Abstract

The present invention relates to a temperature control system (100) for controlling the temperature of workpieces, in particular for heating vehicle bodies, wherein the temperature control system (100) comprises the following: - at least two temperature control modules (104) which are located one behind the other in a direction of travel (102); and - at least one power module (105) for circulating and controlling the temperature of recirculation air, said power module being placed at least in part between the at least two temperature control modules (104), wherein the at least two temperature control modules (104) and the at least one power module (105) form a temperature control chamber (106) through which the workpieces can be conveyed along the direction of travel (102) in order for their temperature to be controlled by recirculation air. The present invention also relates to a corresponding method for controlling the temperature of workpieces, in particular for heating vehicle bodies.
