Description

[0001] The invention relates to a door closer system for a double-leaf door, wherein the door closer system comprises a first door closer for a fixed leaf of the door and a second door closer for an active leaf of the door, wherein the second door closer comprises a closing unit, a closing lever, and a sliding block, the sliding block being connected to the closing unit via the closing lever and guided in a slide rail of the second door closer, wherein the door closer system further comprises a closing sequence control with a release unit, a transmission unit, and a locking unit for blocking a closing movement of the second door closer. The invention further relates to a double-leaf door with an active leaf and a fixed leaf, comprising a door closer system with a first door closer for the fixed leaf and a second door closer for the active leaf.

[0002] Double-leaf doors are generally known in the art. They often consist of an active leaf and a fixed leaf, with the fixed leaf remaining closed during normal operation. Such double-leaf doors can be equipped with a door closer system, where each leaf has its own door closer. Since the fixed leaf must be fully closed before the active leaf completes its closing action, door closer systems for double-leaf doors are usually equipped with a closing sequence control. This is particularly important for fire doors to ensure reliable operation, especially the complete closure of both leaves in the event of a fire.

[0003] Common locking sequence control systems typically consist of a trigger unit, a transmission unit, and a locking unit. The trigger unit detects when the fixed leaf is opened and initiates the locking sequence control. This signal is then relayed by the transmission unit to the locking unit, which ultimately prevents the active leaf from closing.

[0004] Furthermore, in closing sequence control systems, it is known that in a closer system with sliding block closers, the locking unit directly blocks the movement of the sliding block of the active leaf door closer, thus preventing the closing movement of the active leaf. However, particularly, but not exclusively, when the closer system is mounted opposite the hinge side, the difficulty arises that the sliding block travels a double stroke in the guide rail, meaning the movement of the sliding block has a turning point.

[0005] In the double-crossed area of the guide rail, the sliding block moves in opposite directions during both the opening and closing movements of the active leaf. For example, the sliding block first moves towards the center of the door and then towards the hinge, or vice versa. Therefore, it is not possible to use a single-acting locking device in this double-crossed area that depends solely on the sliding block's position within the guide rail and blocks its movement in at least one direction. This is because such a device would block both the closing and the necessary opening of the active leaf.

[0006] While it is theoretically possible to use a simple locking unit as described above outside this double-painted area, the opening angle of the active leaf is usually already too large to guarantee the reliable functionality of the closing sequence control—that is, the secure closing of the entire double-leaf door even after the inactive leaf has been opened—for all opening angles of the inactive leaf. This is because it cannot be guaranteed that this large opening angle of the active leaf will even be reached. Even the conventional follower flaps cannot guarantee this already large opening angle of the active leaf, or only with considerable mechanical effort.

[0007] It is therefore an object of the present invention to at least partially overcome the disadvantages of known door closer systems and of known double-leaf doors of the prior art described above. In particular, it is an object of the present invention to provide a door closer system and a double-leaf door in which a locking unit of a closing sequence control can be used to block a movement of a sliding block associated with a closing movement of the door leaf, even in a twice-swept area of a sliding block's path, without hindering an opening process of the door leaf, wherein preferably the locking of the closing movement of the door leaf occurs at the smallest possible opening angles of the door leaf.

[0008] The aforementioned problem is solved by the claims. In particular, the problem is solved by a closing system with the features of independent claim 1 and by a double-leaf door with the features of claim 15. Further features and advantages of the closing system and the double-leaf door according to the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, the description, and the drawings.

[0009] According to the invention, the problem is solved by a door closer system for a double-leaf door, wherein the door closer system comprises a first door closer for a fixed leaf of the door and a second door closer for an active leaf of the door, wherein the second door closer comprises a closing unit that can be arranged on the active leaf, a closing lever, and a sliding block, wherein the sliding block is connected to the closing unit via the closing lever and is guided in a slide rail of the second door closer, wherein the door closer system further comprises a closing sequence control with a release unit, a transmission unit, and a locking unit for blocking a closing movement of the second door closer. The door closer system according to the invention is characterized in thatthat the locking unit comprises a retaining section arranged in the slide rail with a locking lever movable between a release position and a locking position according to a trigger state of the closing sequence control, and a sliding block section arranged on the sliding block with a blocking lever movable between an active position and a passive position, wherein, to block a closing movement of the second door closer, the locking lever in its locking position and the blocking lever in its active position positively engage, and wherein the sliding block section comprises a drive unit that can be coupled to the active leaf for bistable adjustment of the blocking lever between its active position and its passive position, wherein, in the mounted state, the drive unit adjusts the blocking lever depending on an activation opening angle of the active leaf.wherein the activation opening angle corresponds to a position of the sliding block in the slide rail which lies in a range between the holding section and a turning point of a movement of the sliding block in the slide rail, the range including the turning point.

