Solid dosage form of a small molecule antiviral and uses thereof

Abstract

The present disclosure is directed to oral dosage forms that comprise an antiviral nucleoside and one or more excipients, wherein the oral dosage form is a tablet. The antiviral nucleoside is selected from prodrugs of β-D-N(4)-hydroxycytidine (I) such as {(2R,3S,4R,5R)-3,4-dihydroxy-5-[4-(hydroxyimino)-2-oxo-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-1(2H)-yl]oxolan-2-yl}methyl 2-methylpropanoate): Compound (A), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, tautomer, or prodrug thereof.
