Description

[0001] The invention relates to a chuck for winding a plurality of threads, which is rotatably mounted on a spool spindle carrier of a winding device according to the preamble of claim 1 and an associated winding device with the chuck.

[0002] A winding device of this type is known, for example, from DE 10 2022 116 443 B3, which describes and claims an external drive in the form of a traction drive for the chuck.

[0003] In conventional winding machines, several threads are wound onto spools simultaneously, parallel to each other.

[0004] For this purpose, the winding device has a projecting chuck to which several sleeves are attached for receiving the threads wound by the winding device. The chuck is rotatably mounted on the circumference of a support mandrel. The support mandrel is rigidly coupled to a winding spindle carrier, which typically provides a second support mandrel for receiving a further second chuck. Thus, the support mandrels on the winding spindle carrier are arranged offset from each other by 180°. The winding spindle carrier is rotatably mounted in a machine support frame of the winding device, so that essentially continuous winding of the threads alternately at the chucks is possible.

[0005] One chuck is moved into a winding position, while the other chuck is in an off position so that it can be loaded with new sleeves when the sleeves have been wound into a complete coil package.

[0006] The chucks can be driven by a traction drive, in particular a toothed belt drive, which is guided over a toothed ring on the circumference of the chuck and is driven by a drive.

[0007] In other winding devices, the chuck is driven via an internal drive shaft, the internal drive shaft extending in the longitudinal direction of the chuck, so that the internal drive shaft can rotate the spool casing accordingly.

[0008] However, with very long chucks, the problem can arise that, as the weight of the coil packages increases during winding, the chuck deforms excessively due to the bending stress.

[0009] This can be particularly disadvantageous with shaft-driven chucks, as the internal drive shaft is not deformed to the same extent as the spool shell of the chuck.

[0010] Such loads can lead to high wear of the respective drive, especially in chucks whose longitudinal direction is extended to accommodate additional coil packages.

[0011] It is therefore an object of the invention to further develop a chuck in such a way that it can also reliably withstand bending loads when the chuck is designed to project for a very long time.

[0012] This problem is solved according to the invention with a chuck having the features according to claim 1.

[0013] Advantageous further developments of the invention are defined in the pending claims.

[0014] Furthermore, it is an object of the invention to provide a winding device that can be equipped with chucks that project very far and can therefore be operated safely.

[0015] This problem is solved according to the invention with a winding device having the features of claim 11.

[0016] Advantageous further developments of the winding devices are described in the features and feature combinations of the pending claims.

[0017] According to one aspect of the invention, a chuck for winding a plurality of threads is provided, which is rotatably mounted on a spool spindle carrier of a winding device. The chuck has a spool casing projecting from the spindle carrier, which has a sleeve clamping device on its circumference for releasably fixing a plurality of sleeves onto which the plurality of threads can each be fixed, and a drive that rotatably drives the spool casing for winding the threads. The spool casing has a first spool casing sleeve and a second spool casing sleeve, which are coupled to each other at opposite end sections in the longitudinal direction of the spool casing and are rotatably mounted on a support mandrel of the chuck.

[0018] With the chuck according to the invention, it is particularly possible to design particularly long chucks that are rotatably fixed on one side to a spindle carrier and have a free cantilevered end.

[0019] A variety of sleeves can be fixed to the chuck via the clamping device. The clamping device is designed, for example, to be pneumatically releasable, so that pre-tensioned clamping elements are positioned against the sleeves to be fixed.

[0020] By pneumatically releasing the clamping mechanism, the sleeves or the threads wound on the sleeves can be removed from the chuck.

[0021] Since the wound sleeves lead to a greater load on the chuck, the chuck is equipped with a spool jacket consisting of two spool jacket sleeves.

[0022] The two coil sheath sleeves are rotatably mounted next to each other via a load-bearing mandrel.

[0023] This allows the chuck to be lowered further with increasing load. According to the current state of the art, the drive for the spool sleeve is located within the chuck, extending to the end of the chuck, which may also include the projecting end section.

[0024] Therefore, excessive stress on the chuck could negatively affect the internal drive shaft. The solution is a spool casing with several spool sleeves that are rotatably mounted on a support mandrel.

