Description

[0001] The invention relates to a door leaf with at least one plate element and with a profile element comprising at least one assembly aid for adjusting the distance of a profile element to an end face of a plate element of a door leaf, wherein the profile element is attached to an edge of the plate element.

[0002] For example, EP 2 222 930 B1 discloses an assembly aid for adjusting the distance between a profile element and a panel element of a door leaf, wherein several profile elements are attached to the edges of the panel element. In order to attach the profile element at a defined distance from the end face of the panel element, so-called block rubbers are used, and the block rubbers are inserted into the receiving side of the profile element in order to finally arrange the profile element with the block rubbers on the edge of the panel element, so that a defined distance between the profile element and the panel element is achieved. A defined distance between the profile element and the panel element is necessary, for example, to form an adhesive joint into which an adhesive is introduced to bond the profile element to the edge of the panel element. However, if the distance between the profile element and the plate element is not maintained, an unadjusted distance between the profile element and the plate element can lead to difficulties during the subsequent assembly of the door leaf in the door system, particularly to form a closing edge with another door leaf.

[0003] For example, fittings can be provided on the outer side opposite the receiving side of the profile element, for example, with locking components, to lock the door leaf against another door leaf or against a frame element or casing. Consequently, precise clearances between the profile element and the panel element are required, especially when the outer side of the profile element also forms the closing edge of a leaf element.

[0004] The distance between the profile element and the plate element in the present sense describes the distance, for example, between the base area on an outer side of the profile element and the end face of the plate element.

[0005] Especially when an adhesive is used to bond the profile element to the edge of the panel element, dimensional changes can occur as the adhesive dries, causing, for example, the profile element to bend over a significant distance toward the face of the panel element, or the profile element to twist. During installation, shims are often used to assist in this process. These are inserted into the receiving side of the profile element. The thickness of the shims can be used to adjust the distance between the profile element and the face of the panel element. However, the use of such shims is often associated with difficulties, especially once the profile element has been arranged on the panel element using an adhesive, it is often difficult to exchange the shims of different thicknesses for each other if it is discovered at a later date that a shim of a different thickness is required.

[0006] The object of the invention is to improve a door leaf by means of an assembly aid for adjusting the distance between a profile element and a panel element, in particular to enable an installer to adjust the distance even after the profile element has been arranged on the panel element, in particular using an adhesive. The distance describes the remaining distance between the end face at an edge of the panel element and a surface on the profile element facing away from the end face.

[0007] This object is achieved based on an assembly aid according to the preamble of claim 1 and based on a method having the respective characterizing features. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

[0008] To achieve the aforementioned object, the invention proposes the technical teaching that an adjusting means is arranged on the profile element in such a way that, by initiating an adjusting movement in the adjusting means, this changes the distance between the profile element and the end face of the plate element. In particular, several adjusting means can be arranged on the profile element along its length.

[0009] The advantage of the invention is the improved device of an assembly aid in that one or more adjusting means are arranged on the profile element in such a way that even after the profile element has been arranged and / or pressed onto or against the panel element, in particular after the adhesive has been applied and / or before the adhesive of the profile element has adhered to the edge of the panel element, the adjusting element can be easily operated, in particular from an outer side of the profile element, in order to change the distance between the profile element and the end face of the panel element. The adjusting means allows an installer to initiate an adjustment movement if the adjusting means is designed accordingly.

[0010] The door leaf is preferably part of a door system. In this respect, the invention can also be directed to a door system. The door system can have multiple door leaves. The door leaf can be designed to be both movable and immovable, for example as a fixed leaf. In particular, the door system can be an at least partially or fully automatic door system in which at least the door leaf or at least one movable door leaf can be moved in interaction with an electric motor drive. In particular, the door system can be a sliding door system. In particular, the door system can have a locking mechanism, the at least one locking component of which, in particular a bolt or locking hook or striking plate, is arranged on an outer side of the profile element of the door leaf or engages therewith. In particular, the locking mechanism can be triggered electromechanically. This enables a highly automated door system with improved assembly.

[0011] The panel element is preferably designed as a glass element, in particular as single-pane safety glass or laminated safety glass and / or insulating glass. The panel element can thus be formed from more than one panel. Glass elements have a transparent and space-enlarging effect in the door area. The single-pane safety glass, with its thin design, contributes even further to a room-opening effect. The laminated safety glass has a thermally insulating effect and serves to increase safety. Insulating glass, at least two panes are arranged with a gas layer, in particular an air layer, between them. The thermally insulating effect is particularly advantageous. Mixed forms of the glass types are also possible, which can offer combined advantages.

