Description

[0001] The invention relates to a base frame for a piece of seating furniture, comprising a base part for setting up the base frame on a support surface, a seat part connected to the base part in a force-transmitting manner, a back part connected to the seat part in an articulated manner, a foot part connected to the seat part in an articulated manner, and a plurality of linear actuators for electromotively adjusting an inclination of the seat part relative to the base part, an inclination of the back part relative to the seat part, and an inclination of the foot part relative to the seat part. The linear actuators are connected to a control of the base frame in a signal-transmitting and energy-transmitting manner and to a remainder of the base frame in a force-transmitting manner. The invention further relates to a piece of seating furniture.

[0002] Such base frames for seating furniture and seating furniture equipped with them are already known from the state of the art in a variety of designs and are referred to, among other things, as recliners or TV armchairs.

[0003] The object of the present invention is to improve a base frame for a piece of seating furniture and a piece of seating furniture.

[0004] To achieve this object, the invention, in conjunction with the preamble of claim 1, is characterized in that the base frame has four linear actuators and is designed such that, by means of the four aforementioned linear actuators, six adjustments of the base frame can be realized independently of one another, each with a predetermined positioning of the base part, seat part, back part, and foot part relative to one another. Furthermore, this object is achieved by a piece of seating furniture having the features of claim 10.

[0005] The particular advantage of the invention is that a base frame for a piece of seating furniture and a piece of seating furniture are improved. Due to the inventive design of the base frame for a piece of seating furniture and of the seating furniture, it is possible to achieve the aforementioned settings of the base frame independently of one another. Accordingly, unlike the prior art, no mechanical couplings or the like are necessary to implement the individual settings of the base frame according to the invention, so to speak, in order to move from one setting of the base frame according to the invention to another setting of the base frame according to the invention. Therefore, no forced mechanical couplings are required between individual parts of the base frame according to the invention and thus of the seating furniture. Thus, the base frame for a piece of seating furniture according to the invention is less prone to failure than known base frames for seating furniture and thus significantly more reliable than conventional base frames for seating furniture. This is because, in conventional recliners, the mechanical and thus design and manufacturing effort required to implement the variety of different base frame settings corresponding to the invention is very high, so that malfunctions due to this complex mechanism are almost unavoidable with the state of the art. Customer dissatisfaction is the result.

[0006] In principle, the base frame according to the invention can be freely selected within wide, suitable limits in terms of type, functionality, material, and dimensions. Accordingly, the aforementioned settings of the base frame according to the invention can also be freely selected within wide limits.

[0007] An advantageous development of the base frame according to the invention provides that the six aforementioned settings are configured as a seat setting, a stand-up aid setting, a television setting, a television relaxation setting, a heart-balance setting, and a heart-balance relaxation setting. These are particularly useful settings of the base frame according to the invention that are in demand by discerning customers, so that these customers are offered a piece of seating with the base frame according to the invention and the seating according to the invention equipped therewith, in which all of the aforementioned advantageous functions, namely the base frame settings, are reliably combined in a single piece of seating. The seat adjustment is designed to allow upright sitting in the seating furniture according to the invention and can therefore be referred to as a type of basic adjustment of the base frame according to the invention, from which all other adjustments of the base frame according to the invention can be defined. In the stand-up aid adjustment of the base frame according to the invention, the seat part is raised and tilted forward compared to the seat adjustment so that a user of the seating furniture according to the invention with the base frame according to the invention can stand up from this seating furniture more easily. In contrast to the seat adjustment of the base frame, the foot part in the television adjustment is in a folded-out position of the foot part, in which the foot part extends the seat part forward in such a way that the user's legs, supported by the foot part, rest essentially stretched out on the foot part.Accordingly, the footrest could also be referred to as a legrest, since the footrest supports not only the user's feet, but also the legs. In contrast to the aforementioned television setting, the seat section in the heart-balance setting of the base frame is raised further in the front area and lowered further in the rear area, resulting in a more heart-friendly body position for the user of the seating furniture according to the invention. The circulatory system is relieved, and blood flow to the head is improved. Otherwise, the heart-balance setting corresponds to the aforementioned television setting of the base frame according to the invention. In the TV relaxation mode and the heart-balance relaxation mode, the backrest of the base frame according to the invention is lowered further backward than in the corresponding TV mode and heart-balance mode, so that the upper body of the user of the seating furniture according to the invention is less upright. The user therefore lies more on the seating furniture according to the invention than sits.

