Description

[0001] Composite profile arrangement for doors, windows or facade elements as well as door, window or facade element

[0002] The present invention relates to a composite profile arrangement for frames of doors, windows or facade elements and to a door, a window or a facade element with a frame made of such composite profile arrangements.

[0003] As the requirements for the thermal insulation properties of doors, windows and facade elements continue to increase, there is a need to further optimize their components, especially their frames, in this direction.

[0004] It is therefore desirable to design the frame profile arrangements of these frames to achieve the lowest possible thermal transmittance Uw. If the frames are constructed from composite profiles with an inner and outer metal shell and an insulating zone in between, special attention must be paid to optimizing this insulating zone.

[0005] Against this background, the invention has the object of further developing the composite profile arrangement of the generic type in such a way that it has a low thermal transmittance coefficient.

[0063] Figures 14, 15: Sectional views of variants of different composite frame profiles for composite profile arrangements.

[0064] In the following, some elements are explained which are common to the illustrated embodiments.

[0065] Figure 1 shows a section through a composite profile arrangement 1 for doors, windows or facade elements (the latter is not shown in full here). From several sections of such a composite profile arrangement 1, a frame (not shown here) with a closed circumference or, for example, a three-sided non-closed circumference can be manufactured for a window, a door or a facade, this frame comprising a frame and a sash. The sash is part of a sash that is movable relative to the frame on a joint element such as a pivoting and / or folding hinge or the like, which encloses a surface element such as an insulating glass pane 4 on several, thus on three (door) or four (in particular window or facade element) sides. The term "window" is used synonymously for doors and facade elements below. The frame is used to be inserted into a wall opening.

[0066] The composite profile arrangement 1 of Figure 1 has a frame composite profile 2 and a sash frame composite profile 3. The frame which runs all the way around on three or four sides can be assembled from several of the frame composite profiles 2 and the sash frame which usually runs all the way around can be assembled from several of the sash frame composite profiles.

[0067] The composite frame profile 2 comprises a first metal shell 21—in particular designed as an extruded aluminum profile—and a second metal shell 22—in particular designed as an extruded aluminum profile. A frame insulation zone 23 is formed between these two metal shells 21, 22.

[0068] It is preferred that the first and second metal shells 21, 22 of the composite frame profile 2 each have at least one hollow chamber 211, 221. Alternatively, they may have multiple hollow chambers.

[0069] The sash composite profile 3 comprises a first metal shell 31—in particular designed as an extruded aluminum profile—and a second metal shell 32—in particular designed as an extruded aluminum profile. A sash insulation zone 33 is formed between these two metal shells 31, 32.

[0070] It is preferred that the first and second metal shells 31, 32 of the sash composite profile each have at least one hollow chamber 311, 321. Alternatively, they may have multiple hollow chambers.

[0071] The composite frame profile 2 is designed for installation in an opening in a wall of a building. It therefore has a connection side 2A facing this wall opening when installed. It also has a rebate side 2B, in which it faces the sash composite profile 3 or the rebate space F between the composite frame profile 2 and the sash composite profile 3.

[0072] The sash composite profile 3 is designed to accommodate a surface element such as an insulating glass pane 4. It therefore has a glass rebate side 3A facing this opening. It also has a rebate side 3B facing the sash composite profile 3. The insulating glass pane can be held in the sash, or in this case, the sash composite profile 3, by means of sealing strips 34, 35, as shown. A glass retaining strip 36 can also be provided for this purpose.

[0073] A rebate space or rebate gap F is formed between the rebate sides 2B of the composite frame profile and 3B of the composite sash profile.

[0074] The second metal shell 21 of the frame composite profile 2 and the metal shell 31 of the sash frame composite profile 3 can each have webs 222, 312 (extending here in the X direction), with which they each partially overlap the corresponding second metal shell 22 of the sash frame composite profile 2 or the corresponding first metal shell 31 of the frame composite profile 3, so that the rebate space F is covered laterally. In order to close any remaining gap between the first metal shell 21 and the web 312 or the second metal shell 32 and the web 222, one or more stop sealing strips 37 can optionally be formed on the webs 221 and / or 311.

