Description

[0001] Window breaking device for a motor vehicle, device holder and breaking fastening arrangement

[0002] The invention relates to a window shattering device for a motor vehicle, in particular a bus, a device holder and a shattering fastening arrangement.

[0003] Motor vehicles, in particular buses, can be equipped with a window-breaking device, in particular an emergency hammer, for safety reasons. The window-breaking device is designed to break a window of the motor vehicle. This allows the motor vehicle, in particular the bus, to be exited quickly in an emergency and to move away from a danger zone within the motor vehicle, in particular if the vehicle doors no longer open. The window-breaking device is usually force-fitted to a device holder of the motor vehicle. In the event of a collision and the relatively high forces that occur during this, the window-breaking device may become detached from the device holder and fall down, in particular falling under a vehicle seat. This means that the window breaker device cannot be immediately located in an emergency, making it difficult to quickly exit the vehicle. A window breaker device is also known that is attached to the device holder by means of a fastening lock. However, such a fastening lock is difficult to open in an emergency, which also makes it difficult to quickly exit the vehicle.

[0004] The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a window shattering device for a motor vehicle, a device holder and a shattering fastening arrangement, wherein the aforementioned disadvantages are reduced, preferably not occurring.

[0005] The problem is solved by providing the present technical teaching, in particular the teaching of the independent claims and the preferred embodiments disclosed in the dependent claims and the description. The problem is solved in particular by creating a window-breaking device, in particular an emergency hammer, for a motor vehicle for breaking a motor vehicle window in an emergency. The window-breaking device has an operating element, a handle, and a first closure element. The operating element is designed to act, in particular directly, in particular immediately, on the motor vehicle in order to break the motor vehicle window. The window-breaking device can be gripped by a person at the handle in order to break the motor vehicle window, in particular by means of the operating element. The first closure element is configured to cooperate with a second closure element of a device holder in order to releasably fasten the window breaking device to the device holder by forming a plug-and-twist closure.

[0006] Advantageously, the window-breaking device can be detached, in particular removed, from the device holder particularly easily and quickly. In particular, it is possible to releasably reattach the window-breaking device to the device holder after removal, in particular several times. The window-breaking device is advantageously designed such that it can be grasped by the handle and released by means of a rotational movement, whereby manual re-grasping of the window-breaking device is not necessary for the entire process.

[0007] In the context of the present technical teaching, a plug-and-turn lock is understood in particular to be a mechanical connection between two parts—here, the window-breaking device and the device holder—that can be connected and separated again by plugging them into one another and rotating them in opposite directions by a predetermined angle. In one embodiment, the plug-and-turn lock is designed as a bayonet lock.

[0008] According to a further development of the invention, the first closure element has a holding recess with an open center and at least one fastening opening extending radially outward from the open center. In the circumferential direction, at least one first holding section is arranged around the open center next to the at least one fastening opening, such that a holding pin with at least one second holding section of the second closure element can be guided axially through the open center and the fastening opening and can then be rotated, in particular about a pin axis of the holding pin, such that the at least one second holding section cooperates with the at least one first holding section to releasably fasten the window shattering device to the device holder, forming the plug-and-twist closure.Advantageously, the window breaking device can be attached to the device holder particularly securely and repeatedly detachably.

[0009] According to a further development of the invention, it is provided that the first closure element, in particular the first holding section, has at least one first locking element.

[0010] In one embodiment, the first locking element has a locking recess. In another embodiment, the first locking element has a locking protrusion.

[0011] According to a further development of the invention, the first closure element is arranged on the window-breaking device in such a way that a center of mass of the window-breaking device is located at a spatial, particularly geometric, center of the first closure element. Advantageously, the window-breaking device remains attached to the device holder even under relatively high collision forces, since the torques acting around the pin axis compensate for each other.

[0012] According to a further development of the invention, the window-breaking device comprises a fluorescent material, in particular is coated with a fluorescent material, or consists of a fluorescent material. In particular, the window-breaking device is particularly easy to detect even in dark environments, especially during a power outage or when passing through a tunnel.

[0013] The object is also achieved by providing a device holder for attaching a window-breaking device according to the invention or a window-breaking device according to one or more of the previously described embodiments to a motor vehicle. The device holder has the second closure element. The second closure element is designed to cooperate with the first closure element of the window-breaking device in order to releasably fasten the window-breaking device to the device holder, forming the plug-and-twist closure, in particular a bayonet closure. In connection with the device holder, the advantages already explained in connection with the window-breaking device arise in particular.

[0014] According to a further development of the invention, it is provided that the second closure element has the holding pin with a closed center and the at least one second holding section, in particular holding arm, extending radially outwards from the closed center, so that the holding pin and the at least one second holding section, in particular holding arm, of the second closure element can be guided axially through the open center and the fastening opening of the first closure element and can then be rotated, in particular about the pin axis, such that the at least one second holding section cooperates with the at least one first holding section in order to detachably fasten the window breaking device to the device holder, forming the plug-and-twist closure.

[0015] According to a further development of the invention, it is provided that the second closure element, in particular the second holding section, has at least one second locking element.

[0016] In one embodiment, the second locking element has the locking protrusion, in particular when the first locking element has the locking recess. In another embodiment, the second locking element has the locking recess, in particular when the first locking element has the locking protrusion.

[0017] The object is also achieved by providing a smashing fastening arrangement comprising a window smashing device according to the invention or a window smashing device according to one or more of the previously described embodiments and a device holder according to the invention or a device holder according to one or more of the previously described embodiments. The plug-and-turn closure formed by the first closure element and the second closure element is designed such that the window smashing device can be repeatedly displaced, in particular pivoted, in particular pivoted about the pin axis of the holding pin, between a fastening position in which the window smashing device is fastened to the device holder by means of the plug-and-turn closure, and a release position in which the window smashing device can be removed from the device holder.

[0018] According to a further development of the invention, the first locking element of the first closure element, in particular of the first holding section, cooperates with the second locking element of the second closure element, in particular of the second holding section, to secure the window-breaking device, in particular to prevent displacement, in particular pivoting, of the window-breaking device from the fastening position into the release position when the window-breaking device is releasably fastened to the device holder and is in particular in the fastening position. Advantageously, the window-breaking device can be particularly easily fastened, in particular secured, to the device holder by means of a rotational movement.According to a further development of the invention, the window breaker device has two first holding sections, and the device holder has two second holding sections, in particular holding arms, which are assigned to one another in pairs. In particular, the fastening position and the release position are spaced apart from one another by an angular offset of 90° around the pin axis. Alternatively, the window breaker device has four first holding sections, and the device holder has four second holding sections, in particular holding arms, which are assigned to one another in pairs. In particular, the fastening position and the release position are spaced apart from one another by an angular offset of 45° around the pin axis.