[0008] An advantageous development of the aforementioned development of the base frame according to the invention provides that the four aforementioned linear actuators are designed as a lift drive for adjusting the seat part from a position of the seat part corresponding to the seat setting to a position of the seat part corresponding to the stand-up aid setting, in each case relative to the base part, and vice versa, as a foot part drive for adjusting the foot part relative to the seat part, as a heart-balance drive for adjusting the seat part from a position of the seat part corresponding to the television setting to a position of the seat part corresponding to the heart-balance setting, in each case relative to the base part, and vice versa, and as a back part drive for adjusting the back part relative to the seat part.As a result, the four linear actuators are designed and arranged corresponding to the respective parts of the base frame according to the invention and their movement relative to one another, so that a direct correlation results between the respective linear actuator on the one side and the part of the base frame according to the invention to be moved on the other side.

[0009] A particularly advantageous development of the last-mentioned development of the base frame according to the invention provides that the foot part has a plurality of foot part segments and the foot part segments are connected to one another in such a way that they are movable relative to one another in such a way that the foot part segments can be moved back and forth by means of at least one of the linear actuators from a stowed length of the foot part, in which the foot part segments are folded and / or pushed together along a longitudinal axis of the foot part, into an extended length of the foot part that exceeds the stowed length and in which the foot part segments are unfolded and / or pushed apart along the longitudinal axis of the foot part, wherein the foot part can be folded into a folded position of the foot part under the seat part by means of the foot part drive in its stowed length, preferably that the seat part and the foot part enclose an acute angle in its folded position, particularly preferably, that the seat part and the foot part form an angle of less than or equal to 25° in its folded position. In this way, the foot part can be made so long in its unfolded position by means of the extended length that improved leg support and thus improved comfort can be achieved for the user of the seating furniture according to the invention. Furthermore, the foot part is only in an exposed position when necessary, so that the foot part, in all settings of the base frame in which the foot part does not necessarily have to be unfolded, does not represent an undesirable obstacle to the use of the base frame according to the invention and thus of the seating furniture according to the invention. This applies particularly to the preferred and especially to the particularly preferred embodiment of this development.

[0010] An advantageous further development of the embodiment of the base frame according to the invention according to claim 4 provides that the base frame is designed such that the foot part is positioned in the folded position in the seat setting of the base frame and / or the foot part is positioned in an intermediate folded position in the stand-up aid setting of the base frame, in which the foot part, in its stowed length, essentially forms a right angle with the seat part. This significantly improves the seating comfort of the user of the base frame according to the invention and thus of the seating furniture according to the invention in the seat setting of the base frame according to the invention.By transferring the foot section, which is located in the stowed length, into the aforementioned intermediate folding position, it is ensured that the base frame according to the invention can be reliably adjusted from its seat position to its stand-up aid position, since there is sufficient space between the seat section on one side and the foot section on the other side for the seat section to move relative to the base section. Depending on the specific case, the aforementioned right angle can be exceeded or undercut by a few degrees.

[0011] An advantageous further development of the base frame according to the invention according to one of claims 3 to 5 provides that the base frame is designed in such a way that a transfer of the base frame from its seat setting to its stand-up aid setting and vice versa can be carried out only by means of an intermediate position of the base frame, wherein on the one hand, when transferring the base frame between its seat setting and its intermediate position, the lift drive and the foot part drive can be actuated, preferably with 50% of a total stroke of the respective drive each, and on the other hand, when transferring the base frame between its intermediate position and its stand-up aid setting, only the lift drive can be actuated, preferably with 50% of the total stroke of the lift drive. In this way, a step-by-step adjustment of the base frame according to the invention, namely by means of the lift drive and the foot part drive, can be realized, so that on the one hand a functionally reliable transfer of the base frame according to the invention from its seat setting to its stand-up aid setting and vice versa and on the other hand a comfortable use of the base frame according to the invention and thus of the seating furniture according to the invention is possible for the user.

[0012] Further advantages, features, and details of the invention can be gathered from the further subclaims and the following description. Features mentioned therein may be essential to the invention individually or in any combination. Thus, reference can always be made to the disclosure of the individual aspects of the invention. The drawings serve only as examples to clarify the invention and are not limiting in nature. They show: Fig. 1a-1f an embodiment of the base frame of the seating furniture according to the invention in six different views of the seat setting of the base frame, Fig. 2a-2e the embodiment in five different views of the television setting of the base frame, Fig. 3a-3e the embodiment in five different views of the heart-balance setting of the base frame, Fig. 4 the embodiment in the television relaxation setting of the base frame, in a side view, Fig. 5 the embodiment in the heart-balance relaxation setting of the base frame, in a side view, Fig. 6a-6e the embodiment in five different views of the intermediate position of the base frame when transferring its seat setting into the stand-up aid setting of the base frame and Fig. 7a-7e the embodiment in five different views of an uppermost lift position (stand-up aid setting) of the base frame.

