Abstract

The invention relates to a filter element (10) for a powder conveying chamber of a powder dense phase pump or for forming a powder conveying chamber (4.1) of a powder dense phase pump, wherein, at least during operation of the powder dense phase pump, the powder conveying chamber (4.1) is assigned a powder inlet valve (3.1) and a powder outlet valve (3.2), and wherein, likewise at least during operation of the powder dense phase pump, the powder conveying chamber (4.1) is fluidically connected or connectable alternately to a vacuum source during a suction phase and to a compressed-air source during a delivery phase. The invention provides, in particular, that the filter element (10) is embodied as a cartridge-like component which, during operation of the powder dense phase pump, is received exchangeably or replaceably as a separate structural unit in a filter housing (20).
