Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a fire-resistant housing according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] A fire-resistant enclosure of the type mentioned above is known from patent document DE 10 2020 112 493 B3 (see in particular Figure 8 therein). This enclosure consists of a housing top, a through-opening in the housing top leading to an interior of the fire-resistant enclosure, and a ventilation device arranged externally on the housing top with an air duct extending between an ambient air inlet and the through-opening (thus connecting the interior of the fire-resistant enclosure with its surroundings during steady-state operation). A fan is provided in the air duct, and the ventilation device comprises a ventilation housing mounted on the fire-resistant enclosure. This design includes a ventilation flap that is held open by the fan during operation. For this purpose, the ventilation flap is elastically designed and serves as a cold smoke barrier.Should a fire occur in the housing with this solution, self-expanding seals in the fire-resistant housing serve to seal off the fire.
[0003] The invention is based on the objective of improving a fire-resistant enclosure of the type mentioned above. In particular, a fire-resistant enclosure that is even more effective in the event of a fire is to be created.
[0004] This problem is solved with a fire protection housing of the type mentioned at the outset by the features listed in the characterizing portion of claim 1.
[0005] According to the invention, a closing flap, designed as a fire protection plate made of a mineral plate material, is arranged in the air duct in case of fire, which closes the air duct.
[0006] In other words, the solution according to the invention is characterized by the fact that a closing flap, designed (essentially) like a wall of the fire-resistant housing, is provided for closing the through-opening. Thus, in the event of a fire, intumescent seals are no longer required; rather, the closing flap transforms the originally partially open fire-resistant housing into a completely closed one.
[0007] Other advantageous embodiments of the solution according to the invention are set forth in the dependent claims. Separate protection is also claimed for a ventilation device for a fire-resistant housing according to any one of claims 1 to 9.
[0008] For the sake of completeness, reference is also made to the documents DE 94 09 609 U1, DE 88 12 475 U1, DE 39 27 013 A1 and DE 103 58 472 A1.
[0009] The fire protection housing according to the invention, including its advantageous further developments according to the dependent claims, is explained in more detail below with reference to the graphic representation of two exemplary embodiments. It shows
[0010] Figure 1 in section (along line AA from Figure 2 ) the fire protection housing with the closure flap according to the invention; Figure 2 in front view of the fire protection housing according to Figure 1 Figure 3 in section (along line BB from Figure 4 ) the fire-resistant housing according to Figure 1 Figure 4 shows a top view of the fire protection housing with the ventilation device according to Figure 1 Figure 5 shows the front view of the ventilation device (without fire protection housing) according to Figure 2 Figure 6 in section (along line CC in Figure 5 ) the ventilation system according to Figure 5with a fusible link to hold the closing flap; and Figure 7 in section an alternative embodiment of the ventilation device with an electromagnet to hold the closing flap.
[0011] The fire-resistant enclosure shown in the figures always consists of an enclosure top 1, a passage opening 1.1 in the enclosure top 1 leading to an interior space 1.2 of the fire-resistant enclosure, and a ventilation device 2 arranged externally on the enclosure top 1 with an air duct 2.1 extending between an ambient air opening 2.2 and the passage opening 1.1. More precisely, it is preferably provided that the ventilation device 2 is optionally arranged above the passage opening 1.1 and / or that the interior space 1.2 is accessible from the outside via a smoke-tight door.
[0012] Furthermore, as shown, a fan 2.5 is provided in the air duct 2.1. The fan 2.5 is designed for continuous operation. It must be switched off if smoke / flames develop inside the fire-resistant enclosure or if there is an external fire hazard. Switch-off is achieved by interrupting its power supply. This interruption can be triggered by a signal from a smoke detector, by the tripping of a thermal fuse, or similar means. Additionally, a ventilation flap 2.7, which is held open by the fan 2.5 while it is operating, is preferably provided in the air duct 2.1.
[0013] Essential to the fire protection housing according to the invention is the arrangement of a fire-resistant flap 2.3 in the air duct 2.1. This flap, formed from a mineral sheet material or panel material, closes the air duct 2.1 in the event of a fire, and the aforementioned ventilation flap 2.7 is preferably provided in addition to the fire-resistant flap 2.3. The aforementioned fire-resistant flap 2.3 is preferably designed as a rectangular panel. The mineral content is at least 50% by weight, preferably more than 70% by weight, and particularly preferably more than 90% by weight of the total weight of the fire-resistant flap. Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the fire protection housing itself is also formed from a mineral sheet material, preferably with the same aforementioned mineral content (referring, of course, to the fire protection housing).