[0075] The sash frame composite profile 3 can be movable in and against a direction X relative to the frame composite profile, so that a corresponding sash can be opened and closed, e.g., by turning, tilting, parallel positioning, or the like. The type of movement depends on how the sash frame and frame are coupled and on which side of the frame the frame composite profile and the sash frame composite profile are arranged relative to the joint elements.

[0076] The surface element - here the insulating glass pane 4, preferably in triple glazing - extends essentially perpendicular to it in a YZ Z plane, where the Z direction here is the direction perpendicular to the section plane of Figure 1. When calculating the thermal transmittance, a pane edge of 90 mm is generally taken into account.

[0077] The overall insulation zone of the frame profile arrangement comprises the frame insulation zone 23 and the sash insulation zone 33, which complement each other to form a type of overall insulation zone that essentially completely penetrates the composite profile arrangement like a thermal insulation barrier between the two metal shell planes of the frame composite profile 2 and the sash composite profile 3 in the Y direction from the first insulation web 231 across the rebate space to the glass edge rebate G. This overall insulation zone comprises several—preferably six or more—insulation sections arranged between side 2A and side 3A of the frame composite profile 2 and the sash composite profile.

[0078] In addition, the insulating glass pane 4 can be held in the sash frame, or in this case, the sash frame composite profile 3, by means of seals 34, 35 (or in another way), as shown. These seals 34, 35 can be designed as glass contact seals arranged between the insulating glass pane 4 and the glazing bead 36 and the second metal shell 32 of the sash frame composite profile. These seals 34, 35 can be made of an insulating material or a composite of materials, in particular, they can be made entirely or partially of EPDM.

[0079] The frame insulation zone 23 here comprises two insulating bars 231, 232 of the frame composite profile 2. These are preferably made entirely or substantially (e.g., except for wire elements or the like) of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer) or a polyamide—in particular, Polythermid (a trademark of the applicant, Schüco International KG). If a polyamide is used, it is used in foamed form.

[0080] The insulating webs 231, made of non-foamed plastic, preferably have an X-value of 0.3 to 0.1, particularly preferably between 0.22 and 0.14, in particular less than 0.16 W / (m K). In particular, an ABS with an X-value of < 0.15 W / (m K) can be used.

[0081] If ABS is used, it should preferably have an X-value (lambda value) of 0.16 W / (mK) or.

[0082] If foamed plastic, in particular foamed polyamide, is used as the material of the insulating webs 231, 232, this preferably has an X-value of 0.3 to 0.1, particularly preferably between 0.29 to 0.10 and in particular less than 0.22 W / (mK) or less.

[0083] The two insulating webs 231, 232 can also consist, in particular, of various of the materials mentioned above.

[0084] These two insulating webs 231, 232 form, according to Figure 1, the first insulating section of the insulating zone 23 of the overall insulating zone 2. The two insulating webs 231, 232 of the composite frame profile 2 can be spaced apart from one another. They can also be aligned parallel. These insulating webs 231, 232 can each have one or more hollow chambers 2311, 2321 - here three hollow chambers. They can also be of equal length. At their ends, they can also each have head regions 2312 or 2322; 2322, 2323, with which they engage in corresponding grooves in the first and second metal shells 231, 232, in which they can be fixed in a shear-resistant manner, preferably by rolling.

[0085] The space between the two spaced-apart insulating webs 231, 232 of the composite frame profile 2 and the first and second metal shells 21, 22 can be completely or substantially (i.e., more than 80%) filled by a foam element, in particular a phenolic resin foam element 233. This can be coextruded with one of the two insulating webs 231, 232, here with the insulating web 232 facing the rebate side 2B. A narrow gap can remain between the first insulating web 221 and this foam element, in particular a triangular or wedge-shaped gap in cross-section, which widens away from the insulating web in the rebate space F.