[0025] The support mandrel is the load-bearing element of the chuck and is rotatably fixed to a spool spindle carrier. The spool spindle carrier can, for example, be a turret spindle that rotatably positions at least two spool spindle carriers on a winding device.

[0026] This allows for alternating the winding or unwinding of the spools fixed to the chuck with a synthetic thread. Unwinding, in this context, refers to removing the spools from the chuck.

[0027] According to a design of the chuck, the first coil sleeve and the second coil sleeve are rotatably mounted on the mandrel at two first and second positions spaced apart from each other.

[0028] In this context, a bearing point is understood to be a bearing position of the spool sleeve on the support mandrel that allows the spool sleeve to rotate on the support mandrel.

[0029] The rotation of the coil sleeve can advantageously be effected by a separate drive, which either acts circumferentially on the coil sleeve or acts on the coil sleeve via a shaft inside the support mandrel, so that a rotation of the coil sleeves can be caused.

[0030] The bearing points can, for example, include ball and / or roller bearings, which are advantageously mounted on the support mandrel with damping, so that corresponding deflections caused by the load are not directly transmitted to the support mandrel, but are absorbed and / or dampened accordingly. The damping serves to reduce the vibration amplitudes when passing through the resonances.

[0031] The coil sheath of the chuck according to the invention has two separate coil sheath sleeves which are coupled to each other, wherein the first and second coil sheath sleeve are rotatably mounted on the mandrel by means of two first and second bearing points spaced apart from each other.

[0032] This allows the load transfer of the coil sleeves to the support mandrel via the bearing points, making a particularly long cantilevered chuck possible.

[0033] According to a further embodiment of the chuck, the first coil sleeve has the first bearing point on the coil carrier, at which the first coil sleeve is rotatably mounted on the mandrel and the mandrel extends from the coil spindle carrier.

[0034] Here, the position of the first bearing point in relation to the support mandrel and the spool sleeve is defined more precisely.

[0035] The position specification here defines the position of the support mandrel in relation to its attachment to the spool spindle carrier.

[0036] Advantageously, the first bearing point is also provided at the point where the load transfer takes place on and in the spindle carrier of the chuck.

[0037] According to another embodiment of the chuck, the first coil sleeve has a second bearing point at the coupling point with the second coil sleeve, wherein the second bearing point is positioned in the center of gravity area of the chuck.

[0038] Since the chuck has a coil jacket made of two coil jacket sleeves extending from each other, the coupling point between the first and second coil jacket sleeve serves as the second bearing point.

[0039] This allows for a particularly advantageous load transfer of the chuck. The support mandrel does not need to extend through the entire length of the spool shell, but can be fixed at advantageous positions on the spool shell.

[0040] An advantageous position for the second bearing point is the center of gravity of the chuck. This center of gravity is defined so that it lies at the coupling point of the first and second coil sleeve.

[0041] The coupling point allows the first and second clamping sleeves to rotate together and synchronously, and also allows the load to be transferred at the second bearing point towards the support mandrel.

[0042] According to a preferred embodiment of the chuck, the spool jacket is coupled to the drive at one end section which is positioned adjacent to the spool spindle carrier, or at the end section which is positioned opposite the spool spindle carrier.

[0043] The chuck drive can act on the spool casing at different positions. On the one hand, the drive can be positioned adjacent to the spindle carrier, so that at this point the drive acts directly on the spool casing.

[0044] In another embodiment, the drive can also be coupled to the drive at a position that is spaced apart from the spindle carrier, namely at the opposite end of the spool shell.

[0045] The opposite end of the spool casing is, in particular, the freely projecting end.

[0046] In this design, the driving force of the drive is introduced via a shaft, which extends, for example, partially through the chuck to the coupled end section of the second collet, which borders the end section of the first coil sleeve.

[0047] According to another embodiment of the chuck, the first coil sleeve is coupled to the drive at one end section and rotatably coupled to the second coil sleeve at the other end section, which is opposite to the end section coupled to the drive. This second coil sleeve extends in the longitudinal direction of the chuck from the projecting end section of the first coil sleeve, with the second coil sleeve being positively connected to the first coil sleeve.

