A regulating valve and a fluid-based distributing system using such regulating valve

Abstract

A regulating valve comprising an obturator (100) with a first and a second fluid chamber (106; 110) is provided. The first fluid chamber is configured to provide an angular fluid flow between the first and the second fluid openings (107, 108) in the obturator. The second flow chamber is defined by a tube (111) that extends between a third fluid opening (112) and a fourth fluid opening (113) arranged in the envelope wall (102) of the obturator. The tube extends inside the first fluid flow chamber. The obturator is configured to be rotated about a central rotation axis L-L, to thereby control a fluid flow through the valve housing (201) between a first port (AB) and one of the second or third ports (A; B) by flowing through the first flow chamber, or between the second and third ports (A; B) only by flowing through the second flow chamber. The first and second flow chambers have different valve flow coefficients. Also, a fluid-based distributing system is provided where the system comprises a first sub-system (1A), a second sub-system (1B), and a regulating valve (200) interconnecting the first and second sub-systems.