[0086] The foam element, in particular the phenolic resin foam element 233, forms the second insulating section of the overall insulating zone according to Figure 1 (see also Figure 13 and Figure 14).

[0087] The X-value of the phenolic resin foam element 233 is preferably:

[0088] X-value = 0.022 W / (mK) or less (see Figures 13 and 14).

[0089] The insulating web 232 located toward the rebate side 2B has a central sealing insulating block 234 toward the rebate side 2B. This is preferably made of a TPE and / or an EPDM. According to Figure 1, the central sealing insulating block 234 forms the third insulating section of the overall insulating zone. It can preferably extend from the insulating web 232 of the composite frame profile over more than half the width of the rebate space F in the Y direction and over more than half the length of the insulating web 232 in the X direction. It can be glued to the insulating web 232 or attached to it on base elements or extruded together with it.

[0090] According to Figure 1, the center seal insulation block 234 forms the third insulation section of the overall insulation zone. In addition to the center seal insulation block 234 (preferably PE foam with an X-value of <0.036 W / (mK)), a stop center seal 235 can be formed and preferably also attached in the rebate space F, preferably on the insulating web 232 of the composite frame profile 2.

[0091] This stop center seal 235 can have a base 2351 in the form of an A and a sealing stop head 2352 on the side facing away from a locking foot 23511. The base 2351 engages with the locking foot 23511 of the A in a receiving groove 2324 of the insulating web 232, which secures the locking foot 23511 to the insulating web 232. The other web 23512 of the A rests on the second metal shell 22.

[0092] The locking foot 23511 can be made of TPE. The base 2351 and the sealing stop head 2352 can be made of EPDM.

[0093] In this way, this stop center seal 235 is securely attached to the frame composite profile 2 in the rebate space F, while still maintaining good thermal insulation properties. These are preferably further improved by the following design.

[0094] Nut

[0095] According to this advantageous embodiment, which can also be considered a separate invention, the base 2351 can rest against the central seal insulation block 234 when the sash 3 is in the open state. When the sash 3 is closed, however, the base 2352, in particular the seal stop head 2352, lifts off the central seal insulation block 234 because the sash frame 3 strikes it with an element of the sash frame and the base 2351 lifts off the central seal insulation block 234 by a few mm when closing, preferably by 1 to 2 mm. Then, in the closed state of the sash frame composite profile 3, the gap S1 is preferably > 0.01 mm and < 2 mm, so that it interrupts the direct heat transfer between the elements 234 and 235 at this point.

[0096] Starting from the gap S1, a chamber (towards the insulating web 232) can be formed, for example, or preferably wedge-shaped, in any case partially or entirely between the central seal insulating block 234 and the base 2351. Starting from the gap S1, the chamber can also be designed differently, for example rectangular, in particular as a parallelogram. The gap S1 formed in this way optimizes the thermal insulation. When the sash is opened again or the sash frame composite profile 3 is lifted, the sealing stop head 2352 preferably moves back slightly due to a spring effect. If necessary, it can also rest against the central seal insulating block 234 again. The stop central seal 235 can be made of TPE (in particular the base) and / or EPDM (foam, in particular in the area projecting into the rebate).

[0097] According to Figure 1, the stop center seal 235 can form a further subsection of the third insulating section of the overall insulating zone.

[0098] The sash frame insulation zone 33 then preferably has two insulating webs 332, 333, preferably designed as a region of a multi-head web of a multi-head insulator 331, wherein the multi-head web can consist of a plastic material.

[0099] The multi-headed web can preferably have one, two, or more hollow chambers 3311, 3312 and here the two insulating webs 332, 333, which are preferably aligned entirely or substantially parallel to one another (see also Figures 7 to 12). The multi-headed web can preferably be made entirely or substantially (e.g., except for wire elements or the like) of plastic, in particular an ABS such as Polytherm id (Schüco) or of polyamide. The multi-headed web is a hollow plastic body.

