Abstract

A pole terminal (100) for a contact pin of a plug comprising a terminal base (108) for a conductor; two resilient contacting arms extending from the base (108), comprising an outer leg (104, 105) and an inner leg (109, 110) positioned between them thereby forming an insertion opening (103) between the legs configured to receive the pin such that the arms are deflected outward upon insertion of the pin into the opening (103), wherein the terminal (100) further comprises locking means (101) comprising a hook and a loop at a portion, the hook configured to catch onto the loop.