[0010] The door closer system according to the invention is designed for a double-leaf door. For this purpose, the door closer system comprises a first and a second door closer, the first being for closing the inactive leaf and the second for closing the active leaf. At least the second door closer, preferably both door closers, are equipped with a slide rail in which a sliding block is slidably mounted. The sliding block is rotatably connected to a closing unit of the door closer via a closing lever. The closing unit comprises a mechanical, electromechanical, and / or hydraulic drive unit for initiating a closing action of the respective door leaf. The closing unit can be mounted directly on the door leaf, and the slide rail on the door head, preferably in a hinge-side mounting configuration.

[0011] Furthermore, the closing system according to the invention is equipped with a closing sequence control to ensure the safe and, in particular, complete closing of the double-leaf door even after the inactive leaf has been opened. A trigger unit of the closing sequence control is provided as part of the closing sequence control to detect an opening of the inactive leaf, especially an opening that exceeds a predetermined or correspondingly set opening angle, and is preferably designed to interact with the first door closer and / or directly with the inactive leaf for this functionality. The triggering of the closing sequence control generated by the trigger unit is transmitted via a transmission unit to a locking unit. Both the transmission unit and the locking unit are further elements of the closing sequence control.

[0012] According to the invention, the locking unit of the closing sequence control interacts with the second door closer. This avoids the locking unit acting directly on the active leaf itself, which often exhibits a significant dependence on the opening angle of the active leaf with regard to its effectiveness or the force required.

[0013] In particular, the locking unit is designed and configured to selectively block the movement of the sliding block in the guide rail that accompanies the closing movement of the sash. For this purpose, the locking unit has two separate but cooperating sections: a holding section, which is arranged in the guide rail and is therefore stationary as a unit, and a sliding block section, which is attached to the sliding block and thus moves with the sliding block in the guide rail. Due to the arrangement of the two sections in the guide rail and on the sliding block, respectively, they can preferably be enclosed by the guide rail, making them difficult to access and thus protected against unintentional or unwanted manipulation, while also making them not immediately visible and therefore visually appealing.

[0014] To actually lock the closing movement of the active sash, or rather to block the movement of the sliding block in the guide rail that accompanies the closing movement, the retaining section has a locking lever and the sliding block section has a blocking lever. Both levers are movable between two positions: the locking lever between a release position and a locked position, and the blocking lever between a passive position and an active position. Only when both the locking lever and the blocking lever are in their locked positions are the levers aligned relative to each other in such a way that they can positively engage. The positive engagement of the blocking lever with the locking lever blocks the movement of the sliding block in the guide rail that accompanies the closing process of the active sash, thus preventing the closing process from occurring.

[0015] The locking lever, as part of the locking unit within the closing sequence control, is coupled to the release unit via the transmission unit, preferably mechanically coupled. Depending on the release state of the closing sequence control, i.e., whether the release unit has detected an opening of the fixed leaf or not, the locking lever is moved between its positions. Without release, it remains in its release position, in which it is preferably pivoted in a direction away from a slide track of the sliding block. This prevents the blocking lever from striking the locking lever, and the active leaf can be opened and closed without any intervention from the closing sequence control. In contrast, when release occurs, i.e., when the fixed leaf is open, the locking lever is pivoted into its locking position, preferably in the direction of the slide track of the sliding block.

[0016] In contrast, the locking lever is provided in the sliding block section. In its passive position, the locking lever is generally pivoted away from the holding section, particularly the locking lever. In the active position, however, the locking lever is generally pivoted towards the holding section, particularly the locking lever, thus enabling the locking lever to engage the locking lever in its locked position. This positive engagement, especially on one side, allows the two levers to lift apart in opposite directions at any time, i.e., during a movement of the sliding block in the guide rail associated with an opening movement of the active leaf. In summary, an open active leaf is closed by the closing unit of the second door closer until the locking lever, which moves with the sliding block, engages the locking lever in its locked position in the active position, thus preventing further closing. However, it is still possible to reopen the passageway.

[0017] By equipping the closing system according to the invention, in particular the closing sequence control, with a blocking lever that is not constantly held in its active position but can also be arranged in a passive position in which an interaction with the locking lever and thus a blocking of a movement of the sliding block is excluded, it is particularly possible to take into account a reversal of movement of the sliding block in the slide rail during a complete opening or closing process of the active leaf.

[0018] For this purpose, the sliding block section of the locking unit, according to the invention, has, in addition to the locking lever, a drive unit which, in the assembled state of the closing system according to the invention, is coupled to the moving leaf. A coupling within the meaning of the invention comprises the fact that the behavior of the drive unit, in particular the adjustment of the locking lever, can be dependent on an opening angle of the moving leaf.