[0100] The multi-head insulator 331 can be designed as a four-head insulator. The multi-head web is then a four-head web. This is particularly advantageous because it achieves good statics for the sash composite profile, which is accompanied by good thermal insulation.

[0101] The four-head insulator 331 has the multi-head web, which can preferably be made entirely or substantially (e.g., except for wire elements or the like) of polythermide or polyamide. The two insulating webs 332, 333 can be spaced apart from one another. They can be connected in the region of their ends by transverse webs 334, 335. The two transverse webs 334, 335 can be thinner than the insulating webs 332, 333 of the four-head web. Thin-walled webs have the ability to expand better during foaming. This advantageously creates an expansion space in the multi-head web in a simple manner for any expansion during foaming. Heat-insulating chambers are also created outside the transverse webs for the metal shells.

[0102] The two insulating webs 332, 333 can be of different lengths. In particular, it can be provided that the insulating web 333 oriented toward the glass rebate F is longer than the other insulating web 332 oriented toward the rebate space F, in particular more than 10%, preferably more than 20% longer. This has the advantage that the thermal insulation is further improved near the insulating glass pane 4. The first metal shell 31 can be designed accordingly narrower here. This contributes to an optimized, uniform isothermal profile. This will be explained in more detail below with reference to Figure 2.

[0103] The four-head insulator 331 can further comprise one or more hollow chambers, here two, 3311, 3312. The insulating webs 332, 333 can also comprise head regions 3321, 3331 and 3322, 3323, respectively, at their ends, with which they engage in grooves of the first and second metal shells, in which they can be fixed in a shear-resistant manner, preferably by rolling.

[0104] At least one of the hollow chambers 3311, 3312 can be formed inside an insulating attachment 3323. This insulating attachment 3323 can be attached to the first insulating web

[0105] 332 of the four-head insulator 331 and extend from there into the rebate space F. It can penetrate this space by up to 50% of its width. It can touch the stop seal 235 when closed. It can also have the hollow chamber 3312. It can be filled with foam or have an insert. The hollow chamber 3311 can also be non-foamed.

[0106] The insulating attachment 3323 may have a boundary wall, which is the element that lifts the sealing stop head 2352 from the central sealing insulating block 234 when closed. The other of the hollow chambers 3322 may be located between the transverse webs 334, 335 and the parallel insulating webs 332,

[0107] 333 be trained.

[0108] The hollow chambers 3311 and 3312 can be completely or partially filled with foam as shown.

[0109] This foam can be designed as an insulating plastic foam (Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 7). It can be formed by foaming the hollow chambers 3311, 3312 (see also Figure 8). Alternatively, inserts 33111, 33121 in the form of foam webs can be inserted into the hollow chambers 3311, 3312 (see, for example, Figures 1, 3, and 7).

[0110] The inserts 33111, 33121 can be designed as PU inserts 33111, 33121. They can, for example, have an X-value of the following size:

[0111] X < 0.027 W / (mK). The foam can be designed as a PE injection foam. The hollow chambers

[0112] 3311 and 3312 can have an X-value of the following size: large chamber 3311 X-value < 0.028 W / (mK); and small chamber 3312 X-value < 0.034 W / (mK).

[0113] The advantageous multi-head insulator 331, in particular four-head insulator, forms according to Figure 1 with the insulating attachment 3323 the fourth and fifth insulating sections of the overall insulating zone.

[0114] The multi-head insulator 331 - made of unfoamed or foamed plastic - preferably has an X-value of 0.1 W / (mK) to 0.3 W / (mK), particularly preferably between 0.14 W / (mK) and 0.22 W / (mK), in particular an X-value of < 0.16 W / (mK). In particular, an unfoamed ABS with an X-value of < 0.16 W / (mK) can be used. If, on the other hand, foamed plastic, in particular foamed polyamide, is used as the material of the multi-head insulator 331, this preferably has an X-value (lambda value) of 0.1 to 0.3, particularly preferably between 0.10 and 0.29, in particular 0.22 W / (mK) or less, particularly preferably foamed PA (polyamide) with an X-value of < 0.21 W / (mK).

