Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a worktop, in particular for a workshop trolley or a workbench.
[0002] Conventional workshop trolleys have compartments in a plastic worktop, a wooden worktop, or a metal surface. Separate storage containers or other accessories are placed loosely on the worktop. The object of the present invention is to provide a mobile or stationary worktop that enables an organized and variable arrangement or routing of storage containers or accessories.
[0003] This object is achieved by the subject matter having the features according to the independent patent claims. Further embodiments are shown in the dependent claims.
[0004] According to a first aspect of the present invention, a worktop is provided. The worktop comprises a base plate having at least one peripheral side on which a separate frame part is arranged. The frame part has a guide rail, which is designed either as a recessed guide rail or as a raised guide rail.
[0005] In the context of the present invention, the worktop can have a polygonal, preferably rectangular, perimeter. A peripheral side of the worktop is accordingly a substantially straight outer side of the worktop, which is delimited by two corners of the polygonal worktop.
[0006] The guide rail on the separate frame part allows accessories such as containers to be positioned variably, allowing the user to organize their accessories and make optimal use of the available work space or to omit accessories such as containers in order to use the entire area as a work surface (area).
[0007] The worktop of the present invention facilitates operation by the user, as the guide rail makes it easier to arrange the accessory(s), for example, on a workshop trolley. This offers the user the opportunity for self-organization. With a raised guide rail in combination with a suitably designed work surface on the base plate, a second storage or organization level can also be created.
[0008] In one embodiment, the worktop further comprises at least one accessory that is releasably engaged with the guide rail. This allows various accessories to be exchanged as required.
[0009] In one embodiment, the accessory has an engagement device complementary to the guide rail. This ensures stable guidance and retention of the accessory. Furthermore, it can be ensured that only certain accessories, namely those with the complementary engagement device, can be attached to the guide rail, so that only predetermined accessories can be arranged on the frame part. Accordingly, a standard can be defined by the guide rail and the complementary engagement device.
[0010] In one embodiment, the accessory engages the guide rail in a form-fitting or force-fitting manner, allowing the accessory to be securely held on the guide rail. For example, the accessory can snap into place on the guide rail.
[0011] In one embodiment, the accessory part can be moved along the guide rail in a positively guided or continuously adjustable manner, so that the user can position the accessory part as required.
[0012] In one embodiment, the accessory is a container, for example, a small parts box. The accessory can also be a tool or a (further) fastening or operating element.
[0013] In one embodiment, the frame part comprises a molded part, in particular an injection-molded or extruded part, preferably made of plastic. The plastic frame part can additionally comprise a deep-drawn element made of sheet metal or plastic. The frame part can also be made of stainless steel, to which a plastic element, for example an injection-molded element, is attached. In one embodiment, the frame part is a profile. The profile design enables particularly cost-effective production.
[0014] In one embodiment, the frame part comprises a deep-drawn element made of sheet metal, on or to which a molded part, in particular made of plastic, is preferably attached. The deep-drawn element can be joined to the molded part as an injection-molded part by insert molding. During insert molding, the deep-drawn element is overmolded, so that the molded part is formed thereon. Alternatively, the deep-drawn element can be formed separately and, for example, screwed, pressed, or snapped onto the molded part.
[0015] The deep-drawn element can provide mechanical stability for the frame part and, if necessary, for attaching or mounting the frame part to the base plate, while the molded part can provide the desired shape on the top side of the worktop, including the guide rail. The deep-drawn element located on the inside can be adjustable or positionable in relation to the molded part located on the top, allowing the frame part to be attached to base plates of different sizes or shapes. The deep-drawn element can be secured to the base plate by means of one or more clamping screws or other connecting elements (e.g. rivets). In addition, different deep-drawn elements can be attached to the same molded part to enable attachment to different base plates. It is also possible for different molded parts to be attached to one and the same deep-drawn element to enable any desired shape and / or functionality on the top of the worktop.
[0016] In one embodiment, the frame part completely encloses the peripheral side of the base plate in cross-section. This not only visually enhances the worktop, but the frame part can also provide edge protection for the base plate. In one embodiment, one or more frame parts completely enclose two opposite peripheral sides of the base plate. In one embodiment, one or more frame parts completely enclose all peripheral sides of the base plate.
[0017] In one embodiment, the frame part extends over the entire length of the perimeter of the base plate. This also visually enhances the worktop, and the frame part can provide edge protection for the base plate. Furthermore, the frame part can be securely attached to the base plate.
[0018] In one embodiment, the guide rail is formed on a top side or on an inward-facing side of the frame part. Depending on the design, the accessories can then be attached to the guide rail either from above or from the side.
[0019] In one embodiment, the base plate is made of wood, plastic, or metal, preferably stainless steel. This makes the base plate suitable for heavy-duty work.
[0020] In one embodiment, the frame part has a beveled section that slopes upwards from the guide rail toward the outside. This simplifies the connection of the accessory and the guide rail. For example, the accessory can be placed with its engagement device onto the beveled section so that it automatically slides into the guide rail.
