Description

Dual scoop for collecting animal waste OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The invention, as the title of this descriptive document states, is a dual-purpose shovel for collecting animal waste. It is an innovation that offers advantages previously unknown within current techniques. TECHNICAL SECTOR The present invention falls within the sector of current needs of life in agriculture, forestry, breeding, hunting, trapping and fishing, especially in animal breeding, poultry farming, beekeeping, fish farming, fishing, animals for breeding or reproduction, not provided for elsewhere and new varieties of animals, specifically in animal housing and its equipment, as well as in cleaning manure or urine. STATE OF THE ART The present invention arises from the observation of the difficulties presented by the daily cleaning of sandboxes for domestic animals, a common task that must be carried out frequently to ensure adequate conditions of hygiene and well-being. Waste collection in these environments involves handling both solid excrement and urine and absorbent material, which requires the use of efficient and easy-to-handle utensils. Currently, there are various solutions designed to facilitate this task, such as automated litter boxes, waste collectors with compartments for waste storage, and specific absorbent materials. However, many of these alternatives are complex, expensive, or impractical for easily fulfilling a basic function like the daily collection of solid and liquid waste. As a result, the user continues to face tools that do not offer an integrated, clear, and functional solution for this everyday task. Given this situation, the present invention proposes a dual shovel for collecting animal waste intended to simplify this task through a logical and efficient solution that allows for more convenient and direct waste collection, optimizing an essential activity in the care of domestic animals. Currently, there is no known existence of any dual shovel for collecting animal waste that has structural and constitutive technical characteristics equal or similar to those described in this descriptive report, as claimed. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is the creation of a dual shovel for collecting animal waste, which brings a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany the present description. The invention relates to a dual-purpose shovel for collecting animal waste, comprising a perforated shovel, formed by a handle and a perforated bowl, which can hold a solid, non-perforated shovel such that the bowl of the solid shovel overlaps the perforated bowl, and the handles overlap each other. Both shovels are detachable. In this way, they can be configured for use together or separately for collecting solid, liquid, or wet waste. The handle of the perforated shovel may incorporate a compartment for at least one waste bag, facilitating the handling and management of waste during cleaning in environments intended for the housing and care of domestic animals. This innovation effectively addresses the challenges associated with the daily cleanup of animal waste, simplifying a common task that requires handling various materials. Through an integrated and flexible solution, it facilitates the collection of both solid and liquid or wet waste, reducing the need for multiple tools and optimizing the cleaning process in a straightforward and efficient manner. This innovation is particularly advantageous in environments where hygiene and speed are essential, allowing cleaning tasks to be carried out more comfortably, efficiently, and systematically. It also contributes to improving the user experience, reducing the effort required, and maintaining adequate cleanliness and well-being in spaces dedicated to animal care. The perforated bowl's holes can be configured to sift the granular material contained in the litter box, facilitating the separation of solid waste from reusable material. This arrangement of holes can improve the efficiency of the cleaning process, reduce the amount of waste, and optimize the maintenance of the animal's environment. The hole spacing can be, for example, between 4 and 15 mm. The solid scoop can be used for collecting liquid or wet waste that cannot be separated by screening. This configuration can be especially useful for complementing the cleaning function and can expand the range of waste that can be handled with the same tool. To optimize the overlap of both bowls, the bowl of the solid shovel can be dimensionally smaller than the bowl of the perforated shovel, allowing it to fit inside the perforated bowl when used together. This arrangement facilitates storage, transport, and combined use of both shovels, providing a compact and tidy solution during cleaning. It should be noted that identical bowls can also be coupled together, but this results in a thicker edge or blade, making it less desirable. Similarly, the compartment can be integrated into the handle of the perforated scoop, designed to hold at least one bag or roll of waste bags. This integration allows the user to have the bags readily available during cleaning, facilitates continuous waste management, and contributes to a more organized and efficient use of the tool, reducing interruptions and improving ease of use. The solid shovel handle can be configured to fit into a hollow space in the perforated shovel handle. In one embodiment, the handle of the solid shovel can act as a closure or lid for the bag compartment when both shovels are coupled together. This configuration can provide an additional function of closing and protecting the compartment, help keep the bags stored in suitable conditions, and enhance the functional integration between the two shovels. In another embodiment, compatible with the previous one, the compartment may have an outlet slot configured to allow the individual removal of waste bags. This slot facilitates controlled dispensing of the bags, prevents the simultaneous removal of multiple units, and improves hygiene and practicality during cleaning, ensuring the progressive use of the contents stored in the compartment. To use the dual shovel for collecting animal waste, the user must take the perforated shovel, with or without the solid shovel, by their respective handles and place them in the area where the waste is located. Depending on the