[0115] It is also conceivable to fill the hollow chambers 3311 and 3312 with injection foam (PUR) or insulation inserts (PUR / PE / PF / MF / XPS / PET / EPS) with the X-values mentioned: large chamber 3311 X-value < 0.028 W / (mK) and small chamber 3312 X-value < 0.034 W / (mK).

[0116] The multi-head insulator 331 can, in particular, be made of Polythermid PT (an ABS, brand name of Schüco International KG). It can then, for example, have an X value of the following magnitude: X < 0.022 W / (mK).

[0117] The insulating webs 332, 333 of the sash composite profile can run parallel or only substantially parallel to each other, so that the distance between the head regions 3321, 3331 and 3322, 3331 on the first metal shell 332 is smaller than the distance between the fastening heads on the second metal shell 333. The angle between the insulating webs 332, 333 is less than 30° (Figure 9, Figure 10).

[0118] Only one of the hollow chambers 3321, 3322 of the four-head insulator 331 can be provided with a foam filling. A glass rebate insulation element 336 can be arranged and / or formed in the glass rebate G on the four-head insulator 331, in particular on its second insulating web 332.

[0119] This glazing rebate insulation element 336, optionally supplemented by a seal, can cross the entire glazing rebate in a strip-like manner in the transverse direction—preferably always at a slight distance from the edge of the pane. It can be made of or consist of PE or PET.

[0120] According to Figure 1, the glazing rebate insulation element 336 forms the sixth insulating section of the overall insulation zone, optionally supplemented by a seal. The glazing rebate insulation element 336 can be made of foamed material, in particular foamed PE and particularly preferably XPET.

[0121] For example, it can have a lambda value as follows: X-value < 0.03 W / (mK), in particular X-value = 0.029 W / (mK).

[0122] Overall, the six insulation sections, possibly supplemented by a further section of the third insulation section in the design shown and explained, result in particularly good thermal insulation.

[0123] The two sealing strips 34, 35 can each have a base 341, 351 made of a more rigid material and a sealing area 342, 352 made of a foam such as EPDM. They can also have a tab 343, 353, with which they can further divide the glazing rebate into several chamber-like areas, which can optionally optimize the overall insulation effect, like an eighth insulation zone.

[0124] Overall, the overall insulation zone achieves a substantial thermal separation between the metal shells and overall between the rooms I and II to be separated.

[0125] This is clearly illustrated in Figure 2, which shows an isothermal profile of the composite profile arrangement from Figure 1.

[0126] This is calculated according to DIN EN ISO 10077-2 - Thermal performance of windows, doors, and shutters - Calculation of thermal transmittance - Part 2: Numerical method for frames. The installation depth in the Y direction is 75 mm. However, it is not limited to this value. For preferred designs, it can advantageously be between 50 mm and 125 mm.

[0127] Figure 2 shows the isothermal curve at an outside temperature of -10 °C (in outside chamber I). A temperature of 20°C is assumed in inside chamber II.

[0128] Particularly visible are the 0°C isotherm A, the 10°C isotherm B and the 13°C isotherm C.

[0129] It can be seen that the 0° isotherm A, viewed in the Y direction, always runs advantageously in the lower half of the composite profile arrangement - both in the frame composite profile 2 and in the sash frame composite profile 3. The 0° isotherm A, viewed in the Y direction, also always runs advantageously within the lower half of the overall insulation zone, which includes the two insulation zones 23, 33. It also runs in the lower half of the insulating pane 4 (here, for example, a triple glazing with two chambers). The 10° isotherm B, on the other hand, always runs in the upper half of the overall insulation zone and the upper half of the insulating glass pane 4 or the two insulation zones 23, 33, and the 13° isotherm C also always runs advantageously entirely in the upper half of the overall insulation zone 23, 33. It can only run on the insulating glass 4 itself at its upper edge (towards the interior).

