elastic tab 7 comprises an elastic hinge 14 and a retaining tooth 15. The retaining tooth 15 is connected to the body 10, and in particular to the collar 13, via the elastic hinge 14. The retaining tooth 15 comprises said first retaining surface 8. The retaining surface 8 is thus connected to the body 10 via an elastic element which, in this case, is the elastic hinge 14. The retaining tooth 15 also comprises a bearing surface 16 intended to be pressed by a user to dissociate the basket from the fixing interface. The elastic tab 7 extends at a non-zero distance from the body 10.Advantageously, the radial distance D1 separating the end of the elastic tab 7 from the body 10 is both sufficiently large to allow the two retaining surfaces 8 and 9 to be completely offset, and at the same time sufficiently small so that the elastic tab 7 can come into contact with the body 10 without breaking or becoming permanently deformed.

[0041] The elastic tab 7 is therefore intended to be manipulated by pressure on the support surface 16 and not by any traction. A pushing action is easier to perform, particularly when the hand is numb and / or when wearing gloves.

[0042] Advantageously, the bearing surface 16 has a bearing surface large enough to be manipulated by a user, in particular with the thumb, even if this user is wearing gloves. The bearing surface may preferably be greater than or equal to 0.5 cm2.

[0043] Advantageously, the support surface 16 comprises a curve facilitating the extraction of the basket as soon as the retaining surfaces 8 and 9 are disengaged from each other. Indeed, when a user presses on the support surface 16, the elastic tab 7 pivots around its elastic hinge 14 and the upper edge of the support surface 16 is positioned in support against a vertical wall of the basket 4. The curve of the support surface 16 then induces a force on the basket 4 which tends to automatically move the basket 4 downwards. This facilitates its extraction from the fixing interface 3. The extraction of the basket 4 can be obtained in a single gesture, by simply pressing on the support surface 16.

[0044] Furthermore, the body 10 of the fixing interface 3 advantageously comprises a lower portion 17 of truncated cone shape, which facilitates the insertion of the basket 4 around the body 10.

[0045] The basket 4 comprises not only the support portion 6 described above, but also a tubular portion 18 arranged above the support portion 6. The tubular portion 18 surrounds the fixing interface 3. The tubular portion 18 of the basket 4 thus comprises a third central opening 19 inside which the fixing interface 3 is engaged. The third central opening 19 is a through opening, that is to say it comprises an inlet and an outlet. When the basket 4 is assembled to the fixing interface 3, the lower end of the fixing interface 3 protrudes from the third central opening 19.

[0046] According to an alternative embodiment not shown, the central opening 19 could not be a through opening but a blind opening open only upwards. Thus, the lower end of the ski or walking pole 1 would be formed directly by the basket 4. The basket would then combine the function of providing a support portion for moving on soft terrain, but also a function of contact interface with the ground. The basket could then carry a point or any other type of tip capable of coming into contact with the ground, for example a tip made of rubber or an equivalent flexible material. In such a hypothesis, it could also be conceived that the basket no longer comprises the support portion 6 but only a tip intended to come into contact with the ground. Thus, in the present invention, the term "basket" preferably designates any accessory capable of being fixed to the lower end of the rod 2 and adapted to stabilize or transmit an impulse on the ground for the practice of skiing or walking. According to yet another alternative embodiment, the basket 4 could be simply intended to cover the tip secured to the fixing interface. According to this alternative, the basket would then serve only as a protective element, for example for the purpose of transporting the ski or walking pole without risk and / or placing it on the shelf of a store without risk. This is particularly useful when the tip of the ski or walking pole is very tapered.

[0047] According to the embodiment presented, the third central opening 19 has a keyhole shape, that is to say a shape composed of a circular part 20 (intended to receive the body 10) and a radial extension 21 (intended to receive the elastic tab 7). This makes it possible to ensure the assembly of the basket 4 to the fixing interface 3 in a single orientation. It can thus be ensured that the support portion 6 is correctly oriented. This is particularly useful when the ski or walking pole 1 comprises a handle and / or a strap which requires the user to grasp the ski or walking pole in a specific orientation. Thus, the support portion 6 of the basket 4 remains correctly oriented relative to the handle. When putting the basket 4 in place, the user instantly sees what the correct orientation of the basket is relative to the fixing interface. Thus, the clipping of the basket 4 onto the interface 3 can only be done in one orientation of the basket 4, due to its shape.

[0048] Advantageously, the collar 13 has an external contour matching the shape of the contour of the third central opening 19. Thus, the collar discreetly covers the tubular portion 18. In addition, there is thus a relatively large support surface between the collar 13 and the tubular portion 18.