[0013] In the Fig. 1a bis 7e an embodiment of the base frame according to the invention for a piece of seating furniture according to the invention is shown purely by way of example.

[0014] The seating furniture, not shown in detail, has a base frame 2, wherein the base frame 2 has a base part 4 for setting up the base frame 2 on a support surface not shown, a seat part 6 connected to the base part 4 in a force-transmitting manner, a back part 8 connected to the seat part 6 in an articulated manner, a foot part 10 connected to the seat part 6 in an articulated manner, and a plurality of linear actuators 12, 14, 16, 18 for the electromotive adjustment of an inclination of the seat part 6 relative to the base part 4, an inclination of the back part 8 relative to the seat part 6 and an inclination of the foot part 10 relative to the seat part 6, wherein the linear actuators 12, 14, 16, 18 are connected to a control system (not shown) of the base frame 2 in a signal-transmitting and energy-transmitting manner and to a remainder of the base frame 2, i.e. the base frame 2 without the linear actuators 12, 14, 16, 18 and without the control, are connected in a force-transmitting manner, and wherein the foot part 10 has a plurality of foot part segments 20,22 and the foot part segments 20, 22 are connected to one another so as to be movable relative to one another that the foot part segments 20, 22 can be moved by means of at least one of the linear actuators 12, 14, 16, 18 from a position shown for example in the , Fig. 1a shown stowage length of the foot part 10, in which the foot part segments 20, 22 are folded and / or pushed together along a longitudinal axis of the foot part 10, into a stowage length exceeding the stowage length and, for example, in the Fig. 2d shown extension length of the foot part 10, in which the foot part segments 20, 22 are folded out and / or pushed apart along the longitudinal axis of the foot part 10, can be transferred back and forth.

[0015] According to the invention, the base frame 2 has four linear actuators 12, 14, 16, 18, wherein the base frame 2 with the four linear actuators 12, 14, 16, 18 is designed such that by means of the four aforementioned linear actuators 12, 14, 16, 18 six settings of the base frame 2 with each predetermined positioning of base part 4, seat part 6, back part 8 and foot part 10 relative to each other can be realized independently of each other.

[0016] The six aforementioned settings are in the present embodiment as one in the Fig. 1a bis 1f Seat adjustment shown, one in the Fig. 7a bis 7e Standing aid setting shown, one in the Fig. 2a bis 2e TV setting shown, one in the Fig. 4 shown TV relaxation setting, one in the Fig. 3a bis 3e Heart-scale setting shown and one in the Fig. 5 shown heart-balance relaxation setting is formed.

[0017] The four aforementioned linear actuators 12, 14, 16, 18 are designed here as a lift drive 12 for adjusting the seat part 6 from a position of the seat part 6 corresponding to the seat setting to a position of the seat part 6 corresponding to the stand-up aid setting, in each case relative to the base part 4, and vice versa, as a foot part drive 14 for adjusting the foot part 10 relative to the seat part 6, as a heart-balance drive 16 for adjusting the seat part 6 from a position of the seat part 6 corresponding to the television setting to a position of the seat part 6 corresponding to the heart-balance setting, in each case relative to the base part 4, and vice versa, and as a back part drive 18 for adjusting the back part 8 relative to the seat part 6.

[0018] The foot part 10 is in its stowed length by means of the foot part drive 14 into a Fig. 1a The seat part 6 and the foot part 10 in the folded position shown can be folded under the seat part 6, whereby the seat part 6 and the foot part 10 in its folded position form an acute angle, namely such that the seat part 6 and the foot part 10 in its folded position form an angle of less than or equal to 25°. See the Fig. 1a .

