Abstract

Auxiliary seat for child transport systems TECHNICAL SECTOR The present invention falls within the sector of child transport, specifically in the field of auxiliary systems intended for the transport of children and babies in strollers or baby carriages (hereinafter, stroller). BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Currently, there are several systems on the market designed to allow the transport of a second child in the same stroller, among which the following stand out: One of these is the scooter-style auxiliary seat, which attaches to the rear axle of the stroller in a tandem configuration. This system has a narrow width, which is uncomfortable for larger children and makes it difficult for the person pushing the stroller to walk, potentially causing the child to trip or even fall. Furthermore, the rigidity of the accessory and its lack of ergonomics prevent the child from moving naturally or adopting a comfortable position, increasing the risk of falls. Another common system is the auxiliary seat suspended from the stroller's handlebar, like a swing. This solution creates instability due to the weight difference between the front and rear axles, especially when rocking, which leads to a high probability of tipping over, with potentially serious consequences for both the child using the auxiliary seat and the child seated in the main stroller seat. There are also fabric baby carriers, equipped with a three-point harness that secures the second child only at the waist. This type of restraint does not prevent the child from leaning or tipping over, as it lacks any attachments to keep their back in constant contact with the seat back. Furthermore, the upper attachment point of these types of seats can cause the fabric to twist during turns or swings, resulting in the child's upper torso coming into contact with the ground, with the consequent risk of injury. Similarly, the partial restraint of the body with the lower torso secured to the seat can lead to improper posture and potential problems in the child's lower back or upper back. EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION The auxiliary textile seat of the present invention is equipped with a four-point anchoring system, consisting of two upper straps (2) and two lower straps (3), sewn with twisted thread and reinforced with triple transverse stitching. Each of these straps is attached to the textile area of ​​the seat by reinforced stitching, which guarantees high mechanical resistance (Figure 1). The four anchor points are adjustable. The upper straps (2) are attached to the trolley by means of metal buckles (4) connected to an upper anchoring system located on the trolley's push bar (Figure 2), and have sliding ladder-type locking buckles (5) that allow their length to be adjusted. The lower straps (3) are sewn to the textile body in the same way, are extendable, and are equipped with a snap closure system (6) that allows them to be securely attached to the trolley frame. The seat is equipped with a five-point safety harness with a quick-release buckle (1) which, in addition to securing the lower part of the child's torso, keeps their back in constant contact with the fabric backrest. This configuration prevents the fabric from twisting during rocking or turning, avoids the risk of the child being thrown upwards with a bouncing effect, and facilitates rest (Figures 3, 4, and 6). Furthermore, the arrangement of the lower straps (3) allows them to be positioned below the main seat and can also be attached to the stroller frame, including the axle of the front or rear wheels (Figure 5). This placement shifts the center of gravity to a point directly below the main seat, virtually eliminating the risk of tipping over, even with the child in a reclined position, as the harness also secures the child at the shoulders. It is worth noting that, thanks to its textile structure, the seat is easy to store, its volume being so small that it can be stored in a pocket, and it allows the stroller to be folded without risk of causing damage to either the stroller or the auxiliary textile seat itself, and it can remain assembled without increasing the volume of the stroller. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION The present invention proposes a textile auxiliary seat consisting of a fabric body (Figure 1) provided with a four-point anchoring system, distributed in two upper straps (2) and two lower straps (3), as well as a five-point safety harness with quick-release closure (1). The seat has an inner face (figure 1), intended for the support of the child, and an outer face that can have a print or plain color (figure 3). The two upper straps (2) are located in the upper part of the seat, while the two lower straps (3) are located in the lower part. The five-point safety harness (1) integrates side safety straps that go around the child's waist, a lower central strap designed to prevent the so-called "submarine" effect, and upper straps that keep the child's back in constant contact with the fabric backrest, preventing rollovers or sudden turns. Each upper strap (2) is provided with a ladder-type locking sliding buckle (5), which allows the height of the backrest to be adjusted according to the child's size, as well as a metal buckle (4) that allows it to be attached to the upper anchoring system located on the push bar of the stroller (figure 2). The lower straps (3) incorporate a pressure-locking system (6) that allows adjusting its length and facilitates the attachment of the auxiliary seat to the chassis of the cart, including the axle of the front or rear wheels, guaranteeing stability and safety. The five-point safety harness (1) consists of adjustable straps that converge at a quick-release central buckle, providing simultaneous support at the child's shoulders, waist, and crotch, ensuring safety and comfort even while resting. Protective padding is available as an option.

A textile auxiliary seat for child transport systems of the stroller or pram type, intended for transporting a second child in the same stroller, comprising a textile body configured to accommodate the child and means for attaching it to the stroller, characterized in that the textile body is flexible and resistant and is provided with a five-point safety harness with a quick-release buckle (1), and in that the attachment means comprise a four-point anchoring system, formed by two upper straps (2) and two lower straps (3), said straps being sewn to the textile body by means of reinforced seams, the anchoring system and the safety harness being configured so that the child is retained with continuous dorsal support on the textile body during use. 2.A textile auxiliary seat for child transport systems according to claim 1, characterized in that the upper straps (2) comprise metal buckles (4) and ladder-type locking sliding buckles (5) for adjusting their length.

3. A textile auxiliary seat for child transport systems according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the upper straps (2) are configured for attachment to the push bar of the stroller.

A textile auxiliary seat for child transport systems according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the lower straps (3) comprise a snap-lock system (6) for adjustable attachment to a lower structural part of the stroller. 5.A textile auxiliary seat for child transport systems according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the five-point safety harness (1) comprises adjustable straps that converge at a quick-release central buckle, providing support at the child's shoulders, waist, and crotch.

7. A textile auxiliary seat for child transport systems according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the auxiliary seat is configured to be installed with the main stroller seat in both forward-facing and rear-facing orientations.
