[0002] The present invention relates to a drawer with a front panel, a rear wall and two side frames between the front panel and the rear wall, on which a base is held, wherein at least one side frame has an inner wall and an outer wall, each of which protrudes downwards from the base.
[0003] WO 2019 / 118997 A1 discloses a double-walled drawer side panel in which a rounded portion is provided on one outer wall to prevent damage to the base when a drawer with such a drawer side panel is placed on a surface. When a loaded drawer is placed on a surface, comparatively high forces act on the outer wall with the rounded portion. This can lead to undesirable deformation or damage to the outer wall, as it is made of a thin material and the weight forces act on the outer wall with a large leverage.
[0004] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a drawer in which protection against damage to a support is possible even with high weight loads.

[0006] The drawer according to the invention comprises a front panel, a rear wall, and two side frames between the front panel and rear wall, to which a base is held, wherein at least one side frame has an inner wall and an outer wall, each of which protrudes downwards from the base. In a rear region of the drawer, a portion of the inner wall projects beyond the outer wall when the base is horizontally aligned, and a rear portion at the end of the inner wall has a rounded support contour. The rounded support contour forms a section that runs around at least one axis, wherein the axis is arranged substantially perpendicular to a drawer inner surface of the inner wall. As a result, the drawer is supported by the inner wall, offset inward from the outer wall, so that the weight loads of the drawer can be carried further inside on the rounded support contour.This allows comparatively high forces to be dissipated, with the base preferably resting directly on the inner wall at a support section, allowing forces to be transferred from the rounded support contour to the base via the section of the inner wall located below the base. The axis of the receiving contour does not have to be the same for all sections of the receiving contour, but can be arranged at different positions depending on the section of the receiving contour.

[0021] A drawer 1 comprises a front panel 2, a rear wall 3, and two side frames 4 between the front panel 2 and the rear wall 3. In the assembled position, the drawer 1 is held on a pull-out guide on a furniture body and can be removed from the pull-out guide. The pull-out guide can, for example, be designed as a concealed pull-out guide, in which the rails of the pull-out guide are arranged beneath a base 5 of the drawer 1.

On the inner wall 40, in the rear area, adjacent to the rear wall 3, a support contour 43 is formed on a section 44 bent towards the outer wall 41. This rounded support contour 43 has no sharp edge and thus prevents damage to the support surface 10 when the drawer 1 is placed on the support contour 43. The drawer 1 can roll along the two support contours 43 of the side frames 4 when the front panel 2 is lifted from the support surface 10.The support contour 43 remains the only contact point between the drawer 1 and the support surface 10 over an angle a, i.e., when the bottom of the drawer 1 is horizontally aligned, up to an angle a of 15° or preferably up to 45°. A section 46 is formed on the support contour, which extends at least around an axis A.
[0023] Figure 2 shows a section through a side frame 4. It can be seen that a cavity 6 is formed between the inner wall 40 and the outer wall 41 above a base 5. The inner wall 40 has a groove 7, advantageously U-shaped, to accommodate an edge of the base 5. In the region of the groove 7, the inner wall 40 is provided with profiles 8, for example projections, on which the smoothly downwardly extending outer wall 41 is supported. In the upper region of the side frame 4, the inner wall 40 has an edge 15 that engages in a receptacle of an upper section 14 of the outer wall 41. Claims
Claims 1 . Drawer (1) with a front panel (2), a rear wall (3) and two side frames (4) between the front panel (2) and the rear wall (3), on which a base (5) is held, wherein at least one side frame (4) has an inner wall (40) and an outer wall (41), each projecting downwards from the base (5), characterized in that in a rear region of the drawer (1), a part of the inner wall (40) projects downwards beyond the outer wall (41) when the base (5) is aligned horizontally, and a rear part at the end of the inner wall (40) has a rounded support contour (43, 43', 43"), wherein the rounded support contour (43, 43', 43") forms a section (46, 46', 46") which runs at least around one axis (A), wherein the axis (A) is substantially perpendicular to a drawer inner surface of the inner wall (40) is arranged.
2. Drawer according to claim 1, characterized in that the drawer (1) rolls along the support contour (43, 43', 43") when the front panel (2) is lifted.
3. Drawer according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the outer wall (41) has a recess (50) or a relief contour at the rear lower end.
4. Drawer according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support contour (43) is formed by an embossing on the inner wall (40).
5. Drawer according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the support contour (43') is formed by a round cut edge on the inner wall (40).
6. Drawer according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the inner wall (40) has a downwardly directed web (42) arranged under the base (5).
7. Drawer according to claim 6, characterized in that a curved section (44) directed towards the outer wall (41) is formed on the web (42), on which section the support contour (43) is formed.
8. Drawer according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a support element (11) is arranged between the inner wall (40) and the outer wall (41), wherein the support element (11) is fastened to the inner wall (40) and on which the support contour (43") is arranged.
9. Drawer according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the inner wall (40) has a groove (7) into which an edge of the base (5) is inserted.
10. Drawer according to claim 9, characterized in that the outer wall (41) is supported on the inner wall (40) in the region of the base (5).
11. Drawer according to claim 6 or 9, characterized in that the support contour (43, 43', 43") is supported on the underside of the base (5) via the web (42) or via a lower groove wall (47) of the groove (7).
12. Drawer according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support contour (43, 43', 43") has a radius between 2 mm and 40 mm.
13. Drawer according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the inner wall (40) is made of a metal sheet.
14. Drawer according to claim 13, characterized in that the metal sheet has a thickness between 0.5 mm and 1 mm.