[0019] This drive unit is designed, as specified, to adjust the locking lever bistablely between its passive and active positions. Bistable, in the sense of the invention, means in particular that the locking lever is essentially always in one of its two positions, and that the adjustment or switching between the positions occurs quickly and, in particular, without intermediate positions. Preferably, this bistable adjustment is configured by coupling it to the gear leaf such that it occurs at exactly one selectable activation opening angle of the gear leaf, which is determined by the shape of the drive unit. In other words, for gear leaf opening angles smaller than the activation opening angle, the locking lever is always in one of its positions; for opening angles larger than the activation opening angle, it is in the other position.

[0020] According to the invention, the activation opening angle corresponds to a position of the sliding block in the guide rail that lies in a region between the retaining section and a turning point of the sliding block's movement in the guide rail, the region including the turning point. In particular, but not exclusively, when the closer system is mounted opposite the hinge, the sliding block executes a double-stroke path in the guide rail, thus the movement of the sliding block has a turning point. In the twice-swept region of the guide rail, the sliding block moves first towards the center of the door and then towards the hinge of the door, both during an opening and a closing movement of the active leaf.By switching the locking lever at an activation opening angle located between the holding section's position and the turning point, or preferably at the turning point itself, it is possible that when the locking lever located on the holding section is positioned within the double-stroke path, the locking lever is in both its passive and active positions as it passes the locking lever. This allows the system to define the opening angles of the active sash at which the closing process should be blocked: either at opening angles smaller than the activation opening angle, where the sliding block moves towards the turning point when opening and away from it when closing, or at opening angles larger than the activation opening angle, where the sliding block moves towards the turning point when closing and away from it when opening.

[0021] The actuator unit is adjusted according to this selection so that it moves the blocking lever to its active position for the chosen angle range. When the closing sequence control is triggered, and the locking lever is in its locked position, the closing process of the active leaf is blocked, but the opening process, as described above, remains possible. In the unselected angle range, the blocking lever is in its passive position, and no interaction with the locking lever occurs.

[0022] In summary, the closing system according to the invention, particularly due to the design of the locking unit of the closing sequence control, can also be used in double-leaf doors where, during movement of the active leaf, a sliding block in a guide rail performs a double-stroke movement, i.e., a portion of the sliding path is traversed in two different directions, as can occur particularly when the closing system is mounted opposite the hinges. In particular, the closing system according to the invention never impedes the opening process of the door leaf, especially the active leaf. This is made possible according to the invention, in particular, by the fact that only one of the two opening angle ranges, corresponding to the sliding paths of the sliding block before and after its turning point, is considered for blocking the closing movement of the active leaf during the closing sequence control. In particular, by appropriately selecting the opening angle range, the closing process can be blocked even at very small opening angles of the active leaf. This is especially advantageous for asymmetrical double doors where the active leaf is significantly wider than the inactive leaf.

[0023] The closing system according to the invention can also be characterized in that the locking lever is spring-loaded in the direction of its locking position, wherein the locking lever can be reversibly deflected from the locking position by the blocking lever into its active position during a movement of the sliding block correlated with an opening movement of the active sash. As already explained above, such an impact during an opening movement is only a concern if the active sash is generally open within an opening angle range in which the blocking lever is actually in its active position. The closing sequence control may already be triggered, and thus the locking lever may be in its locking position, if the active sash is open to an opening angle smaller than the locking opening angle at which the locking lever in its locked position and the blocking lever in its active position make positive contact. To allow the active leaf to be opened further, for example by a user or automatically by a follower flap, the locking lever in the present embodiment can be reversibly deflected from its locked position when the blocking lever strikes the locking lever during a movement of the sliding block associated with the opening movement of the active leaf. It should be noted that when the active leaf opens, the blocking lever automatically strikes the locking lever from the opposite direction compared to a closing movement. The spring tension in the direction of the locking position ensures that the locking lever automatically returns to its locked position after passing the blocking lever. This restores the functionality of the closing sequence control of the closer system.

[0024] Furthermore, the closing system according to the invention can be provided with a retaining section comprising a mounting section, a damping spring, and a lever section, wherein the mounting section is fixedly attached in the slide rail and the lever section is slidably mounted in the slide rail and carries the locking lever, the mounting section and the lever section being movably connected to each other via the damping spring. When the active leaf performs its closing action, driven by the closing unit of the second door closer, high forces can occur when the blocking lever strikes the locking lever, particularly with large and heavy active leaves or at high closing speeds. A closing action additionally driven by the user can also cause high forces. To at least partially absorb this force, the holding section can be divided into a fixed mounting section, which is rigidly fixed in the slide rail, and a lever section with the locking lever, which is connected to it via the damping spring and slidably mounted in the slide rail. This allows the lever section to be moved against the force of the damping spring when the blocking lever strikes the locking lever, thus dampening at least part of the force acting upon impact. This prevents damage, or in the worst case, destruction, of the locking unit or the closing mechanism.

