The present invention discloses a phytosome-based delivery system for bioactive ingredients, as well as the method for obtaining thereof and compositions comprising thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to phytosomes for an eco-friendly and safe delivery of bioactive compounds, especially natural occurring bioactive compounds, wherein the phytosomes are obtained by a green and eco-friendly method and are useful in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and foodstuff area.
