Abstract

The invention relates to a method for carrying out a payment process for a product (14) in a motor vehicle (10), comprising the steps of: providing a user profile (22) of a user (20) for paying for products (14) in the motor vehicle (10) by means of an electronic computing device (18) of an assistance system (12), at least one identification character string for a real-time debit method (24) being provided for the user profile (22), and at least one online banking access (26) being linked to the user profile (22); detecting an intention of the user (28) to purchase the product (14) by means of a detection device (16) of the assistance system (12); establishing a connection (30) between the online banking access (26) by means of a communication device (20) of the assistance system (12); displaying an approval request (32) for a payment process via the online banking access (26) by means of a display device (34); and carrying out the payment process by means of the real-time debit method (24) by approving the user (28) via the display device (34). The invention also relates to a computer program product and to an assistance system (12).