[0025] According to a further embodiment of the closing system according to the invention, it can also be provided that the holding section with the locking lever in its locked position can be overridden by a blocking lever in its active position during a movement of the sliding block correlated with a closing movement of the active leaf, if the force acting by the blocking lever on the locking lever exceeds an override limit. Such override can be achieved, for example, by a corresponding pivoting of the locking lever and / or the blocking lever, and / or, if present, also by the damping spring. The override limit can be reached or even exceeded, for example, by an additional force assisting the closing process of the active leaf, such as a strong gust of wind or a user pushing the active leaf closed.Overall, the ability to override the locking mechanism can prevent or at least significantly reduce the risk of damage to the locking unit or the entire locking system.

[0026] Furthermore, the closing system according to the invention can be characterized in that the locking unit, in particular the holding section and the sliding block section, can be mounted in a first and a second, opposite orientation within the closing system, for blocking a movement of the sliding block coupled to the closing movement of the active leaf in different directions with respect to the slide rail. The movement of the sliding block in the slide rail has a turning point. Near this turning point, there is therefore a region of the slide rail that the sliding block traverses twice, and in which the directions of movement of the sliding block, which occur during the opening and closing movements of the active leaf respectively, are opposite, depending on whether the corresponding opening angle range of the active leaf is greater or smaller than the opening angle corresponding to the turning point. The inventive method of mounting the retaining section in the guide rail and the sliding block section on the sliding block in two opposing orientations allows this effect to be taken into account. The appropriate orientation can be selected for each case to enable the closing process of the active leaf to be blocked within a specific opening angle range during the closing sequence control.

[0027] According to a further embodiment of the closing system according to the invention, the drive unit can also be coupled to a rotation angle of the closing lever. The rotation angle of the closing lever is directly correlated with the opening angle of the active leaf. By coupling to the closing lever, the coupling of the drive unit to the active leaf can thus be made particularly easy. In particular, the activation opening angle of the active leaf corresponds to an activation rotation angle of the closing lever. The sliding block is usually rotatably mounted on a shaft fixed to the closing lever, wherein, for example, the shaft passes through a continuous recess in the sliding block. Preferably, the drive unit can then be coupled to this shaft, particularly also on a side of the sliding block facing away from the closing lever.

[0028] According to a further development, the closing system according to the invention can be characterized in that the follower unit has a follower lever rotatably, preferably non-rotatably, coupled to the closing lever, wherein the blocking lever is rotatably mounted on the sliding block about a lever axis parallel to the rotation of the closing lever and has two guide surfaces oriented at an angle to each other and containing or parallel to the lever axis for alternating interaction with the follower lever, wherein a change of the guide surface with which the follower lever interacts occurs at least substantially at the rotation angle of the closing lever which, in the assembled state, corresponds to the activation opening angle of the active leaf. In this embodiment, the axes about which the locking lever and the blocking lever can be pivoted are aligned vertically to the door.Since the movements of the drive lever and the locking lever, preferably also of the locking lever, take place in a common plane transverse to these axes in this design, a particularly small installation space requirement in the vertical direction can be enabled.

[0029] By coupling the drive lever to the closer lever, the drive lever follows the rotation of the closer lever, with each rotational position of the drive lever replicating the opening angle of the gate leaf and being strictly correlated with it. In a rotatable coupling, additional components can be interposed in the mechanical connection between the drive lever and the closer lever, such as a transmission to change the rotational speed of the drive lever relative to that of the closer lever. In a rotationally fixed arrangement, for example on the shaft described above, the rotational speed of the drive lever corresponds to that of the closer lever.

[0030] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the locking lever for interaction with the drive lever has two guide surfaces oriented at an angle to each other. The two guide surfaces preferably meet at the lever axis of the locking lever, with which it is rotatably mounted in the sliding block section. Through interaction with the guide surfaces, the drive lever, as described below, bistablely switches the locking lever between its passive and active positions.