[0048] At the second bearing point, the first coil sleeve is also rotatably coupled to the second coil sleeve, so that the torque applied by the drive can be transferred from the first coil sleeve to the second coil sleeve without any losses occurring here.

[0049] Preferably, the first and second coil sheath sleeves are positively connected to each other at their opposite end sections, so that the first and second coil sheath sleeves together form the coil sheath.

[0050] According to another embodiment of the chuck, the first bearing point and / or the second bearing point has a bearing and a damping device which is arranged between the bearing and the support mandrel, so that the first coil sleeve and the second coil sleeve are mounted to rotate damped around the support mandrel.

[0051] For optimal and improved transmission of the occurring load forces to the support mandrel, the bearing points are preferably designed with damping. Suitable damping elements can be provided for this purpose.

[0052] In one embodiment, the damping element can, for example, be a rubber mounting.

[0053] According to a preferred embodiment of the chuck, the first bearing point and / or the second bearing point each have two bearings which are positioned against each other and preloaded.

[0054] In the preferred embodiment, the bearing points, via which the coil jacket or the coil sleeve is rotatably mounted on the support mandrel, are each designed with two bearings, wherein the effect of the bearings is such that they are preloaded and adjusted relative to each other in their direction of action.

[0055] By adjusting and pre-tensioning, a corresponding X or O arrangement can be created, giving the bearing point corresponding properties.

[0056] According to a preferred embodiment of the chuck, the bearings of the first bearing point and / or the bearings of the second bearing point are arranged in an X-arrangement or in an O-arrangement.

[0057] Preloading a bearing arrangement refers to a defined preloading of the two bearings, typically two symmetrically arranged angular contact ball bearings or tapered roller bearings, relative to each other. The name is determined by the position of the pressure line: when the center of pressure is located between the bearing points, it is called an X-arrangement; when it is located outside the bearing points, it is called an O-arrangement. In an O-arrangement, the bearing arrangement can withstand a greater tilting moment than in an X-arrangement because the distance between the centers of pressure is greater in the O-arrangement.

[0058] At the second bearing point, the coupling point between the first clamping sleeve and the second clamping sleeve, an O-arrangement is selected, while at the bearing point, the first coil spindle sleeve on the spindle carrier, an X-arrangement is provided for the respective bearings.

[0059] According to a further embodiment of the chuck, the damping device has at least a groove-shaped groove in the support mandrel and an elastic damping element, in particular a rubber damping.

[0060] To better dampen vibrations caused by the rotation of the spool casing, the bearings are also elastically damped at suitable positions. The damping elements can be provided in corresponding grooves. In a preferred embodiment, this groove is formed as a channel that extends circumferentially around and is formed within the support mandrel.

[0061] According to another aspect, a winding device for winding a plurality of threads is provided by means of a chuck according to at least one of the above embodiments, wherein the drive of the chuck acts at the first bearing point and / or the second bearing point.

[0062] The point of action of the drive at the first or second bearing point offers several advantages.

[0063] Having the drive act at the first bearing point has the advantage that no shaft is needed to drive the chuck, which extends through the entire chuck and can be obstructed by the spool shell if it deflects too much.

[0064] When the drive is operating at the second bearing point, a shortened shaft can be used, which extends only partially through the chuck to at least the second bearing point.

[0065] A shortened shaft can compensate for larger deflections of the surrounding coil shell without limitations than a shaft that extends through the entire chuck.

[0066] In a further embodiment of the winding device, the chuck drive comprises a traction gear and / or an internal drive shaft. The drive is preferably a traction gear if it acts at the first bearing point. If it acts at the second bearing point, it is preferably an internal drive shaft.

[0067] 'According to a further embodiment of the winding device, the traction device has a tensioning roller for tensioning a traction device and a toothed ring which engages with the traction device, wherein the traction device in particular has an arrow-shaped toothed belt.

[0068] The use of the traction drive makes it advantageously possible to provide a shaftless drive for the mandrel on the spool carrier. This advantageously allows for a drive that functions independently of the bending load on the chuck.

[0069] The traction element is preferably a toothed belt with arrow-shaped teeth; the arrow-shaped teeth offer advantages in terms of the bearing and positioning of the toothed belt in the toothed ring, which has corresponding teeth, so that the toothed belt is not driven out of the toothed ring even when the chuck is under load.