[0014] As particularly well as can be seen from the Figures 6 and 7It is also preferably provided that the plate-shaped closure flap 2.3 is arranged with its main plate plane inclined to the horizontal in the opening position and horizontally (not shown separately because it is easily imaginable) in the closing position.
[0015] In more detail, it is further preferred that the closing flap 2.3 be held in the open position by a retaining device. If it is not held open by the retaining device, it closes automatically due to its own weight or gravity. The closed closing flap ensures that, in the event of smoke and / or flames inside the fire-resistant housing or in the event of an external fire, the passage opening 1.1 in the housing ceiling 1 is closed. It is further preferred that the retaining device optionally incorporates a fusible link 2.3.1 (sufficient in the case of external fire exposure, see also Figure 6 and also https: / / de.wikipedia.org / w / index.php?title=Schmelzlot&oldid=1932 92326) and / or an electromagnet 2.3.2 (especially in case of internal fire exposure, see also Figure 7). In order to be able to influence the solution according to the invention from the outside, it is also preferably provided that the ventilation device 2, in particular optionally the fan 2.5 and / or the holding device (if it includes an electromagnet) is connected to a higher-level control device (for example, a control center, not shown separately). The holding function can preferably be deactivated by various signals, for example, a signal from a smoke detector when smoke is generated inside the fire protection enclosure or a power interruption by triggering a thermal fuse when a predetermined temperature is exceeded at the point of use of the fire protection enclosure.
[0016] Furthermore, in this context it is also preferably provided that in the open position of the closing flap 2.3 the holding device is arranged on an upper third and a pivot joint 2.3.3 on a lower third of the closing flap 2.3.
[0017] As can be seen from the figures, the ventilation device 2 further comprises a ventilation housing 2.4, preferably cuboid in shape, mounted on the fire-resistant housing and preferably attached to the fire-resistant housing, particularly preferably screwed on. The ventilation housing 2.4 preferably has an air inlet opening 2.4.1 associated with the through-opening 1.1. Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the aforementioned ambient air opening 2.2 is closed with an air-permeable grille, preferably a (so-called) louvered grille.
[0018] As can be seen particularly well from the Figure 6and especially 7, the air duct 2.1 preferably has several, preferably three, duct sections 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.1.3.
[0019] The first duct section 2.1.1 preferably extends from the through-opening 1.1, in particular the air inlet opening 2.4.1, to a fan 2.5. Airflow in the first duct section 2.1.1 preferably runs vertically at the beginning and horizontally at the end. Furthermore, it is preferably provided that a second duct section 2.1.2 (also called an intermediate chamber) extends from a fan 2.5 to a shut-off opening 2.6 that can be closed by the flap 2.3. Airflow in the second duct section 2.1.2 (originating from the first duct section 2.1.1) preferably runs horizontally at the beginning and vertically at the end. The wall of the second duct section 2.1.2 is preferably formed by the housing roof 1 itself, so that the ventilation housing 2.4 does not need to be separately closed from below.
[0020] Furthermore, it is preferably provided that a third channel section 2.1.3 (also called the outflow chamber) extends from a shut-off opening 2.6, which can be closed by the flap 2.3, to the ambient air opening 2.2. An airflow (coming from the second channel section 2.1.2) in the third channel section 2.1.3 preferably runs vertically at first and horizontally at the end.
[0021] The aforementioned ventilation flap 2.7, preferably designed as an elastic membrane or sheet metal, which is always shown closed in the figures (and therefore difficult to see), is furthermore preferably arranged between the first and second channel sections 2.1.1, 2.1.2 and preferably behind the fan 2.5 when viewed in the direction of airflow.
[0022] Regarding the supply air, it is intended that this is preferably supplied via the base. The base panel is preferably designed to be shorter, so that an air gap is created between it and the bottom plate (i.e., the bottom of the fire-resistant enclosure). The supply air flows through this air gap under the base assembly and is preferably directed into the enclosure via the ventilation flap (mounted on the back wall of the enclosure). An intumescent material is preferably arranged on the side of the base panel facing the air gap; this material expands in the event of a fire and seals the air gap. Reference symbol list
