Abstract

Embodiments of an insulation packaging material (100) for packing at least one insulating board are provided herein. The insulation packaging material (100) comprises at least one marking (111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 116) on a surface (101) of the insulation packaging material (100). The marking (111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 116) is designed to form a predetermined template adapted in size and shape to be used when cutting a cutout (140, 150) from an insulating board. An insulation board package is provided, the package containing insulation packaging material (100) and at least one insulating board or a plurality of stacked insulating boards. Further, a method of forming a predetermined template from an insulation packaging material, a method of forming an insulating board cutout (140, 150) and a method of forming a self-bearing duct section are provided.