[0070] In a further embodiment of the winding device, the toothed ring is positioned at the first bearing point of the first spool sleeve of the spool casing, so that the drive of the traction gear can drive the toothed ring together with the spool casing. The toothed ring engages with the spool casing, allowing the drive to rotate the spool casing, thus enabling the winding and rewinding of the threads using the sleeves and the spool casing.

[0071] In a further embodiment of the winding device, an internal drive shaft of the drive is coupled to the spool casing at the second bearing point, allowing the internal drive shaft to rotate the spool casing. An internal drive shaft can also be used instead of the traction gear. The internal drive shaft has a shaft that extends at least partially through the spool casing to the second bearing point, where the shaft engages with and is coupled to the spool casing, enabling the drive torque to be transmitted to the spool casing.

[0072] The chuck according to the invention and the winding device with the chuck according to the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to some exemplary embodiments and the accompanying figures.

[0073] They represent: Fig. 1 a side view of a winding device with a chuck according to the invention, Fig. 2 a front view of the winding device made of Fig. 1 with an embodiment of the drive of the chuck according to the invention, Fig. 3 a longitudinal sectional view of the chuck according to the invention, Fig. 4 a partial sectional view of the chuck according to the invention at the first bearing point, and Fig. 5 a detailed view of the second bearing point of the chuck according to the invention. [0076] In Fig. 1 The upper chuck 1, adjacent to a pressure roller 9, is positioned for winding threads 24 from a melt spinning device (not shown). As shown here, the threads 24 are already wound onto spools 7 secured to the chuck 1, forming a spool package 8.

[0077] The winding of the threads 24, for example with a cross winding, is supported by the pressure roller 9, which is held and guided against the surface of the spool packages 8 by means of a pressure roller carrier 26, and by a changing device 10, so that the respective thread 24 is wound onto the spool package 8 at the appropriate position. The controlled unwinding of the threads 24 is carried out by means of the changing device 10, which moves the threads 24 back and forth along the spool width of the spool packages 8. For the reliable feeding of the threads 24 to the changing device 10, thread guides 25 are provided on the machine frame 4 of the winding device 100 upstream in the thread direction.

[0078] The drive 6 of the chuck 1 is preferably a traction gear 6, which is in Fig. 1 in a side view and in Fig. 2 shown in a front view.

[0079] Each chuck 1 has its own drive mechanism 6. The drive mechanism 6 has a drive wheel 61 which is coupled to a drive motor 64 via a drive element 62.

[0080] The traction element 62 is arranged on the drive wheel 61, which engages with a toothed ring 63, which engages with a rotatable coil shell 30 of the chuck 1.

[0081] The torque of the drive motor 64 is transmitted to the toothed ring 63 by means of the traction element 62, so that the chuck 1 can be rotated for winding the threads.

[0082] The chuck 1 is rotatably held in the spindle carrier 2 via a bearing bushing. A tension roller 60 is provided to control the engagement of the traction element 62 with the gear ring 63 of the chuck and the drive wheel 61 of the drive motor 64; this is shown in the front view in Fig. 2 The traction element 62 can be a belt and / or a chain.

[0083] Fig. 3 Figure 1 shows a longitudinal section view of the chuck 1 according to the invention. As can be seen from this, the chuck 1 has a sleeve clamping device 70 on its spool shell 30, which has clamping stones (not shown) for holding the sleeves 7 arranged thereon.

[0084] The coil jacket 30 has a first coil jacket sleeve 31 and a second coil jacket sleeve 32, which are rotatably coupled to each other via a second bearing point 50 on a support mandrel 80 and are rotatably mounted on the support mandrel 80.

[0085] The coil jacket 30 or the first coil jacket sleeve 31 is rotatably coupled to the winding device 100 at the first bearing point 40 adjacent to the coil spindle carrier 2 via a first bearing point 40.

[0086] In Fig. 4 The first storage site 40 is shown in detail and in Fig. 5 The second storage site 50 is shown in detail.