[0130] The calculation considers a 190 mm edge of an insulating glass pane 4, which consists of three spaced individual panes. The 0° and 10° isotherms also always run through this pane. The 13° isotherms B and C run in sections along the edge of the insulating glass pane 4. The insulating glass pane 4 can be designed as triple glazing with a central pane and two outer panes, with hollow chambers between them.

[0131] According to Figure 3, a particularly wide frame is formed. Therefore, the composite frame profile 2 can be designed accordingly wide.

[0132] The composite profile arrangement 1 can have a width in the X-direction of more than 130 mm, in particular more than 150 mm, particularly preferably more than 175 mm.

[0133] The construction depth in the Y direction is again 75 mm. However, it is not limited to this value. In preferred embodiments, it can advantageously be between 50 mm and 100 mm. In particular, it is intended to design the composite frame profile 2 very wide. For this purpose, it can be provided that both insulating webs 231, 232 each have a phenolic resin foam element 2331, 2332 on the two sides facing each other. These can extend close to one another, preferably leaving a gap of less than 2 mm.

[0134] In this way, very good thermal insulation is achieved even with such a wide composite frame profile. The isothermal curve 4 shown in Figure 4 exhibits the same advantageous features as discussed above with reference to Figure 2 (in Figure 3, foam is used in the hollow chambers of the multi-head web, and in Figure 4, inserts are used, which, however, leads to essentially equally good results).

[0135] The embodiment of Figure 5 differs from Figure 1 in particular in that the sling seal 235' is designed somewhat differently. It has a slightly different base region. Here and in other embodiments, the sling seal 235' can have one or more hollow chambers 2351. The hollow chamber 2351 here has two sub-chambers that are connected via a narrow channel, which also leads to thermal insulation. This sling seal 235" can preferably be made of TPE and / or EPDM. The entire sling seal 235' can have one or more hollow chambers 2351. The insulating web 232 facing the rebate space F also has no hollow chambers here (Figure 5, Figure 15).

[0136] The embodiment of Figure 6 differs from Figure 1 in particular in that a slightly modified stop seal 235" also takes over the function of the center seal insulating block 234. Therefore, an enlarged and here one-piece center seal 235" is created, which also abuts against the multi-head insulator 331 with a shoulder that forms a seal stop head similar to the seal stop head 2352 when the sash is closed. This stop seal 235" extends over the entire length of the insulating web 232 of the frame composite profile on the side of the rebate space F to the sash frame composite profile 3. It can preferably be made of TPE and / or EPDM. The entire stop seal 235" can have hollow chambers 2351.

[0137] According to Figure 3, the hollow chambers 3311, 3321 of the four-head insulator 331 can be filled with foam. Alternatively, inserts 33112, 33212 made of foamed material can be inserted into them, e.g., as shown in Figure 1. Otherwise, the advantages discussed with regard to Figure 1 apply.

[0138] In the combination of the elements according to the arrangement in Fig. 1 and 2, a thermal insulation of llf < 0.95 W / (m 2 K) for a construction depth > 75 mm (Y-direction) and a width of the profile arrangement in the X-direction preferably < 125 mm, in particular < 117 mm.

[0139] In the combination of the elements according to the arrangement in Fig. 3 and 4, a thermal insulation of llf < 0.80 W / (m 2 K) for a construction depth > 75 mm (Y-direction) and a width of the profile arrangement in the X-direction preferably < 190 mm, in particular < 178 mm). In the combination of the elements according to the arrangement in Fig. 5, a thermal insulation of llf < 0.80 W / (m 2K) for a construction depth > 90 mm (Y-direction) and a width of the profile arrangement in the X-direction preferably < 125 mm, in particular < 117 mm.

[0140] In the combination of elements according to the arrangement in Fig. 6, a thermal insulation of llf < 1.00 W / (m 2 K) for a construction depth > 75 mm (Y-direction) and a

[0141] Width of the profile arrangement in X-direction preferably < 125 mm, in particular < 117 mm.
