Abstract

A beverage parasol, characterized in that it comprises a flattened base (1) that defines a surface for supporting a glass or beverage container, the base including a groove (2) near one of its ends, into which a laminar body acting as a parasol fits snugly, defining a first vertical section (3) of a height equal to or greater than the height intended for the containers or glasses to be placed on the base (1), the laminar body terminating at its upper end in a bend (4) that extends above the base (1) to define a cantilevered visor (5).

Description

Drink parasol TECHNICAL SECTOR The present invention relates to a device that, due to its configuration, prevents the heating of beverages by solar radiation and protects said glass or container from the accidental fall of leaves, soil, dust, or any element likely to land on said glass or container. The device also features a configuration that makes it ideal as an advertising medium, or a highly customizable device. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In the practical application of the invention, when a beverage is consumed outdoors, it is common for it to heat up before being fully consumed due to the solar radiation to which it is exposed, with the consequent negative impact that this has on the consumer. Furthermore, exposing a beverage to the open air carries the risk that an object present in the air, such as leaves, dust, insects, etc., may accidentally fall on it, ruining it. EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION The proposed beverage parasol fully and satisfactorily resolves the aforementioned problem, based on a simple yet highly effective solution. To this end, and more specifically, the device of the invention is made up of two pieces that are easily linked together. The first piece consists of a base, preferably of a flattened rectangular prismatic configuration, which defines a support surface for the glass or beverage container to be consumed. This surface area will be larger than the dimensions of the vessel or container in question, so that it includes a groove into which a laminar body fits as a parasol, which has a first flat vertical sector, with a height equal to or greater than the height planned for the containers to be protected from solar radiation, and which is finished at the top in a bend that determines a visor that generates a barrier against the sun's rays. As is evident, the laminar body functioning as a parasol will be opaque in nature, constituting an ideal surface for the inclusion of advertising or personalized decoration. The device thus described creates a kind of protective shield against solar radiation and possible elements present in the air, ensuring perfect consumption of the beverage without it getting hot or dirty. It is an extremely economical and easy-to-manufacture device that, together with its great capacity for customization or inclusion of advertising, allows for great acceptance and acquisition by consumers, whether as an advertising complement or a personalized accessory with sports, cultural, etc. motifs. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS To complement the description that follows and to aid in a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, according to a preferred embodiment thereof, a set of drawings is included as an integral part of said description, in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented: Figure 1 shows a front perspective view of a beverage parasol made in accordance with the object of the present invention. Figure 2 shows a rear-side perspective view of the device of the invention. Figure 3 shows a profile view of the device. Figure 4 shows, finally, an elevation view opposite to that of Figure 1. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION In view of the figures described, it can be observed how the beverage parasol of the invention is made up of a flattened base (1), preferably of rectangular prismatic configuration, which defines a support surface for the glass or beverage container to be consumed, which in the chosen embodiment is made of PVC, with a thickness of about 19 mm and plan dimensions of 120x120 mm, more than enough to define a support and stabilization space for the glass or beverage container to be consumed outdoors. Near one of the edges of the base (1) it incorporates a slot (2) into which a laminar body fits snugly as a sunshade. This allows the device to be easily disassembled, so that it occupies minimal volume during transport and storage. More specifically, the laminar body functioning as a parasol in the chosen embodiment is made from aluminum composite, and includes a first vertical sector (3) with a height equal to or greater than the height intended for the containers or cups to be protected, such as 330 mm high and 120 mm wide, with a thickness of about 2 mm, a sheet that is finished at the top in a bend (4) that extends above the base (1) to define a cantilevered visor (5). The device thus described defines a barrier against sunlight and elements present in the air, ensuring optimal consumption of the beverage without it heating up prematurely or becoming dirty. As previously stated, the sheet used as a sunshade is a flat surface ideal for including advertising or personalized decoration, such as your sports team's logo, cultural events, landscapes, commemorative events, etc.

Claims

1. A beverage parasol, characterized in that it comprises a flattened base (1) that defines a surface for supporting a glass or beverage container, the base including a groove (2) near one of its ends, into which a laminar body acting as a parasol fits snugly. This laminar body defines a first vertical section (3) with a height equal to or greater than the height intended for the containers or glasses to be placed on the base (1). The laminar body terminates at its upper end in a bend (4) that extends above the base (1) to define a cantilevered visor (5).

2. A beverage parasol according to claim 1, characterized in that the base (1) is made of PVC and has a flattened prismatic configuration.

3. A beverage parasol according to claim 1, characterized in that the laminar body acting as a parasol is made of aluminum composite. 4.A beverage parasol, according to claim 1, characterized in that the base (1) has dimensions of approximately 120x120x19 mm.

5. A beverage parasol, according to claim 1, characterized in that the laminar body acting as a parasol has a width of approximately 120 mm, a height of approximately 330 mm, and a thickness of approximately 2 mm.