[0087] The spool jacket 30 or the associated spool jacket sleeve 31 has a first end section 310 and a second end section 311. The first end section 310 can be mounted adjacent to the spool spindle carrier 2 and has the toothed ring 63, which is frictionally and / or positively coupled to the spool jacket 30, in particular to the first spool jacket sleeve 31.

[0088] At the second end section 311, the first coil sleeve 31 is coupled to the second coil sleeve 32 at its first end section 320 by means of force and / or form locking.

[0089] The second end section 321 of the second spool sleeve 32 is the projecting free end of the spool sleeve 30 or of the chuck 1, so that the wound spool packages 8 can be offloaded or removed from the chuck when the chuck has been rotated into the off position by means of the spool spindle carrier 2.

[0090] The second bearing point 50 on the support mandrel 80 is held by means of a retaining flange 200. This is described in detail in Fig. 5 shown.

[0091] The clamping device 70 is operated via a sealing pressure supply 73 and a release pressure supply 74, whereby compressed air is supplied to release the clamping device via the release pressure supply 73 and discharged via the sealing pressure supply 74 and vice versa.

[0092] Before the coil packages 8 can be opened, the clamping device 70 is relaxed by supplying the sealing air supply 73 to the sleeve clamping device 70 via compressed air lines, which leads to a release of the fixation of the sleeve clamping device 70, so that the coil packages 8 can be removed from the sleeve clamping device 70 or the chuck 1.

[0093] Fig. 4 Figure 1 shows a partial sectional view of the first bearing point 40 together with the support mandrel 80 of the chuck 1 according to the invention. The support mandrel 80 has a mounting section 82 which is rotationally fixed in the winding device 100 or in the winding spindle carrier 2.

[0094] A toothed ring 63 is provided for rotating the spool shell 30, which is coupled to the spool shell 30 and the associated first bearing point 40 by force and / or form locking and is coupled to a drive 64 via a traction element 62.

[0095] The gear ring 63 is driven by means of the traction element 62, preferably a positive-locking chain and / or a friction-locking belt having arrow-shaped teeth.

[0096] The first bearing point 40 has a first bearing 91 and a second bearing 93, which are preloaded in an X-arrangement. Additionally, a damping element 95 is provided below the first bearing 91 and the second bearing 93. The support mandrel 80 has a groove 94 in which the damping element 95 is preferably housed in the form of a rubber bearing.

[0097] In the illustrated embodiment, the groove receptacle 94 is provided with spaced-apart groove-shaped grooves and annular damping elements 95 arranged therein. At the first bearing point 40, the spool jacket 30 or the first spool jacket sleeve 31 is rotatably mounted on the support mandrel 80.

[0098] The compressed air supplied via the pressure relief supply 73 is sealed by a clamping sleeve 72, which is preloaded against associated sealing rings 71.

[0099] In Fig. 5 The second bearing point 50 is shown in a detailed sectional view. At the second bearing point, the spool jacket 30, or the first spool jacket sleeve 31 and the second spool jacket sleeve 32, is additionally rotatably mounted on the support mandrel 80.

[0100] Furthermore, the first coil sheath sleeve 31 is coupled to the second coil sheath sleeve 32 in a rotationally fixed manner.

[0101] The second bearing point 50 is designed similarly to the first bearing point 40. The second bearing point 50 also has a first bearing 91 and a second bearing 93, wherein the first and the second bearings 91, 93 are preloaded against each other in an O-arrangement.

[0102] Furthermore, at the second bearing point 50, the first and second bearings 91, 93 are also arranged on the support mandrel 80 via a damping means 95, so that bending vibrations can be absorbed with the help of the damping means 95.

[0103] The embodiment of the chuck 1 shown in the figures can also have other configurations. For example, the drive 6 can have an internal drive shaft. The internal drive shaft is then connected at the second bearing point 50 to the spool shell 30 via a suitable flange and a shaft (not shown), so that the spool shell can be set in rotation.

[0104] In the Fig. 5 In the illustrated embodiment, a flange 200 is provided which secures the bearings 91, 93 by means of a retaining bolt. The retaining bolt 201 is mounted in a through channel 204 with a threaded section 203.

[0105] In the other embodiment, the shaft of the shaft drive can extend to the flange 200, with an additional rotating flange engaging with the second coil sleeve. Reference symbol list