[0021] In one embodiment, the frame part extends beyond at least one corner of the base plate. This allows the frame part to be securely attached to the base plate and also provides corner protection for the base plate.
[0022] In one embodiment, the frame part has a raised portion on its upper side at the corner of the base plate. In one embodiment, the frame part has a receiving portion on its underside at the corner of the base plate, which receiving portion is configured to receive a raised portion of a similar frame part of a worktop arranged thereabove. In one embodiment, the raised portion is beveled such that at least its peripheral side tapers upwards. This advantageously makes it possible to stack the worktop and a worktop arranged thereabove.
[0023] In one embodiment, positioning aids are formed on the raised section, for example for various markings (e.g. type plates, owner names,...), also to facilitate stacking of the worktop.
[0024] In one embodiment, the frame part is U-shaped in plan view and can be plugged onto the peripheral side of the base plate. This allows the frame part to be securely plugged onto the base plate and covers the entire peripheral side of the base plate. Advantageously, with a rectangular base plate, two identical, U-shaped frame parts can be plugged onto the opposite peripheral sides of the base plate, forming a symmetrical worktop.
[0025] In one embodiment, an undercut is formed in the frame part in front of or behind the recessed guide rail, which undercut is configured to guide a pin of the accessory. In one embodiment, a recess is formed in the frame part above the undercut, which is configured to insert the pin into the undercut. This ensures a defined insertion of the accessory into the frame part. The undercut can prevent the accessory from accidentally detaching from the frame part.
[0026] According to a second aspect of the present invention, a workshop trolley is provided which is equipped with the worktop.
[0027] According to a third aspect of the present invention, a frame part is provided which has a guide rail which is designed either as a recessed guide rail or as a raised guide rail, wherein the frame part is configured to be attached to a base plate so that the worktop is formed.
[0028] According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, an accessory is provided which is configured to be attached to the guide rail of the frame part.
[0029] In the following, exemplary embodiments of the present invention are described in detail with reference to the following figures. Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a worktop according to an embodiment. Figure 2 shows a cross-sectional view of the worktop of the Figure 1 . Figure 3 shows a detail X from the Figure 2 .
[0030] The same or similar components in different figures are provided with the same reference numerals. Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a worktop 1 according to an embodiment, Figure 2 shows a cross-sectional view of the worktop 1 of the Figure 1 and the Figure 3 shows a detail X from the Figure 2 . The worktop 1 comprises a base plate 2, which has at least one peripheral side 3, and a separate frame part 4 on the peripheral side 3 of the base plate 2. The frame part 4 has a guide rail 5, which can be designed either as a recessed guide rail 5 or as a raised guide rail. The guide rail preferably has a depth or height in a range between 3 and 20 mm, more preferably in a range between 5 and 15 mm. In the illustrated embodiment, the guide rail 5 is designed as a recessed guide rail. The frame part 4 is preferably a
[0031] The frame part 4 can be a molded part, in particular an injection-molded or extruded part, particularly preferably made of plastic. In a simple embodiment, the frame part 4 can also be a profile. The base plate 2 is preferably made of wood, plastic, or metal, more preferably stainless steel.
[0032] At least one accessory 6 can be arranged on the worktop 1, which is in releasable engagement with the guide rail 5. In the illustrated embodiment, the accessory 6 is a container. According to the Figure 3The accessory 6 has an engagement device 61 complementary to the guide rail 5, which can be designed, for example, as a pin that can be inserted into the recessed guide rail 5 from above. If the guide rail 5 is designed as a raised guide rail, the complementary engagement device 61 can have the shape of a groove adapted to the raised guide rail. The width of the guide rail 5 depends on the accessory 6 to be accommodated.
[0033] The accessory part 6 can be moved along the guide rail 5 in a positively guided or continuously adjustable manner. The guide rail 5 and the complementary engagement device 61 can be designed such that the accessory part 6 engages with the guide rail 5 in a form-fitting or force-fitting manner. In a form-fitting connection, an undercut (not shown) can be formed in the frame part 4 in front of or behind the recessed guide rail 5, which is configured to guide a corresponding hook-shaped pin (not shown) of the accessory part 6. A recess 11 can be formed in the frame part 4 above the undercut, which can be configured to insert the hook-shaped pin into the undercut. The recess 11 can also serve to secure (screw) the frame part 4 to the workshop trolley and to further secure permanently installed accessories. In the exemplary embodiment of the Figure 1Two recesses 11 are arranged on opposite sides of the frame part 4. In addition, a locking device can be provided between the guide rail 5 and the accessory part 6, so that the accessory part 6 locks onto or into the guide rail 5.
