Disclosed is an electronic device comprising a memory circuitry, a processor circuitry, and an interface. The electronic device is configured to obtain declaration data associated with a commodity. The electronic device is configured to predict, based on the declaration data, one or more commodity attributes of the commodity, e.g., by applying a prediction model to the declaration data. The electronic device is configured to provide, based on the one or more predicted commodity attributes, a validation response indicative of a validity of the declaration data.
