Hair planting apparatus

Abstract

A hair planting apparatus (10) includes a base support mechanism (30) that supports a base material (J), a hair holding mechanism (68) that holds hair for planting (M) on one side of the base material, and a hair planting part (20) that knots the held hair for planting to the base material by hook needles (211 to 231). The hair holding mechanism includes a first gripping mechanism (69) and a second gripping mechanism (70) that individually grip the hair for planting, and the first gripping mechanism (69) includes two sliding plates (692 and 693) that slidably grip the hair for planting, an elastic body (694) that applies gripping pressure to the two sliding plates, and a release mechanism (72) that opens the two sliding plates to release the hair for planting.