[0019] Accordingly, the base frame 2 in the present embodiment is designed such that the foot part 10 is positioned in the seat setting of the base frame 2 in its folded position and the foot part 10 is positioned in the stand-up aid setting of the base frame 2 in a position in the Fig. 6a bis 6e shown folding intermediate position, in which the foot part 10 in its stowed length essentially forms a right angle with the seat part 6. As can be seen from the Fig. 6a As can be seen, the angle enclosed between the seat part 6 and the foot part 10 in its intermediate folded-out position is slightly more than 90°, namely approximately 95°. In the seat position of the base frame 2, all linear actuators 12, 14, 16, 18 are each at 0% of the respective total stroke, i.e., at 0 mm total stroke. In addition, the base frame 2 is designed in such a way that a transfer of the base frame 2 from its seat position to its stand-up aid position and vice versa is only possible by means of a Fig. 6a bis 6e illustrated intermediate position of the base frame 2, wherein, on the one hand, when transferring the base frame 2 between its seat setting and its intermediate position, the lift drive 12 and the footrest drive 14 are operable, namely each with 50% of a total stroke of the respective drive 12, 14, and, on the other hand, when transferring the base frame 2 between its intermediate position and its stand-up aid setting, only the lift drive 12 is operable with 50% of the total stroke of the lift drive 12. The respective total stroke of the individual linear actuator 12, 14, 16, 18 designates the total stroke that can be achieved by means of the respective linear actuator 12, 14, 16, 18 along a longitudinal axis of the respective linear actuator 12, 14, 16, 18 when its piston is extended to its maximum in a manner known per se to a person skilled in the art.The wording "and vice versa" means that the explanations also apply in an analogous manner to the transfer of the base frame 2 in the opposite direction, for example from its stand-up aid setting to its seat setting.

[0020] In the present embodiment, in order to transfer the base frame 2 from its seat position to its intermediate position, the lift drive 12 and the foot section drive 14 are initially moved essentially simultaneously from 0% of the respective total travel to 50% of the respective total travel. In order to transfer the base frame 2 from its intermediate position to its stand-up aid position, only the lift drive 12 is subsequently moved from the already reached 50% of the total travel to 100% of the total travel, i.e., fully extended. The foot section drive 14 remains at the already reached 50% of its total travel. This ensures, on the one hand, a functionally reliable transfer of the base frame 2 from its seat setting to its stand-up aid setting and, on the other hand, a high level of comfort for a user of the seating furniture (not shown), since neither the aforementioned adjustment of the base frame 2 nor the user are impaired by the foot part 10.

[0021] In the present exemplary embodiment, the base frame 2 is further designed such that a transfer from its seat setting to its television setting and vice versa can be carried out only by means of the foot part drive 14, wherein the foot part drive 14 has 0% of the total stroke of the foot part drive 14 in the seat setting and 100% of the total stroke of the foot part drive in the television setting.Furthermore, the base frame 2 is designed here such that a transfer of the base frame 2 from its television setting to its heart-balance setting and vice versa can be carried out solely by means of the heart-balance drive 16, namely such that the heart-balance drive 16 in the television setting has 0% of a total stroke of the heart-balance drive 16, i.e. 0 mm of the total stroke of the heart-balance drive 16, and in the heart-balance setting it has 100% of this total stroke, wherein the total stroke of the heart-balance drive 16 here is less than or equal to 16 mm. Thus, the total stroke of the heart-balance drive 16 is very small, for example, compared to the other drives 12, 14, and 18.Finally, in the present exemplary embodiment, the base frame 2 is designed such that a transfer of the base frame 2 from its television setting to a television relaxation setting and vice versa and from its heart-balance setting to a heart-balance relaxation setting and vice versa can be carried out solely by means of the back part drive 18, wherein the back part drive 18 in the television setting or the heart-balance setting on the one hand has 0% of a total stroke of the back part drive 18 and in the television relaxation setting or the heart-balance relaxation setting on the other hand has 100% of the total stroke of the back part drive 18.

[0022] In the following, the functioning of the base frame according to the invention and thus of the seating furniture according to the invention according to the present embodiment is explained with reference to the Fig. 1a bis 7e explained in more detail.

[0023] First, the seating furniture and thus the base frame 2 is located in the Fig. 1a bis 1f shown seat setting. The Fig. 1d is a lateral sectional view of the base frame 2, with the section line in the Fig. 1c is shown by a dashed section line. Fig. 1f is a detailed view, where the Fig. 1f shown section in the Fig. 1e is marked by a circle. The user of the seating furniture (not shown) sits down on the seating furniture and actuates a control unit (also not shown) of the control of the base frame 2 in order to be able to operate the seating furniture and thus the base frame 2 in a manner known per se to those skilled in the art. For example, the user can select one of the above-mentioned settings of the base frame 2 by pressing a button or the like, which is then moved by means of the control and the at least one of the linear actuators 12, 14, 16, 18 required for this purpose.

[0024] In order to transfer the seating furniture and thus the base frame 2 from its seating position to its television position, the foot part 10 is simply transferred by means of the foot part drive 14 from the folded position on the one hand to its unfolded position and on the other hand simultaneously from its stowed length to its extended length. Analogous to the above, in the Fig. 2c a lateral sectional view of the base frame 2 is shown, with the section line in the Fig. 2b is shown by a dashed section line. Fig. 2e is again a detailed view, where the Fig. 2e shown section in the Fig. 2d is marked by a circle.