[0034] In the cross section of the Figure 3 It can be seen that the frame part 4 completely encloses the peripheral side 3 of the base plate 2, ie the frame part 4 completely covers the peripheral side 3 of the base plate 2. From the Figure 1It is also apparent that the frame part 4 extends over the entire length of the circumferential side 3 of the base plate 2. The frame part 4 extends beyond both corners at the respective ends of the circumferential side 3 of the base plate 2. In the illustrated embodiment, two identical frame parts 4 are provided, each of which is U-shaped in a plan view and is plugged onto the opposite circumferential side 3 of the base plate 2. The frame parts 4 can be plugged or pressed onto the base plate 2 in a force-fitting manner, or they can be secured to the base plate 2 by means of a screw connection.
[0035] In the illustrated embodiment, the guide rail 5 is formed on an upper side of the frame part 4, but it can also be formed on an inward-facing side of the frame part 4. In this case, the accessory part 6 can be pressed laterally into or against the guide rail.
[0036] The frame part 4 has a beveled section 7, which slopes upwards from the guide rail 5 to the outside. This simplifies the connection of the accessory part 6 and the guide rail 5. For example, the accessory part 6 can be placed with its engagement device 61 onto the beveled section 7 so that it automatically slides into the guide rail 5. The frame part 4 further has a raised section 8 on its upper side at the corner of the base plate 2 and a receiving section 9 on its underside at the corner of the base plate 2, which receiving section is configured to receive a raised section 8 of a similar frame part 4 of a worktop 1 arranged above it. The raised section 8 is beveled such that at least its peripheral side tapers upwards, as shown in the Figure 3A top side of the raised portion 8 is beveled in such a way that it rises outwards, as shown in the Figure 2 can be seen. Positioning aids 10 are formed on the raised portion 8. This advantageously makes it possible to easily stack the worktop 1 and the worktop 1 arranged above it.
[0037] According to the Figure 3The frame part 4 has a deep-drawn element 41 made of a metal sheet, to which a molded part 42 made of plastic is attached. The deep-drawn element 41 ensures mechanical stability of the frame part. The molded part 42 provides the desired shape on the upper side, including the guide rail 5. In addition, the frame part 4 can be attached to the base plate 2 by means of the deep-drawn element 41. The deep-drawn part 41 has a vertical section 411 and a horizontal section 412, so that the deep-drawn part 41 is particularly torsion-resistant. The horizontal section 412 can be placed on the upper side of the base plate 2, and the vertical section 411 can optionally be placed on the peripheral side 3 of the base plate 2. In the illustrated embodiment of the Fig. 3However, a gap is provided between the vertical section 411 and the peripheral side 3 of the base plate 2. The deep-drawn element 41 can be secured to the base plate 2 by means of one or more clamping screws or other connecting elements 413, which are arranged, for example, on the vertical section 411.
[0038] In one embodiment, the assembly of the frame part 4 to the base plate is carried out in such a way that first the deep-drawn element 41 without the molded part 42 attached to it is secured to the base plate 2, for example with the clamping screw(s) 413. In the next step, the molded part 42 can then be placed onto the deep-drawn element 41, for example by means of a latching device, a snap-in connection, a pressing connection or a screw connection.
[0039] It is possible for the internally arranged deep-drawn element 41 to be adjustable or positionable with respect to the upper molded part 42, so that the frame part 4 can be attached to base plates 2 of different sizes or shapes. Furthermore, it is possible for different deep-drawn elements 41 to be attached to one and the same molded part 42 to enable attachment to different base plates 2. It is also possible for different molded parts 42 to be attached to one and the same deep-drawn element 41 to enable any desired shape and / or functionality on the upper side of the worktop 1.
[0040] The corners of frame part 4 are chamfered in a plan view. Alternatively, the corners of frame part 4 can be rounded with a radius. A projection 420 is provided in the lower area of each corner of frame part 4, which facilitates stacking of frame parts 4.
[0041] The worktop 1 is particularly preferably used as a worktop 1 for a workshop trolley.
[0042] The exemplary embodiments can be modified in many ways. It is possible to attach or hang accessories 6, such as small parts boxes, all the way around the outer edge of the frame part 4. The accessories 6 do not have to rest on the base plate 2, but can also be hung on the guide rail 5 of the frame part 4 so that they are located outside the worktop 1. In this case, it is advantageous if an undercut is formed in the frame part 4 in front of the recessed guide rail 5, which is configured to guide a pin of the accessory 6.
[0043] The accessories 6, such as the containers, can have any size and shape. Only their engagement devices 61 are the same or at least similar.
[0044] The guide rail 5 can alternatively be made at least partially of wood, completely of metal or completely of plastic.
[0045] The deep-drawn element 41 and / or the molded part 42 can have a locking device to which the accessories 6, such as containers or cases, can be locked.
[0046] The worktop 1 can be used not only in workshop trolleys, but also on workbenches, assembly benches, vehicle equipment, etc.
[0047] Additionally, it should be noted that "comprising" does not exclude other elements or steps, and "a" or "an" does not exclude a plurality. Furthermore, it should be noted that features or steps described with reference to one of the above embodiments may also be used in combination with other features or steps of other embodiments described above.
