Description

[0001] The invention relates to a smoke extraction device according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

[0002] A smoke extraction device of the type mentioned above is known from patent document DE 10 2018 120 280 A1. It consists of a frame, a smoke extraction damper pivotably mounted on the frame, an actuating device designed to pivot the smoke extraction damper relative to the frame, and a mushroom-head locking mechanism designed to close the smoke extraction damper relative to the frame in a smoke-tight manner (see paragraph

[0016] therein together with https: / / de.wikipe-dia.org / w / index.php?title=Pilzkopfverriegelung&oldid=227924489 ), which has mushroom-head-shaped pins arranged on one end face of the smoke extraction damper and a drive for actuating the pins on a main side of the smoke extraction damper. This solution provides for the actuating device to have a chain drive, and the mushroom-head locking mechanism to have a pin operatively connected to the chain drive.Further details on this solution, which is not shown in the drawing, are not provided in the document in question.

[0003] The invention is based on the object of improving a smoke extraction device of the type mentioned above. In particular, the smoke tightness and pressure stability of the smoke extraction damper in the closed state are to be improved. This object is achieved with a smoke extraction device of the type mentioned above by the features listed in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.

[0004] According to the invention, it is therefore provided that the drive has a linearly movable actuator which operates mechanically independently of the actuating device and which interacts with one of the pins through an opening in the drive-side main side of the smoke extraction damper for locking or unlocking the smoke extraction damper.

[0005] In other words, the solution according to the invention is characterized in that the locking or unlocking of the smoke extraction damper is not carried out by the actuating device for pivoting the smoke extraction damper, but by a separate actuator which is more effective with regard to the closing force requirements.

[0006] Other advantageous developments of the smoke extraction device according to the invention emerge from the dependent patent claims.

[0007] For the sake of completeness, reference is also made to document DE 20 2012 013 340 U1, which, however, only provides a simple lock and no mushroom-head locking mechanism for smoke-tight closure of the smoke extraction damper to the frame. Reference is also made to documents DE 20 2012 001 475 U1 and EP 1 323 885 A2.

[0008] The invention relates to a smoke extraction device comprising a frame, a smoke extraction damper pivotably mounted on the frame, an actuating device designed to pivot the smoke extraction damper relative to the frame and a mushroom head lock designed to close the smoke extraction damper relative to the frame in a smoke-tight manner, which has mushroom head-shaped pins arranged on an end face of the smoke extraction damper and a drive for actuating the pins on a main side of the smoke extraction damper, wherein the drive has a linearly movable actuator which operates mechanically independently of the actuating device and interacts with one of the pins through an opening in the drive-side main side of the smoke extraction damper.

[0009] The teaching according to the invention achieves the advantage that the pivoting of the smoke extraction damper and the smoke-tight closing of the smoke extraction damper are functionally separated from one another and can be carried out and controlled reliably and independently of one another by means of specialised actuating devices.

[0010] It has also been shown that a common device for pivoting and closing the smoke extraction damper with a single actuating device is often insufficient to keep the smoke extraction damper closed and smoke-tight. There is often a pressure difference between a corridor-side position in front of a closed smoke extraction damper and a shaft-side position behind a closed smoke extraction damper, making it difficult to keep the smoke extraction damper closed and smoke-tight with a pivoting device. The proposed separate closing device proves to be an advantageous further development. According to a first exemplary embodiment, the opening in the drive-side main side of the smoke extraction damper is designed as a linear guide for the actuator.

[0011] This design has the advantage that the actuator is guided linearly and thus has a more reliable interaction with the mushroom-head-shaped pin and improved positioning accuracy.

[0012] According to a further exemplary embodiment, the frame has a locking piece that interacts with the pin as a mushroom head lock.

[0013] This design has the advantage that the pin interacts with the locking piece and a mushroom head lock is formed between the smoke extraction damper and the frame.

[0014] According to a further exemplary embodiment, the smoke extraction damper has a closing rail that interacts with the pin.

[0015] This design has the advantage that the actuating force of the actuator is transferred to the movable closing rail by means of the pin and the smoke extraction damper can be better locked by means of the closing rail.

[0016] According to a further exemplary embodiment, the locking rail has several pins that interact with locking pieces as a mushroom head lock.

[0017] This design has the advantage of providing a plurality of pins for locking the smoke extraction damper. The smoke extraction damper has a locking rail movably mounted on the front face, on which the pins are located. Thus, when a pin is actuated, the locking rail creates a mushroom-head locking mechanism between the pins arranged on the locking rail and the locking pieces arranged on the frame.

[0018] According to another exemplary design, the drive is arranged on the shaft side of the smoke extraction damper.

[0019] This design has the advantage that the drive device of the smoke extraction damper and the electrical cables for supplying the drive device are not arranged in a corridor-side position and are protected against contact and damage.

[0020] According to a further exemplary embodiment, the drive has a locking motor and a locking gear.

[0021] This design has the advantage that the smoke extraction damper is self-locking and remains in position without the need to control the motor.

[0022] According to a further exemplary embodiment, the locking motor and the locking gear are arranged in a mounting block.

[0023] This design has the advantage that the motor and the gearbox form a closed and mechanically protected assembly.

[0024] According to another exemplary embodiment, the pivot axis of the smoke extraction damper is arranged vertically.