[0012] Preferably, the adjusting means may comprise a screw element, and the adjusting movement which is introduced into the adjusting means is formed by a rotary movement in the screw element, so that following the rotary movement of the screw element, the distance of the profile element to the end face of the plate element can be adjusted, since an axial movement can be introduced into the screw element by a screw connection of the screw element to the profile element.

[0013] The edge that defines the planar extent of the panel element, to which the profile element is attached lengthwise with its elongated extension, can represent a closing edge, a hinge-side edge, or a top or bottom edge of a door leaf, or the profile element is attached to another panel element, for example a window element, a facade element, a variable facade, or a room divider with one or more movable panel elements. The edge within the meaning of the invention itself has an end face that forms the edge-side closure of the panel element. The distance that can be adjusted using the assembly aid according to the invention therefore relates to the distance between the end face of the edge of the panel element and, for example, a surface facing the end face of the profile element, which surface can be formed by a surface on the receiving side of the profile element. The profile element can laterally encompass the edge of the panel element, so that the relevant distance is somewhat internal. The attachment of such profile elements to door leaves is known, for example, in automatic sliding door systems that have a higher security class, such as security class RC2 or RC3, where locking components can be incorporated into the profile elements. In particular, it is necessary to precisely adjust the closing edge, which requires maintaining the required distance between the end face of the panel element and the profile element.

[0014] The profile element can be designed as a part of a door leaf frame so that a frame for the panel element can be formed.

[0015] The profile element has a receiving side for receiving the plate element, and the profile element has an opposite outer side that can form the closing edge. The adjusting means penetrates the profile element and / or extends through the profile element, in particular from the receiving side to the outer side. The receiving side can form a U-shaped recess in the profile element into which the plate element is inserted.

[0016] The adjusting means, in particular in the form of a screw element, can be screwed into the profile element, wherein the screw element can be operated from the outside, and the adjusting means extends through the entire profile element and acts on the receiving side against the end face of the plate element in order to adjust the distance between the plate element and the profile element in at least indirect contact with the plate element. In this respect, it is essential for the improvement of the assembly aid according to the invention that the adjusting means is accessible from the outside in order to initiate the adjustment movement in the adjusting means from the outside manually or by means of a tool, while the profile element remains arranged on the plate element.

[0017] The adjusting means can be designed, in particular in the form of a screw element, so that it can press directly or at least indirectly against an end face of the plate element. If the adjusting means is designed as a screw element, it can interact with at least one internal thread in or on the profile element. The rotary movement of the screw element causes the screw element to be screwed in and out of the profile element, so that the screw element protrudes from the profile element, for example on the receiving side, and can be brought into contact with the end face of the plate element. It is conceivable that the screw element can press directly against the plate element with an end pointing towards the plate element. For this purpose, the screw element can be made, for example, from a plastic material.

[0018] It is also advantageous if a separate pressing element is configured to press against the end face of the plate element, while the adjusting means is at least directly or indirectly connected to the pressing element. The pressing element is located in particular in the U-shaped recess of the receiving side, and the screw element can be pressed against the pressing element on a side facing away from the plate element or be connected to it by screwing it in toward the pressing element and thus toward the plate element.

[0019] Thus, if the screw element is twisted and the resulting axial displacement occurs, the end of the screw element facing toward the plate element can be displaced. If a forcing element is used, this is pressed toward the plate element by the axial displacement of the screw element. This allows the distance between the profile element and the plate element to be adjusted.

[0020] The pressing element can be connected to the adjusting means, in particular in the form of the screw element, on the inside of the profile by means of a mouthpiece of the pressing element, wherein a pressure plate of the pressing element lies, for example, flat in the receiving side of the profile element.

[0021] Particularly advantageously, a threaded insert is arranged on or in the profile element, into which the adjusting means in the form of a screw element is screwed. Alternatively, it is also conceivable for a thread to be introduced directly into the profile element, into which the adjusting means in the form of a screw element is screwed. The threaded insert can, for example, be a press-in nut, a set nut, a blind rivet nut, or the like, which is inserted into a prepared hole in the profile element.

