Abstract

The present invention relates to a plastic carrier bag (1), comprising a continuously designed front (6) and rear wall (8), which merge into one another at the bottom end (2) by means of folding over, and a first (102) and an opposite second side wall (104), wherein the weld seams connecting the side walls and the front or rear wall each extend at an angle from the side edges of the front or rear wall in the direction of or up to the transition (16), and wherein the opening edge (15) of the first side wall (102) and the opening edge (15') of the second side wall (104) are each located below the opening edges (14, 14') of the front wall (6) and rear wall (8).