[0031] For example, with the locking lever in its passive position and the moving leaf far from its activation opening angle, the guide surfaces are oriented such that the drive lever slides along a first guide surface towards the second, without necessarily touching it. When the moving leaf reaches an opening angle close to the activation opening angle, the drive lever strikes the second guide surface and pushes it along with the further movement of the moving leaf. This is referred to, within the meaning of the invention, as a change of the guide surface with which the drive lever interacts. The locking lever, which assumes its positions bistablely, thus snaps from its currently occupied position, in this example the passive position, to the other position. This also moves or rotates the two guide surfaces accordingly, so that with further movement of the door leaf, the drive lever now slides along the second guide surface and moves away from the first. This process is reversible and then occurs in exactly the opposite direction.

[0032] Furthermore, the closing system according to the invention can be further developed such that the locking unit has a spring assembly arranged on the sliding block, and the locking lever has a spring section for interacting with the spring assembly, wherein the spring assembly, via the spring section, exerts a bistable spring force on the locking lever in both the active and passive positions. The locking lever can be switched bistablely back and forth between its active and passive positions. The spring assembly present in this further development makes this bistable switching particularly easy and reliable to support and / or secure. Thus, the spring assembly, in particular through interaction with the spring section of the locking lever, exerts a force on the locking lever in the direction of the respective position at the latest after each of the two positions has been assumed.Preferably, this application begins immediately or at least substantially immediately after switching between the two positions, thus already supporting the assumption of the respective position.

[0033] According to a further development, the closing system according to the invention can also be designed as follows: the spring unit is a leaf spring curved in the direction of the spring section, and the spring section is a projection on the locking lever. The projection can, for example, have a triangular or rounded cross-section and / or protrude from an otherwise cylindrical segment-shaped surface of the locking lever. The projection compresses the leaf spring, and the desired forces act on the projection in the direction of the current position of the locking lever due to the appropriately oriented curvature of the leaf spring.

[0034] According to an alternative further development, the closing system according to the invention can be characterized in that the drive unit has a drive element slidably coupled to the closing lever, wherein a displacement path of the drive element is correlated with the rotation angle of the closing lever, and wherein the blocking lever is rotatably mounted on the sliding block about a lever axis oriented transversely to the rotation of the closing lever and to the movement of the sliding block, and has two guide surfaces oriented at an angle to each other and containing or parallel to the lever axis for alternating interaction with the drive element, wherein a change of the guide surface with which the drive element interacts takes place at least substantially at the rotation angle of the closing lever which, in the assembled state, corresponds to the activation opening angle of the hinged leaf.In this embodiment, the axis around which the locking lever can pivot is oriented transversely or horizontally to the door. Since the movements of the locking lever, and preferably also of the locking lever, occur in a common plane transverse to these horizontal axes, a particularly small installation space requirement in the horizontal direction can be achieved.

[0035] By coupling the drive element to the closing lever, the displacement of the drive element follows a rotation of the closing lever, whereby a rotational position of the lever replicates the opening angle of the door leaf and is strictly correlated with it. In addition to components for converting the rotary motion of the closing lever into the displacement motion of the drive element, further components can be interposed in the coupling between the closing lever and the drive element, for example, a transmission gear to change the displacement speed of the drive element relative to the rotational speed of the closing lever.

[0036] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the locking lever also has two guide surfaces oriented at an angle to each other for interaction with the drive element. The two guide surfaces preferably meet at the lever axis of the locking lever, with which it is rotatably mounted in the sliding block section. Through interaction with the guide surfaces, the drive element, as described below, bistablely switches the locking lever between its passive and active positions. The drive element can also have a suitably shaped working section for interaction with the guide surfaces, which, for example, has a triangular or rounded tip.

[0037] For example, with the locking lever in its passive position and the moving leaf far from its activation opening angle, the guide surfaces are oriented such that the drive element slides along a first guide surface towards the second, without necessarily touching it. When the moving leaf reaches an opening angle close to the activation opening angle, the drive element strikes the second guide surface and pushes it along with further movement of the moving leaf. According to the invention, this is referred to as a change of the guide surface with which the drive element interacts. The locking lever, which assumes its positions bistablely, thus snaps from its currently occupied position, in this example the passive position, to the other position. This also moves or rotates the two guide surfaces accordingly, so that with further movement of the door leaf, the drive element now slides along the second guide surface and moves away from the first guide surface. This process is reversible and then occurs in exactly the opposite direction.

[0038] Furthermore, the closing system according to the invention can be further developed such that the drive unit has a drive lever rotatably, preferably non-rotatably, coupled to the closing lever, wherein the drive lever and the drive element are coupled via a cam guide to convert the rotary movement of the drive lever into the linear movement of the drive element. A drive lever rotatably or non-rotatably coupled to the closing lever represents a mechanically particularly simple component. In the case of a rotatable coupling, further components can be interposed in the mechanical operative connection of the drive lever with the closing lever, for example, a transmission gear to change the rotational speed of the drive lever relative to the rotational speed of the closing lever. In a rotationally fixed arrangement, for example on the shaft described above, the rotational speed of the drive lever corresponds to that of the closing lever. The conversion of the drive lever's rotary motion into the drive element's linear motion via a cam guide is also mechanically simple and therefore less prone to failure.