type of waste to be collected, the user can use the perforated shovel to facilitate the screening of granular material and the separation of solid waste, or use the solid shovel for the collection of liquid or wet waste, and can also use both shovels together when necessary. During joint use, depending on the shape of the handle and the bowl of the solid shovel, it can be housed inside the perforated shovel, allowing coordinated manipulation of the whole by holding only the handle of the perforated shovel. Additionally, the user can have at least one bag or roll of waste bags housed in the compartment built into the handle of the perforated shovel, and can remove the bags individually through the slot in said compartment to deposit the waste collected during cleaning tasks. Once the corresponding bag has been removed and used, the user can close the compartment by fitting the handle of the solid shovel when both shovels are attached, thus facilitating an orderly, continuous and efficient cleaning, as well as a correct functional integration between both elements of the utensil. EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES To complete the description being made and in order to help in the better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive memorandum is accompanied, as an integral part thereof, by some figures in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented. Figure 1 shows an overview of the dual shovel for collecting animal waste. Figure 2 shows another overview of the dual shovel for collecting animal waste. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION The dual-purpose shovel for collecting animal waste, as shown, comprises a perforated shovel (1) with a handle and a perforated bowl, and a solid shovel (2) with a handle and a solid, non-perforated bowl. Both are configured to be used together or separately for collecting solid, liquid, or wet waste. The embodiment shown incorporates a compartment (3) in the handle of the perforated shovel (1) for holding at least one waste bag, although this compartment can also be located in the solid shovel (2). This configuration allows for the integration of complementary waste collection and management functions into a single tool, facilitating cleaning tasks in animal care environments. The perforated shovel (1) has holes configured to allow screening of the granular material in the sandbox and separation of solid waste. This arrangement enables the reusable absorbent material to be separated from the waste, optimizing the cleaning process and reducing material waste. The solid scoop (2) has a closed, solid bowl without holes, designed for collecting liquid or wet waste. This feature allows for the direct handling of waste that cannot be sieved, ensuring efficient collection and preventing spills during use. The perforated shovel (1) comprises a perforated shovel handle (4) rigidly attached to it for manual handling. This perforated shovel handle (4) allows for firm and controlled handling of the tool, contributing to greater precision and comfort during continuous use. The solid shovel (2) comprises a solid shovel handle (5) for manual handling. Preferably, the bowl of the solid shovel (2) is dimensionally smaller than the perforated shovel (1), and is configured to fit inside the bowl of the perforated shovel (1) when both are used together. This dimensional relationship facilitates a compact arrangement of the assembly, improving ergonomics, storage, and coordinated use of both shovels during cleaning. Generally, compartment (3) is integrated into the handle of the perforated scoop (4) and is designed to hold at least one bag or roll of waste bags. This integrated design in the handle of the perforated scoop (4) allows for the collection and storage of waste to be combined into a single unit, making it easy for the user to have the bags readily available during cleaning and contributing to a more organized, continuous, and efficient management of the collected waste. The handle of the solid shovel (5) can be configured to fit into a space arranged in the perforated shovel (1), as shown in the figures. In one embodiment, the handle of the solid shovel (5) can remain in place, closing the compartment (3) when the perforated shovel (1) and the solid shovel (2) are attached. This configuration provides an additional function of closing and protecting the compartment, reinforcing the functional integration between the two shovels and ensuring the correct storage of the waste bag during use and storage of the assembly. In another preferred embodiment, compartment (3) has an outlet slot configured to allow the individual removal of waste bags. This outlet slot enables controlled dispensing of the bags, preventing their simultaneous removal and improving hygiene and ease of use, while also ensuring the progressive use of the contents stored in compartment (3) during cleaning operations. Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to make its explanation more extensive so that any expert in the field may understand its scope and the advantages that derive from it, it being noted that, within its essentiality, it may be put into practice in other modes of embodiment that differ in detail from the one indicated as an example, and which will also achieve the protection sought provided that its fundamental principle is not altered, changed or modified.

1. A dual shovel for collecting animal waste, characterized in that it comprises a perforated shovel (1) with a perforated shovel handle (4) and a perforated bowl, and a solid shovel (2) with a solid shovel handle (5) and a solid bowl, attachable to each other by their handles (4, 5) and such that both bowls overlap.

2. A dual shovel for collecting animal waste, according to claim 1, characterized in that the bowl of the solid shovel (2) is dimensionally smaller than the bowl of the perforated shovel (1).

3. A dual shovel for collecting animal waste, according to claim 1, characterized in that the handle of the perforated shovel (4) comprises an insertion space for the handle of the solid shovel (5).

4. A dual shovel for collecting animal waste, according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a waste bag compartment (3). 5.A dual shovel for collecting animal waste, according to claim 4, characterized in that the compartment is in the perforated shovel handle (4).