[0025] This design has the advantage that pivoting the smoke extraction damper is easier and requires less holding force when open. A smoke extraction damper with a vertical pivot axis can also be opened more easily manually in an emergency.

[0026] According to another exemplary embodiment, the smoke extraction damper has a sealing element.

[0027] This design has the advantage that improved smoke tightness is achieved by applying a suitable contact pressure between the smoke extraction damper and the frame. The sealing element is preferably arranged circumferentially and on the floor side in front of the actuator.

[0028] According to a further exemplary embodiment, the actuating device designed to pivot the smoke extraction damper relative to the frame comprises a side-arch chain drive.

[0029] This design has the advantage that, in contrast to roller chains, side bow chains enable a spatial guidance of the chain due to a modified design of the chain joint.

[0030] According to a further exemplary embodiment, the smoke extraction device further comprises a control device which is designed to control the actuating device and / or to control the actuator and is preferably arranged in the actuating device.

[0031] This design has the advantage that the smoke extraction system has a modular structure and can be controlled both centrally and decentrally.

[0032] According to a further exemplary embodiment, the smoke extraction device further comprises a signaling device and / or a network interface which is designed for optical and / or acoustic signaling or for electronic reporting of operating states of the smoke extraction device, in particular an opening and / or closing of the smoke extraction damper, and / or of error states of the smoke extraction device.

[0033] This design has the advantage that the operating status and functionality of the smoke extraction system can be visually and / or acoustically monitored on-site, and fault conditions of individual smoke extraction systems can be identified on-site. Preferably, one or more LEDs or a strip of LEDs are arranged in the area of the smoke extraction damper or frame, and different operating states and / or fault conditions are signaled using different light colors and / or signal sequences.

[0034] According to a further exemplary embodiment, the smoke extraction device further comprises an emergency release which is designed for manually unlocking the smoke extraction damper.

[0035] This design has the advantage that the smoke extraction damper can be opened in an emergency even without a power supply.

[0036] According to a further exemplary design, both the frame and the smoke extraction damper are designed to be mountable from a position on the corridor side.

[0037] The smoke extraction device according to the invention, including its advantageous developments according to the dependent patent claims, is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings of various embodiments.

[0038] It shows Figure 1 shows a schematic representation of a proposed device according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, comprising a drive, a pin, and an actuator extending through an opening in the main side of the smoke extraction damper; and Figure 2 shows a schematic representation of a proposed device according to a further exemplary embodiment of the invention, comprising a smoke extraction damper, a frame, and an actuating device.

[0039] Figure 1shows a schematic representation of a smoke extraction device according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention. The smoke extraction device comprises a locking device 10, a smoke extraction damper 2, a drive 4.2 on the main side 2.1 of the smoke extraction damper 2, an actuator 4.2.1 extending through an opening 2.2 and operatively connected to a mushroom-shaped pin 4.1, a closing rail 4.3 arranged on the front side of the smoke extraction damper 2, and a sealing element 6.

[0040] During a closing process, the smoke extraction damper 2 is first pivoted into the closed position. In the closed position, the smoke extraction damper 2 is locked relative to the frame 1 by means of the locking device 10. Figure 2lockable. For this purpose, actuator 4.2 is provided, which is intended exclusively for locking smoke extraction damper 2 and not for pivoting smoke extraction damper 2 between the open and closed positions.

[0041] In high-rise buildings, high wind loads, temperature differences, and the chimney effect that occurs in the event of a fire lead to high pressure loads on a smoke extraction damper. Combining the pivoting and locking of a smoke extraction damper using a common drive therefore does not appear advantageous. Therefore, the invention proposes providing separate drives for pivoting a smoke extraction damper on the one hand and for locking a smoke extraction damper on the other.

[0042] The actuator 4.2 for locking the smoke extraction damper 2 is configured to actuate the pin 4.1 parallel to the front of the smoke extraction damper 2 by means of the actuator 4.2.1. For this purpose, the actuator 4.2.1 extends through an opening 2.2 in the main side 4.2 of the smoke extraction damper 2 and receives the pin 4.1 there by means of a tongue-shaped receptacle. The opening 2.2 is preferably designed as a linear guide for the actuator 4.2.1.

[0043] The actuation of the pin 4.1 is transmitted to a locking rail 4.3, on which further pins 4.1 are arranged. Locking pieces 5 arranged on the frame 1 in Figure 2 have guide grooves in which the mushroom-shaped pins 4.1 can be locked by a linear movement of the locking rail 4.3 and thus provide a mushroom-head lock.

[0044] Figure 2shows a schematic representation of a smoke extraction device according to another exemplary embodiment of the invention. The smoke extraction device comprises a pivoting device 20, a frame 1, a smoke extraction damper 2, an actuating device 3 (forming the pivoting device 20) for pivoting the smoke extraction damper 2, a mushroom-head lock 4 for locking the smoke extraction damper 2, and a locking device 10 containing the mushroom-head lock 4.

[0045] The actuating device 3 comprises a control device and a network interface for a building network, in particular a bus system, as well as visual and acoustic signaling. Thus, the smoke extraction device can be integrated into a building network, in particular a bus system, connected to a control center or fire alarm control panel, and controlled centrally. If necessary, it can also function decentrally and be monitored via visual and acoustic signaling. In the event of a failure of the central control functions, the smoke extraction device can switch to decentralized operation. List of reference symbols
