Abstract
An underwater exploration vehicle (1) comprising (i) a hull (10) defining an immersion chamber, (ii) a plurality of orifices (2) arranged on the hull (10), each orifice being in fluid communication with the environment external to the underwater exploration vehicle (1) and being fluidly coupled with the immersion chamber, (iii) two propulsion assemblies located on either side of the immersion chamber, (iv) a single electric battery electrically coupled to an electric motor of each propulsion assembly, (v) a control unit electrically connected to the electric battery and to each propulsion assembly, so as to control said electric battery and the propulsion assemblies. According to the invention, the orifices (2) are configured to prevent a flow of water into the immersion chamber when the underwater exploration vehicle (1) is moving on the surface of the water or in the water.
