Abstract
A twin screw heating pump including a first screw twin and a second screw twin disposed within a casing and axially spaced apart from one another to define a central chamber therebetween, wherein the first screw twin is adapted to convey fluid from an inlet to the central chamber, and wherein the second screw twin is adapted to convey fluid from the central chamber to an outlet, and wherein a volumetric flow rate of the first screw twin is greater than a volumetric flow rate of the second screw twin.
