Abstract

A disposable dental suction cannula comprising a tubular body defining an internal channel provided with an inlet and an outlet opening, said channel including a particle retention chamber formed by an enlargement of the channel's cross-section, characterized in that within said chamber there is at least one internal element integrated into the cannula body itself, in the form of a ridge, rib, or septum, arranged non-aligned with the longitudinal axis of the channel, such that the chamber and said internal element define an internal fluid passage with a trajectory deviated from the longitudinal axis and an internal area for retaining particles generated during dental treatments.