[0025] In order to transfer the base frame 2 from its television setting to its heart-balance setting, the seat part 6 is only adjusted in its inclination by means of the heart-balance drive 16, as can be seen from a summary of the Fig. 2a and 3aAnalogous to the above, the Fig. 3c a lateral sectional view of the base frame 2 is shown, with the section line in the Fig. 3b is shown by a dashed section line. Fig. 3e is again a detailed view, where the Fig. 3e shown section in the Fig. 3d is marked by a circle.

[0026] The transfer of the base frame 2 from its television setting to its television relaxation setting is carried out here only by means of the back part drive 18, by means of which the back part 8 is moved relative to the seat part 6, as can be seen from a summary of the Fig. 2a and 4 The same applies to the transfer of the base frame 2 from its heart-balance setting to its heart-balance relaxation setting. See the Fig. 3a and 5in summary. The same applies here, as with the other settings of base frame 2, for the respective return transition; for example, for the return transition from the TV relaxation setting or the heart-balance relaxation setting to the TV setting or the heart-balance setting.

[0027] In order to transfer the base frame 2 from its seat position to its stand-up aid position, it is necessary in the present embodiment, as already explained above, to first transfer the base frame 2 from its seat position to its intermediate position. See the Fig. 1a and 6a in a synopsis. The lift drive 12 and the foot section drive 14 are essentially moved simultaneously from 0% of the respective total stroke to 50% of the respective total stroke. For the transfer of the base frame 2 from its intermediate position to its stand-up aid setting, see the Fig. 6a and 7a In summary, only the lift drive 12 is subsequently moved from the already reached 50% of the total stroke to 100% of the total stroke, i.e. fully extended. The foot section drive 14 remains at the already reached 50% of its total stroke. This results in, on the one hand, a more reliable transfer of the base frame 2 from its seat setting to its stand-up aid setting and, on the other hand, a high level of comfort for a user of the seating furniture (not shown), since neither the aforementioned adjustment of the base frame 2 nor the user are impaired by the foot section 10. Analogous to the above, in the Fig. 6c a lateral sectional view of the base frame 2 is shown, with the section line in the Fig. 6b is shown by a dashed section line. Fig. 6e is again a detailed view, where the Fig. 6e shown section in the Fig. 6d is marked by a circle. The same applies to the Fig. 7a bis 7e , where in the Fig. 7c a lateral sectional view of the base frame 2 is shown, the section line in the Fig. 7b is shown by a dashed section line. Fig. 7e is also a detailed view, where the Fig. 7e shown section in the Fig. 7d is marked by a circle.

[0028] Of course, it is not absolutely necessary to perform the adjustment of the base frame 2 in the order explained above. Instead, the invention according to the present exemplary embodiment makes it possible to access, i.e., adjust, each of the aforementioned settings of the base frame 2 independently of one another in the manner explained above. Accordingly, the base frame 2 can, for example, be moved from any previous setting of the base frame 2 to any other desired setting of the base frame 2 by means of a corresponding operation on the control unit. However, in the present embodiment, the control is programmed in such a way that when the base frame 2 is transferred into the heart-balance setting or into the heart-balance relaxation setting, before an adjustment of the seat part 6 by means of the heart-balance drive 16, i.e. before the piston of the heart-balance drive 16 is extended, the foot part 10 is always first adjusted by means of the foot part drive 12 into its unfolded position, provided that the foot part 10 is not already in its unfolded position. Analogously, when transferring the base frame 2 from its heart-balance setting or from its heart-balance relaxation setting to one of the other settings of the base frame 2, the seat part 6 is first adjusted by means of the heart-balance drive 16, i.e. the piston of the heart-balance drive 16 is fully retracted, before the foot part 10 is transferred from its unfolded position to its folded position by means of the foot part drive 14.Analogously, it is further provided here that when transferring the base frame 2 to its stand-up aid setting, the lift drive 12 and the footrest drive 14 first move the base frame 2 to its intermediate position in the manner explained above. In the opposite direction, i.e., when the base frame 2 is moved from its stand-up aid setting to its seat position, for example, this also occurs by moving to the intermediate position. See the above explanations for this.

[0029] The invention is not limited to the present embodiment. See, for example, the relevant statements regarding optional or alternative embodiments of the invention in the introduction to the description and in the textual explanation of the embodiment. Bezugszeichenliste