[0049] The tubular portion 18 of the basket 4 also comprises a window 22 through which the support surface 16 is accessible. The window 22 has dimensions substantially equal to the dimensions of the support surface 16. In this case, the window 22 has a generally rectangular shape. The window 22 is positioned above the support portion 6. Thus, the support surface 16 is unlikely to be actuated involuntarily, for example following the impact of the ski or walking pole 1 against a relief, the latter being protected by the support portion 6 of the basket.

[0050] The ski or walking pole 1 further comprises a means for locking the basket 4 in rotation relative to the fixing interface around the first axis Z. As can be seen in the figures 2 And 4, the rotation locking means can be formed by a rib 23 integral with the body 10 of the fixing interface 3, cooperating with a groove 24 formed in the tubular portion 18 of the basket 4. The rib 23 and the groove 24 extend parallel to the first axis Z. This prevents the basket 4 from pivoting around the fixing interface, which could exert significant stresses on the elastic tab 7. This locking means is added to the locking means described previously, resulting from the keyhole shape of the third central opening 19, formed of a circular part 20 and a radial extension 21.

[0051] According to different embodiment variants not shown, the rotation locking means could be produced differently. For example, the rib could be formed in the tubular portion 18 while the groove would be formed in the body 10. The rotation locking means could also be obtained by any other correspondence of non-circular shapes, for example by providing a flat in the body. According to yet another embodiment variant, the rotation locking means could be formed directly by the elastic tab bearing on the edges of the radial extension 21 of the third central opening 19. In this case, the elastic tab 7 would be likely to undergo torsional forces and would be sized accordingly.

[0052] Advantageously, the fixing interface 3 and the basket 4 can each be a single piece, for example obtained by plastic injection. The ski or walking pole is thus simple and economical to manufacture. When the fixing interface is obtained by injection of plastic into a mold, the elasticity of the elastic tab 7 is then obtained by choosing a suitable plastic material and dimensions of the elastic tab.

[0053] Alternatively, the fixing interface could be made differently: the retaining tooth 15 carrying the retaining surface 8 could for example be an element separate from the body 10 of the fixing interface 3, and connected to the body 10 by means of an elastic element. The elastic element can then comprise a first end secured to the body 10 and a second end secured to the retaining tooth 15. The elastic element connecting the retaining tooth 15 to the body 10 could for example be a helical compression spring, or a leaf spring, or even a rubber element. According to this embodiment, the retaining tooth 15 could take the form of a push button movable relative to the body. In this hypothesis the body could advantageously comprise a means for guiding the push button. In all cases, the retaining surface 8 remains attached to the body 10 of the fixing interface 3 by means of an elastic element.

[0054] According to another variant, an elastic element could also be used in combination with the elastic tab 7 as previously described, in order to support and / or limit the bending of the elastic tab.

[0055] To assemble the basket 4 to the fixing interface 3, it is sufficient to engage the body 10 of the fixing interface in the third central opening 19 of the basket 4, ensuring that the radial extension 21 is positioned opposite the elastic tab 7. Then, it is sufficient to push the basket 4 upwards to automatically flex the elastic tab 7. The elastic tab 7 flexes automatically upon contact with the inner wall of the third central opening 19 of the basket. The elastic tab 7 relaxes automatically when the bearing surface 16 is positioned opposite the window 22. The basket is thus locked in position and the ski or walking pole is ready for use. A single action is sufficient to place the basket 4 on the ski or walking pole 1

[0056] To disassemble the basket 4 from the fixing interface 3, it is sufficient to press, for example with the thumb, on the support surface 16. The basket 4 then descends automatically. Similarly, a single action is sufficient to remove the basket 4 from the ski or walking pole 1. In the event that the basket 4 is slightly seized around the body 10, for example due to the accumulation of particles, it may be useful to pull on the basket along the first Z axis while pressing on the support surface 16. This operation nevertheless remains very easy to carry out.

[0057] THE figures 6 , 7 And 8illustrate a ski or walking pole 101 according to a second embodiment of the invention. The ski or walking pole 101 is distinguished from the ski or walking pole 1 in that its attachment interface 103 comprises not a single elastic tab but two separate elastic tabs 107A, 107B. The two elastic tabs 107A, 107B are diametrically opposed and positioned respectively to the left and right of a body 110 of the attachment interface 103, the left and right being defined according to the user's point of view. The tubular portion 118 of the basket 104 comprises two windows 122A, 122B through which the bearing surfaces of the two elastic tabs 107A, 107B are accessible. The operation of disassembling the basket 104 at the fixing interface 103 is carried out by pressing the two elastic tabs 107A, 107B towards each other, for example with the thumb and index finger. This configuration can allow a better distribution of the forces on the two elastic legs 107A, 107B, and therefore a better hold of the basket 104 on the interface 103, and greater durability over time.
