Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle tyre (2) having an axis of rotation (A) and an annular carcass (8), wherein the carcass (8) is bounded by sidewalls (3) ending in beads (7) on the radially inner side and a carcass section (4) connecting the sidewalls (3) and, when the beads are inserted into a vehicle rim (1), encloses a cavity that can be filled with compressed air by interacting with the vehicle rim (1), and having a tread component (6) arranged on the radially outer side of the carcass (8), wherein the tread component (6) has a tread and reinforcements, wherein the tread component (6) is connected to the radially inner carcass (8) by means of an annular structural component (5) which cannot be filled with compressed air.