[0039] Furthermore, the closing system according to the invention can be designed so that, in the assembled state of the closing system, the locking lever can be controlled via the transmission unit by the release unit as a function of the opening angle of the fixed leaf and can be moved into its locking position. In this way, it can be made possible, for example, that the closing sequence control is triggered even at small opening angles of the fixed leaf, such as 5° or less. In particular, this dependence on the opening angle of the fixed leaf ensures that this can also be guaranteed for closing systems in which, as already described for the active leaf, a sliding block of the first door closer coupled to the fixed leaf also performs a movement in its guide rail that has a turning point.

[0040] The closing system according to the invention can also be characterized in that the closing system has a follower flap that can be arranged on the fixed leaf, wherein the follower flap opens the active leaf when the fixed leaf is opened. The follower flap is designed such that it opens the active leaf sufficiently even at small opening angles of the fixed leaf to trigger the closing sequence control. This ensures the reliable closing of both leaves of the double-leaf door, even when the fixed leaf is open.

[0041] Furthermore, the closing system according to the invention can be further developed such that, when the fixed leaf is opened, the follower flap opens the active leaf at least up to an opening angle of the active leaf that is greater than its activation opening angle. When the active leaf reaches its activation opening angle, the position of the locking lever is switched. Since the active leaf is opened by the follower flap to an opening angle greater than this activation opening angle, it can be ensured that, in any case, during the subsequent closing process of the active leaf, an opening angle range is covered in which the locking lever is in its active position, either before or after reaching the activation opening angle.Since the opening of the fixed leaf triggers the closing sequence control and the locking lever is therefore in its locking position, the locking of the closing process of the active leaf can thus be ensured.

[0042] Furthermore, the problem is solved by a double-leaf door with an active leaf and a fixed leaf, comprising a door closer system with a first door closer for the fixed leaf and a second door closer for the active leaf. The double-leaf door according to the invention is characterized in that the door closer system is designed according to the invention. All the advantages described above with regard to a door closer system according to the invention can thus also be provided by a double-leaf door according to the invention that incorporates the door closer system according to the invention.

[0043] The invention is described below with reference to the figures. Elements with the same function and mode of operation are each provided with the same reference numerals in the figures.

[0044] They show schematically: Fig. 1 An embodiment of the double-leaf door according to the invention, Fig. 2 A first embodiment of the locking unit with the locking lever in its two positions, Fig. 3 The embodiment of the locking unit of Fig. 2 with the locking lever in its two positions, Fig. 4. The embodiment of the locking unit of Fig. 2 in its two mounting orientations, Fig. 5 A second embodiment of the locking unit, and Fig. 6 The embodiment of the locking unit of Fig. 5 with the locking lever in its two positions.

[0045] Fig. 1 Figure 1 shows a double-leaf door 200 according to the invention, comprising a fixed leaf 210 and an active leaf 220. The door 200 is further equipped with a door closer system 100 according to the invention. The door closer system 100 has, in particular, a first door closer 110 for the fixed leaf 210 and a second door closer 120 for the active leaf 220. As shown, the entire door closer system 100 can be arranged on the door 200 in a hinge-side mounting configuration.

[0046] In particular, the second door closer 120, preferably and as shown, both door closers 110, 120, is / are equipped with a slide rail 132 in which a slide block 134 is slidably mounted. As shown, a single, continuous slide rail 132 can be provided for both door closers 110, 120. Designs with two separate slide rails 132 for both door closers 110, 120 are also conceivable, for example, to utilize the freed-up installation space for additional elements, such as a smoke and / or fire detector. The slide block 134 is rotatably connected via a closer lever 140 to a closer unit 130 of the second door closer 120, which is arranged on the door leaf of the active leaf 220. It should be noted that, in particular, for example, in the illustrated opposite-side mounting of a closing system 100, the sliding block 134 in the slide rail 132 performs a movement 136 which has a turning point.A section of the sliding rail 132 is thus traversed twice by the sliding block 134.

[0047] Furthermore, the door closer system 100 according to the invention is equipped with a closing sequence control 10. This closing sequence control 10 ensures that, when the fixed leaf 210 is open, a complete closing process of the active leaf 220 is prevented and that the closing process is blocked and thus stopped at the latest when the active leaf 220 reaches a certain opening angle, so that a correspondingly executed closing process of the fixed leaf 210 cannot be hindered and can be completed. For this functionality, the closing sequence control 10 has a release unit 20 coupled to the first door closer 110, a transmission unit 30, and a locking unit 40.The locking unit 40 is intended for the actual locking of the second door closer 120, whereby the transmission unit 30 transmits a triggering of the closing sequence control 10 by the release unit 20, in particular triggered by an opening of the fixed leaf 210 beyond a release angle, to the locking unit 40.

