AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

The bolt used in existing swinging body pivot mechanisms can easily loosen due to perpendicular forces from swing and vibration, leading to positioning errors that hinder proper mounting of the support pin, making it difficult to connect the pivot shaft and boom bracket.

Method used

A swinging body pivot mechanism with a pivot shaft, first and second members, and a rotation stopper that allows the rotation stopper pin portion to change position along a radial direction while being restricted in a tangential direction, ensuring accurate alignment despite potential position errors.

Benefits of technology

The mechanism ensures secure attachment of the pivot shaft and boom bracket by allowing the rotation stopper pin to adjust to positioning errors, preventing loosening and ensuring stable rotational connections.

Abstract

A swinging body pivot mechanism (P) includes a pivot shaft (2), a first member (31) and a second member (32) coupled to each other via the pivot shaft (2) swingably relative to each other and a rotation stopper (3) attached to the pivot shaft (2). The rotation stopper (3) includes an insertion portion (3e) into which a rotation stopper pin portion (31b) of the first member (31) is inserted. The insertion portion (3e) includes a first width (Wr) in a direction along a first straight line (Dr) that is an imaginary line which extends in a direction matching a radial direction of the pivot shaft (2) and a second width (Wt) in a direction along a second straight line (Dt) that is an imaginary line which is perpendicular to an axis (2a) of the pivot shaft (2) and the first straight line (Dr). The first width (Wr) is defined such as to allow the rotation stopper pin portion (3 1b) inserted in the insertion portion (3e) to change a position thereof in the direction along the first straight line (Dr). The second width (Wt) is defined such that the rotation stopper (3) and the rotation stopper pin portion (31b) are restricted from moving relative to each other in the direction along the second straight line (Dt), the rotation stopper pin portion (31b) being inserted in the insertion portion (3e) and abutting the rotation stopper (3) at at least one of the opposite ends (3e1, 3e2) of the insertion portion (3e) in the direction along the second straight line (Dt).
