Abstract
A compressor assembly can include a main housing and a sound attenuation housing at least partially surrounding an outer perimeter of the main housing. The sound attenuation housing can include a layer of sound attenuating material. The compressor can also include a seal assembly including a pair of seals on each rotor shaft of the compressor, wherein a breather valve is provided in fluid communication with a space between the pair of seals to prevent migration of lubricant oil into the compressor airflow path.