[0048] A follower flap 104 ensures that when the fixed leaf 210 is opened, the active leaf 220 is also pushed open. The follower flap 104 opens the active leaf 220 sufficiently to ensure that the closing sequence control 10 is triggered and functions effectively, particularly up to an opening angle at which the closing sequence control 10 is fully triggered and the fixed leaf 210 is completely closed.

[0049] Fig. 2 bis 4 Figure 1 shows a first possible embodiment of the closing system 100 according to the invention for a double-leaf door 200 according to the invention, in particular showing the locking unit 40 in the area of the second door closer 120. Fig. 2 bis 4 They will therefore be described together below, with each presentation being discussed separately.

[0050] In the Fig. 2 and 3 Two illustrations A and B of the locking unit 40 are shown, with the illustration in Fig. 2 a side view, in Fig. 3 a corresponding sectional view is shown. Further details are in Fig. 2 In both illustrations, a blocking lever 80 is in the same position and a locking lever 60 is in different positions. Fig. 3 In contrast, the blocking lever 80 is shown in different positions and the locking lever in the same position.

[0051] According to the invention, the locking unit 30 comprises a retaining section 50 arranged in the slide rail 132 and a sliding block section 70 arranged on the sliding block 134. In the illustrated embodiment, the retaining section 50 is also composed of several assemblies, in particular a mounting section 52 and a lever section 56, which are connected to each other by a damping spring 54. The mounting section 52 is fixed in the slide rail 132, while the lever section 56 is slidably mounted. This allows forces, which occur particularly when the locking lever 80 initially strikes the locking lever 60, to be at least partially dampened. Over-pressing of the locking unit 40 is also possible if this force exceeds a corresponding over-pressing limit.

[0052] Will the fixed wing 210 (cf. Fig. 1 When the door is opened, the closing sequence control 10 is triggered. This trigger is transmitted via the transmission unit 30, for example by a push rod, to the locking unit 40, in particular the holding section 50. Alternatively, a Bowden cable, for example, can be used instead of the push rod shown. This pivots the locking lever 60, which is rotatably mounted in the lever section 56, in particular from its release position 64 ( Fig. 2A ), which is taken without triggering, into its blocking position 62 ( Fig. 2B , 3A, B In this locking position 62, the locking lever 60 is arranged such that it positively contacts a blocking lever 80 when the latter is in its active position 82 ( Fig. 2A , B, 3A). Another movement 136 (cf. Fig. 1 ) of the sliding block 132 is thus prevented and the closing process of the swing wing 220 coupled with this movement 136 is blocked.

[0053] In addition to the locking lever 60, the blocking lever 80, which is rotatably mounted in the sliding block section 70, is also available in two positions, namely the passive position 84 ( Fig. 3B ) and the activation position 82 ( Fig. 2A , B, 3A). In particular, the locking lever 80 can be switched bistablely between these positions 82, 84. According to the invention, the switching between the positions 82, 84 of the locking lever 80 takes place at the turning point of the movement 136 of the sliding block 134 in the guide rail 132. In this way, a functionality of the closing sequence control 10 is achieved, namely a reliable locking of a closing process of the active leaf 220 when the inactive leaf 210 is opened (cf. Fig. 1 This is possible without obstructing the opening process of the active leaf 220. By appropriately selecting, positioning, and designing the components used, this can be adapted variably, particularly in various closing systems, to the specific turning point positions implemented there.

[0054] To provide this bistable switching of the blocking lever 80 between the passive position 84 and the active position 82, the sliding block section 70 has a drive unit 72 which, in the illustrated embodiment, is coupled to the closing lever 130 of the second door closer 120 and thus to the active leaf 220. A drive lever 74 of the drive unit 72 is rotationally fixed to the closing lever 130. The drive lever 74 is further mechanically connected via a cam guide 78 to a drive element 76 such that a rotation of the drive lever 74, which is coupled to the rotation of the closing lever 130 and thus to the opening angle of the active leaf 220, is converted into a sliding movement of the drive element 76.

