System and method for managing network function (NF) operation

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a system (120) and a method (900) for managing NF operation The method (900) includes the step of establishing, by a processor (406), an interface (214) with a microservice (306), the interface (214) enabling orchestration of the NF operation. The method (900) includes the step of requesting, by the processor (406), the microservice (306) to execute the at least one NF operation via the interface (214) based on received user request. The method (900) further includes the step of transmitting, by the processor (406), to a microservice (302), an inventory management request to manage inventory pertaining to resources at a database (212) based on a response received from the DSA (306) pertaining to completion of execution of the at least one of NF operation.
