Abstract
Description
DISPLAY CONSISTING OF SEVERAL STACKED PRISMATIC MODULES ROTATABLE WITH RESPECT TO EACH OTHER OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention, as stated in the title of the invention, is a display stand made up of several stacked prismatic modules that can be rotated relative to each other. The present invention is characterized by the special design and configuration of each and every one of the sheets used in the formation of each of the individual modules of the display, so that each module can be folded flat, so that the display with the prismatic modules, although joined together, are stacked and folded. The present invention is also characterized by the fact that the individual prismatic modules, both in their folded and unfolded positions, can rotate relative to each other about a vertical axis, and each individual module can be oriented as needed. Therefore, the present invention is circumscribed within the scope of display sets in the form of totems, foldable and preferably made of corrugated cardboard. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Displays made of corrugated cardboard are becoming increasingly common, as are displays that have a series of horizontal surfaces like shelving, forming a prismatic structure open at the front where all the horizontal surfaces have the same orientation. It turns out that it is necessary or convenient to have horizontal surfaces with different orientations to improve the display and facilitate the differentiation of the different products; however, this is not possible with the displays currently available on the market. Therefore, the object of the present invention is to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks of display stands in which the different horizontal surfaces all have the same orientation, by developing a display stand as described below and essentially set out in claim one. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is set out in its essentials in the independent claim and the different embodiments are set out in the dependent claims. The present invention relates to a display unit consisting of several stacked prismatic modules that can be rotated relative to each other, each prismatic module being formed from a main sheet and two sheets that serve to form the side closures, which have the particularity of being foldable relative to the main surfaces of each individual prismatic module. Each individual prismatic module is foldable and remains linked to the individual modules by a joint that allows one module to rotate relative to another. Each individual prismatic module is formed from a main sheet and two secondary sheets. The main sheet forms the overall prismatic structure, while the secondary sheets form hinged closing covers. The main sheet has four sections: a first front section, followed by a roof section, followed by a second front section, and this followed by a base section. The front sections each have access windows facing each other, while the roof and base sections have reinforcing flaps and fixing a roof reinforcement and a base reinforcement. The ability to rotate a prismatic module with respect to the adjacent one is possible because on the roof and base sections and their respective roof and base reinforcements there are perforations in a coincident arrangement through which articulation or rotation means are passed, such as a pressure screw. Each of the secondary sheets consists of two main sections joined together by a connecting section. Reinforcement flaps are located along their upper and lower edges. One main section has a lateral extension with a means for attaching a rubber band, while an additional piece, also with a means for attaching a rubber band, is attached to the opposite end of this same main section. The other main section of the secondary sheet has a folding flap along its free edge, which is essential for folding each prismatic module. Therefore, thanks to the characteristics of the sheets from which each individual module is formed, the individual modules are foldable and can rotate about a vertical axis with respect to the adjacent one; it is also possible for the individual modules to be oriented differently from one another, since one module can rotate about a vertical axis with respect to another. Unless otherwise stated, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the meanings commonly understood by a person skilled in the art to which this invention pertains. Similar or equivalent procedures and materials to those described herein may be used in the practice of this invention. Throughout the description and claims, the word "comprises" and its variants are not intended to exclude other technical features, additives, components, or steps. For those skilled in the art, other objects, advantages, and features of the invention will become apparent partly from the description and partly from the practice of the invention. EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES To complement the description being made and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, according to a preferred example of its practical embodiment, a set of drawings is included as an integral part of said description, in which the following has been represented for illustrative and non-limiting purposes. In Figure 1, we can observe a perspective representation of the display unit that is the object of the invention, where several individual prismatic modules can be seen stacked and rotated with respect to each other. In Figure 2, we can observe a general perspective representation of an unfolded prismatic module. Figure 3 shows representations of the cut and die-cut cardboard sheets from which each individual prismatic module is formed. Figure 4 shows the process of forming a side closure. Figure 5 shows a shaped side closure. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION. In view of the figures, a preferred embodiment of the proposed invention is described below. In Figure 1 we can observe a display stand like the one that is the object of the invention and which is made up of several prismatic modules (1) that are foldable, stacked and rotatable with respect to each other with respect to a vertical axis. Optionally and as a complementary but not limiting measure, the prismatic module assembly may be placed on a base or pedestal (2), the presence or absence of this base not being limiting. Figure 2 shows an unfolded prismatic module (1), which has a roof section (4), a base section (5), a first front closure (6), and a second front closure (7). Depending on the module's orientation, one of these front closures (6) and (7) will be at the front and the other at the back. Each front closure (6) and (7) has a window (6.1) and (7.1), respectively. In addition, each of the foldable and rotatable prismatic modules (1) has two hinged side covers (9) so that when folded over a front closure of the module, it allows the complete collapse or folding of each individual module. Figure 3 shows, firstly, a main sheet (3) that serves to form the structure of each foldable prismatic module (1), as well as two secondary sheets (10) that serve to form the folding side covers (9). The main sheet (3) has several sections joined together in an aligned arrangement, a first front closure section (6) followed by a roof section (4) followed by a second front closure section (7) and this followed by a base section (5). The first front closure section (6) has a window (6.1), as well as two side joining flaps (6.2). The roof section (4) has two flaps (4.1) for securing and fixing a roof reinforcement (4.3). The second front closure section (7) has a window (7.1), as well as flaps (7.2) for attaching vertical reinforcements (8). Finally, the base section (5) has flaps (5.1) on its sides for securing and fixing a base reinforcement (5.3). Both the roof section (4) and the base section (5) have holes (4.2) and (5.2) respectively, and the lid reinforcement (4.3) and the base reinforcement (5.3) also have perforations (4.4) and (5.4) respectively, so that when the prismatic module (1) is formed, all these perforations are aligned and through which a pressure screw (17) is passed, allowing the rotation of one prismatic module (1) with respect to the adjacent one. Each of the secondary sheets (10) that serve to form the folding side panels (9), comprise two main sections (11) joined by a connecting section (16), each of the main sections having upper and lower flaps (11.1) that serve as reinforcement, on the other hand, the secondary sheet (10) has at one end a side extension (12) that folds inwards, while at the other end it has a folding flap (15). On the main section (11) from which the lateral extension (12) emerges, an additional piece (13) is fixed on its opposite side on the surface (14), both the lateral extension (12) and the additional piece (13) serving as a means of fixing elastic means or rubbers. Figure 4 shows the secondary sheet (10) partially assembled, where the upper and lower flaps (11.1) can be seen folded and glued onto the main sections (11), as well as the side extension (12), and the additional piece (13), both of which have cuts to accommodate a rubber (18), necessary for the formation of the side covers (9) in their folding process. Figure 5 shows a hinged side cover (9) formed from a secondary sheet (10) and the additional piece (13), where it can be seen how the hinge flap (15) is arranged, which is provided with tabs (15.1), with the entire surface of the hinge flap (15) attached to one end of a front section, so that these side covers can be hinged. Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is stated that, within its essential nature, it may be put into practice in other forms of embodiment that differ in detail from the one indicated as an example, and which will also achieve the protection sought, provided that it does not alter, change or modify its fundamental principle.