[0055] The drive element 76, in turn, interacts with one of two guide surfaces 88 arranged on the locking lever 80. The two guide surfaces 88 are oriented at an angle to each other and abut each other at the lever axis 86 of the locking lever 80. When the drive element 76 is displaced, which, as described above, is coupled to the opening angle of the gear leaf 220, the drive element 76, in particular one end of the drive element 76, first interacts with one of the guide surfaces 88, see Figure 1. Fig. 3A . Upon reaching an activation opening angle by the gear wing 220, which according to the invention preferably corresponds to the turning point of the movement 136 of the sliding block 134, the guide surface 88, with which the drive element 76 interacts, changes and the locking lever 80 is pivoted into its respective other position 82, 84, as shown from its active position 82 ( Fig. 3A ) into his passive position 84 ( Fig. 3B ) or vice versa. In particular, this switching at the turning point of the movement 136 of the sliding block 134 ensures that even when the closing sequence control is triggered, an opening process of the swing leaf 220 is not obstructed.

[0056] Fig. 4 shows again the Fig. 2 , 3 The embodiment of the closing system 100 according to the invention has already been described, so reference is made to the description above. In particular, in Fig. 4 It is shown that the locking unit 40 can preferably be mounted in a first and an opposite second orientation. This makes it possible, in particular, to prevent the closing of the swing leaf 220 (cf. Fig. 1 ) to lock, which are coupled with movements 136 of the sliding block 134 in the guide rail 132 in different directions. In the double-leaf door 200 according to the invention, in which the movement 136 of the sliding block 132 has a turning point at least for the active leaf 220, this also makes it possible to adjust the opening angle at which the closing process of the active leaf 220 is stopped and locked as desired.

[0057] The Fig. 5 , 6 show a further embodiment of the closing system 100 according to the invention, in particular the locking unit 40, which incorporates many of the advantages and features already described in relation to Fig. 2 bis 4 The described design features, for example, the multi-part structure of the retaining section 50 with fastening section 52, lever section 56 and damping spring 54, the possibility of mounting in different orientations, and in particular the advantage of being able to take into account a turning point of the movement 136 of the sliding block 134 in the slide rail 132. Therefore, the following section will focus in particular on the differences and special features of the Fig. 5 , 6 The blocking unit 40 shown was addressed, and otherwise reference was made to the description above.

[0058] The fundamental difference now regarding the Fig. 5 , 6 described design form compared to the one in Fig. 2 bis 4 The difference shown lies in the fundamental orientation of the respective design form. Thus, in Fig. 2 bis 4 the locking lever 80 pivotable parallel to the side wall of the slide rail 132, in Fig. 5 , 6however, perpendicular to it and thus parallel to a ceiling wall of the sliding rail 132.

[0059] Fig. 5 shows a view of the barrier unit 40, in particular the stopping section 50, Fig. 6A , B a corresponding sectional view in which the in Fig. 5 Hidden elements of sliding block section 70 are visible. In all illustrations, Fig. 5 as well as Fig. 6A , B, the locking lever 60 is shown in its locking position 62. The blocking lever 80, in turn, is in Fig. 6A in its active position 82, in Fig. 6B in its passive position 84.

[0060] As shown, the locking lever 60, in its locking position 62, projects into the slide rail 132 and thus blocks a correspondingly aligned locking lever 80 in its active position 82 in one direction within the area covered twice. Due to a difference compared to Fig. 4 , 5By mirroring the arrangement of the locking unit 40 in the slide rail 132 and simultaneously rotating the sliding block 134 by 180°, a blockage of the movement of the sliding block 134 in the opposite direction in the double-swept area can also be provided.

[0061] The illustrated embodiment is characterized in particular by the mechanism for switching the locking lever 80 between its two positions 82 and 84. The drive unit 72 has a drive lever 74 that is directly and rotationally fixedly coupled to the closing lever 130. This drive lever 74 interacts directly with one of two guide surfaces 88 located on the locking lever 80. The two guide surfaces 88 are again oriented at an angle to each other and abut each other at the lever axis 86 of the locking lever 80. When the drive lever 74 rotates, a rotation linked to the opening angle of the gate leaf 220, the drive lever 74 first interacts with one of the guide surfaces 88 (see figure). Fig. 6A . When the gear wing 220 reaches an activation opening angle, the guide surface 88, with which the drive lever 74 interacts, changes and the locking lever 80 is pivoted into its respective other position 82, 84, as shown from its active position 82 ( Fig. 6A ) into his passive position 84 ( Fig. 6B ) or vice versa. In particular, this switching at the turning point of the movement 136 of the sliding block 134 ensures that even when the closing sequence control is triggered, the opening process of the swing leaf 220 is not obstructed. A spring arrangement 94, for example formed by a leaf spring 96 bent towards the locking lever 80, and a corresponding spring section 90 provided on the locking lever 80, in particular a projection 92, ensure the bistability of the switching of the locking lever 80 between its two positions 82, 84.