[0022] The adjusting element in the form of a screw element forms a threaded pin which has a tool insert at one end pointing towards the outside of the profile element, into which, for example, a hexagon socket tool or other screwing tool can be inserted. The end of the threaded pin pointing towards the receiving side of the profile element can be inserted into a mouthpiece that is attached to the forcing element. The mouthpiece of the forcing element protrudes vertically from the pressure plate, which is particularly advantageous. The format of the pressure plate can be adapted, in particular, to the base area in the receiving side of the profile element, so that the pressure plate is, for example, rectangular and, thanks to its flat fit in the receiving width, is also protected against rotation.

[0023] Preferably, the pressure element has a pressure plate on which the mouthpiece is arranged.

[0024] Preferably, at least one projection is formed on the outside of a mouthpiece of the pressing element. This allows the pressing element with the mouthpiece to be inserted into a recess, in particular a bore, in the profile element in a self-retaining manner. This further simplifies assembly.

[0025] Several adjusting elements can be arranged along the length of the profile element. As an alternative to a screw element, the adjusting element can also be a cylindrical pin, for example, which could be axially displaced in some other way. It is also possible for the adjusting element to be attached to the profile element in a rotatable but axially fixed manner, and the adjusting element can, for example, be screwed into the mouthpiece of the forcing element. This allows the forcing element to be displaced toward the end face of the plate element upon rotation of the adjusting element, while the adjusting element itself does not undergo any axial displacement.

[0026] Furthermore, the invention is directed to a method for producing a described door leaf comprising at least the following steps, in particular in the listed order: Applying an adhesive to the profile element and / or the panel element, arranging and / or pressing the profile element on or against the panel element, adjusting the distance between the profile element and the panel element using the assembly aid as described above and adhesion of the adhesive, in particular by drying it.

[0027] In this context, the term "adhesion" refers to the development of the adhesive's bonding effect. The assembly aid can therefore be used, in particular, within the time window after the profile element has been attached to the panel element and the adhesive has fully bonded.

[0028] Advantageous developments of the door leaf and the method are indicated in the description and the figures. Features and details described in connection with the method according to the invention also apply in connection with the door leaf, and vice versa. The features mentioned in the description and in the claims can each be essential to the invention individually or in combination. In particular, a door leaf that can be produced using the method according to the invention is protected. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0029] Further measures improving the invention are described in more detail below, together with the description of a preferred embodiment of the invention, with reference to the figures. It shows: Figure 1 shows a cross-sectional view through two opposing profile elements of door leaves arranged on respective panel elements, Figure 2 shows a view of a fitting arranged on the outside of the profile element, Figure 3 shows the view of the profile element with a mounting aid according to the invention, Figure 4 shows a cross-sectional view through a profile element arranged on a panel element with the representation of the mounting aid according to the invention, Figure 5 shows a representation of a pressing element of the mounting aid, Figure 6 shows a side view of the pressing element, Figure 7 shows the detail X of the pressing element according to the section in Figure 6 , Figure 8a door system with one door leaf.

[0030] Figure 1shows two door leaves facing each other, each with a profile element 10, which is attached to a respective edge 12 of a plate element 11, designed as a glass element, of the respective door leaf. For fastening the profile element 10, an adhesive 22 is shown as an example, which can be applied to the end face S, but alternatively or additionally also laterally between the profile element 10 and the plate element 11. The outer sides 16 of the profile elements 10 facing each other form a closing edge, and when the two door leaves are moved towards each other, the profile elements 10 engage with each other and the door system is closed. Such arrangements of profile elements 10 on the edge 12 of the plate elements 11 are primarily intended for door systems with a higher security class, for example RC2 or RC3, with locking components mounted on the profile element 10, as in Figure 2 shown.

[0031] Figure 2 shows a section of a profile element 10, wherein a fitting 23 is attached to the outer side 16 of the profile element 10. The fitting 23, for example, forms the locking system of the at least one sash element with the latch 24, which makes it clear that the profile element 10 must have an exact distance from the panel element 11, since, for example, the latch 24 requires minimum tolerances in order to engage with an opposing strike plate on the opposite side. In particular, when using adhesives 22 according to Figure 1 It may happen that the profile element 10 has a distance from the end face S that is smaller than necessary for the technical implementation. If the distance is less than this, the bolt 24 of the fitting 23 can no longer engage with the opposite side, for example, with a strike plate of another door leaf or a standing element.

