Abstract

Cardboard board (S) feeder for a machine (100) for forming cardboard boxes (B) from boards (S), comprising: a suction cup (61), and a loader (10) comprising: a lower support (12) of a stack (P) of said boards (S) with a downward inclination from an input end of boards (S) towards an output end of boards (S), and two lateral guides (11), provided to be one on each side of the boards (S) of the stack (P), to positionally delimit mutually facing lateral edges (CL) of the boards (S), the lower support (12) and the lateral guides (11) delimiting a loading area with a lower side, two lateral sides, and with the input end and the output end of boards (S) mutually facing each other according to a longitudinal feed direction (A) of the boards (S), a stop device, arranged at the output end for retaining the front plate (S) of a stack (P) removable by the suction cup (61); an endless belt (13) aligned with the direction of advance (A); characterized in that the endless belt (13) is coupled to two rotating elements without traction (14) with transverse axes and is in contact with the lower support (12), to slide the endless belt (13) on the lower support (12) and to slide on the endless belt (13) lower edges (CI) of the plates (S) that form the stack (P), and wherein the endless belt (13) is movable in the direction of advance (A) and the rotating elements without traction (14) are rotated by a friction force of the lower edges (CI) on the endless belt (13).
