Abstract

The present invention relates to an container (10) for an electrolysis device (1) comprising a container (10) configured to comprise an electrolyte liquid (40), at least one wire-shaped anode (20) and at least one wire-shaped cathode (30) configured to be connected to a power source (50), wherein the anode (20) and cathode (30) extend a pre-determined distance (D1) into the container (10) and wherein the anode (20) and the cathode (30) are configured in a spiral shape and arranged at a pre-determined distance (D2) from each other. The present invention further relates to an electrolysis device (1) and an associated vehicle (100) each comprising the container (10), as well as a method for reducing unburned hydrocarbons in an internal combustion engine (105).