[0032] Figure 3shows a section view of a profile element 10, and an assembly aid 1 is shown inserted into the profile element 10 as an example. Such an assembly aid 1 can be provided multiple times along the length of a profile element 10 in order to adjust the distance of the profile element 10 to the plate element 11 at multiple positions. For this purpose, profile elements 10 are sufficiently elastic, if sufficiently long, to allow for elastic displacement of local sections of the profile element 10.

[0033] Figure 4shows a cross-sectional view of the profile element 10 arranged on a plate element 11, wherein the distance A in the sense of the invention and in this embodiment is defined as the distance between the end face S of the plate element 11 and the base surface in the outer side 16 of the profile element 10. The receiving side 15 serves to receive the plate element 11. If the distance A becomes too small, for example the bolt 24 of the fitting 23 according to Figure 2 on the outside 16 of the profile element 10 no longer engage with the strike plate on the opposite side.

[0034] The assembly aid 1 according to the invention is used for this purpose, which has an adjusting means 13 as an essential element, for example in the form of a screw element 14. The screw element 14 in the form of a threaded pin passes through the profile element 10 from the outer side 16 to the receiving side 15 and is screwed into a threaded insert 18, wherein the threaded insert 18 is pressed into a web of the profile element 10 in the region of the outer side 16.

[0035] The screw element 14 has a tool insert 19, accessible from the outer side 16, for example, in the form of a hexagon socket. This allows the screw element 14 to be set in rotation, causing the screw element 14 to move axially up and down in the image plane, allowing it to be screwed deeper or less deeply into the threaded insert 18.

[0036] At the end pointing towards the plate element 11, a forcing element 17 is arranged in conjunction with the screw element 14, and the further end of the screw element 14 opposite the tool insert 19 is received in the pressure element 17. If the screw element 14 is screwed deeper into the profile element 10 and this consequently moves in the direction of the receiving side 15, the forcing element 17 can come into contact with the end face S of the plate element 11. The distance A can now be increased by further screwing the screw element 14 into the threaded insert 18, in that the forcing element 17 is pressed against the end face S of the plate element 11, and the profile element 10 is thus pressed away from the plate element 11.If, for example, during assembly of the door leaf, the distance A from the profile element 10 to the plate element 11 has been correctly set, the adhesive 22 can dry so that the correctly set state remains as a permanent state.

[0037] Figure 5 shows a perspective view of the push-off element 17 with a mouthpiece 20 into which the free end of the screw element 14 can be inserted, see Figure 4 . Furthermore, the pressing element 17 has a pressure plate 21 for pressing against the end face S of the plate element 11. At least one projection 25 is formed on the outside of the mouthpiece 20, so that the pressing element 17 with the mouthpiece 20 can be pressed into the bore 27 in a self-retaining manner, which is provided in the profile element 10, see Figure 4. Several projections 25 can be arranged, which are distributed over the circumference of the mouthpiece 20. Thus, a captive arrangement of the push-off element 17 on the profile element 10 can be achieved without the adjusting means 13 having been brought into contact with the push-off element 17.

[0038] Figure 6 shows a side view of the pressing element 17 with the mouthpiece 20 and the pressure plate 21, wherein Figure 7 the detail X according to the section from Figure 6 In detail X according to Figure 7The mouthpiece 20 is shown with a central slot 26, and on the outside of the lateral surface of the mouthpiece 20 there are two opposing projections 25. The slot 26 allows the opposing parts of the mouthpiece 20 to spring slightly towards each other in order to press the mouthpiece 20 through the bore 27 in the profile element 10. Furthermore, for example, the inside of the mouthpiece 20 can have a slight undersize relative to the screw element 14 in order to connect the screw element 14 in a self-retaining manner to the pressing element 17, which can be advantageous for longer profile elements 10 with a plurality of assembly aids 1.

[0039] Figure 8 shows a door leaf 100 according to the invention as part of a door system 120 with a drive 110 for at least partially automated movement of the door leaf 100.

[0040] The invention is not limited in its embodiments to the preferred embodiment specified above. Rather, a number of variants are conceivable, which make use of the presented solution even in fundamentally different embodiments. All features and / or advantages arising from the claims, the description, or the drawings, including structural details or spatial arrangements, can be essential to the invention both individually and in a wide variety of combinations. The "plate element" as used in the present invention also includes other materials of an element that is plate-like and is to be arranged on the profile element, for example, plastic, composite material, wood, or metallic materials.
