Abstract

The invention relates to a clothes holder which has a frame having a projecting part and two outer rods, wherein the two outer rods and the additional rods arranged therebetween form a comb-like structure. According to the invention, two different connecting elements are provided. [0002] The invention relates to a laundry holder.

[0003] A clothes rack is a device used for drying laundry. There are different types of clothes racks, such as clothes airers, rotary clothes dryers, and wall dryers.

Claims

Patent claims 1. A laundry rack (1) comprising a frame (2) with two outer rods (3), each connected to one another at one end via a web (4), further rods (5), each attached at one end exclusively to the web (4) and extending parallel to the outer rods (3), wherein the outer rods and the additional rods (3, 5) arranged therebetween lie in one plane, at least one support structure (6, 12) with a first holder (7) and a first connecting element (8) arranged on the web (4), designed for releasably fastening the frame (2) to the first holder (7) in a drying position, wherein all the rods (3, 5) lie in a substantially horizontal plane in the drying position, a second holder (11) arranged on the at least one support structure (6, 12), and a second connecting element (13) arranged on one of the two outer rods (3) or on the web (4),arranged for releasably fastening the frame (2) to the second support (11) in a storage position, wherein all rods (3, 5) lie in a substantially vertical plane in the storage position, a torque support (10) arranged on the web (4) or the first connecting element (8), designed to positively prevent rotation of the frame (2) about an axis running parallel to the longitudinal axes of the rods (3, 5) in the drying position.

2. Laundry holder according to claim 1, characterized in that all rods (3, 5) are always aligned horizontally, regardless of whether they are in a substantially horizontal plane in the drying position or in a substantially vertical plane in the storage position.

3. Laundry holder according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the first connecting element (8) and the torque support (10) are arranged centrally on the web (4).

Laundry holder according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the first holder (7) has a hook (7.2), the first connecting element (8) has an opening (8.3) in a plate-shaped area (8.2), wherein the opening (8.3) is arranged for hanging the frame (2) on the hook (7.2) in the drying position, the torque support (10) has effective surfaces (10.1), an abutment (9) with active surfaces (9.1, 9.2) is arranged on the support structure (6) or the first holder (7), wherein the active surfaces (10.1, 9.1, 10.2, 9.2) of the torque support (10) and the abutment (9) interact in pairs to prevent the rotation of the frame (2) about the axis in both directions.

5. Laundry holder according to claim 4, characterized in that the torque support (10) is designed as a cylindrical opening (10.2) in the first connecting element (8) and the abutment (9) is designed as a cylindrical pin (9.2) engaging in the cylindrical opening (10.2).

6. Laundry holder according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the supporting structure (6) is a wall (6.2) or a frame (6.1).

7. Laundry holder according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the second holder (11) is a clothes rail (11.6) and the second connecting element (13) is a suspension element (13.3) arranged on one of the two outer rods (3).

8. Laundry holder according to claim 7, characterized in that the position of the suspension element (13.3) on the outer rod is variable.

Laundry holder according to claim 7 or 8, characterized in that the suspension element (13.3) has a hook with an elongated section (13.5) and in the elongated section (13.5) several trough-shaped support surfaces (13.6) are arranged next to one another, which are adapted to the cross-section of the clothes rail (11.6).

10. Laundry holder according to one of claims 7 to 9, characterized in that a support element is arranged on the web (4), designed to introduce torques acting on the frame (2) of the laundry holder (1) in the storage position into a wall (6.2).

11. Laundry holder according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the second holder (11) arranged on the support structure (6, 12) and the second connecting element (13) arranged on the web (4) together form a separable hinge.

Laundry holder according to claim 11, characterized in that the second holder (11) has a lower and an upper plate-shaped element (11.1, 11.2) arranged at a vertical distance and parallel to one another, wherein in the two plate-shaped elements (11.1, 11.2) aligned notches (11.3, 11.4) are arranged, that the second connecting element (13) arranged on the web (4) has a section (13.1) of circular cylindrical cross section extending in a longitudinal direction of the web (4) and a flange ring (13.2) arranged concentrically above the circular cylindrical section (13.1) in the storage position of the frame (2), that on an upwardly facing surface of the upper plate-shaped element (11.2) there is arranged an edge (11.5) of partially circular cross section, against which the flange ring (13.2) partially comes to bear in the storage position, that the notch (11.3) of the lower plate-shaped element (11.1) is adapted to the circular cylindrical section (13.1) in such a way that its outer surface partially comes to bear against the notch (11.3) in the storage position of the frame (2).

13. Laundry holder according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the rods (3, 5) are at least partially designed as a handle.

14. Laundry holder according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the length of the rods (3, 5) is variable by an extension piece arranged at the free end of the rods (3, 5), wherein the extension piece is pivotable, telescopic or is connected to the free end via a plug connection.

15. Laundry holder according to one of claims 1 to 14, characterized in that the rods (3, 5) are detachably connected to the web (4).

16. Laundry holder according to one of claims 1 to 15, characterized in that elongated protective caps (15) with two opposite ends are arranged on the free ends of the rods (3, 5), each protective cap (15) being connected at one end to the free end of the rod (3, 5) in a captive manner but rotatable about the longitudinal axis of one of the rods (3, 5), and the other end not lying in the plane of the rods (3, 5).
