Abstract

The invention relates to a housing comprising a housing body (1.4) and a housing cover (1.2), wherein the housing body (1.4) has a cup-like shape with an opening (1.6) and forms an interior (1.3) that can be accessed through the opening (1.6), wherein the housing body (1.4) is made of a metal, wherein the housing body (1.4) has a cylindrical region (1.5) which adjoins the opening (1.6) and onto which the housing cover (1.2) can be fitted in order to close the housing body (1.4), wherein the housing cover (1.2) and the cylindrical region (1.5) have means (1.53) other than for a screw connection for detachable mechanical connection, wherein a plastic ring (3), which is made of a plastic and is adapted at least in sections to an inner contour (1.52) of the cylindrical region (1.5), is introduced into the opening (1.6) and is designed in such a way that the plastic ring (3) projects at least in sections beyond an outer contour (1.51) of the opening adjoining the cylindrical region so that the housing cover (1.2), when being fitted onto the cylindrical region (1.5), is guided by the plastic ring (3).
